according to my *awesome* calender, it appears that the contests have ended! (if you "missed" it, you may pm me the submission and I will put it on, but only today [Saturday]) You guys will have two weeks to vote, at the end of the two weeks, I will open a new forum in the appropriate sub forms and you may submit another group.

Hey guys, just to let you know, I'm starting the second draft of my book. After going back, it's very apparent that my writing has matured over the years, and this is going to take a LOT more time that I thought it would. Wish me luck as I dive in and prepare to rip and shred the thing that has brought so much joy and purpose to my life in order to make it the best it can possibly be.

Also, since this is a writer's guild that includes all types of writing, I would like you to post this picture on the front and title it "Jack of all trades" which means any writer, any style.  but only if everyone agrees.

I have one question....

are we allowed to post our own work
in the subforums??
I just clicked it and I saw a thread
with a person's poem in it.
I thought it was a contest,
but are we allowed to make our own thread?
cuz if we are allowed, then the contest thread
might get a little crowded and disorganized.

mexicantacos2003 I have one question.... (i bet you'll find out what before reading this) are we allowed to post our own work in the subforums?? I just clicked it and I saw a thread with a person's poem in it. I thought it was a contest, but are we allowed to make our own thread? cuz if we are allowed, then the contest thread might get a little crowded and disorganized. Yes, as long as you arn't spamming it, all contests will have the date and (now the end) of the contest. If you want to post your own poem, you are free to do so, but make sure if you have 2+ poems to post it in one fourm, not one topic per poem. so your topic title maybe 'So-so's poetry' etc. thats to make sure it wont fill up. Thats a honest question, thanks for asking. This also goes for any of the other sub-forums
