"Holy crap! You can talk!" Cynthia screamed in surprise before squealling and hugging Steffon tightly. "That is so awesome! It's a talking dog!" She showered affection on the boy, hugging, petting and kissing him.

'That is not a dog Cynthia, he is Lycanthrope.' The shadowy entity said to her. 'And you are to stay with him until I have need of you.'

"Of course!" Cynthia said happily, squeezing Steffon tighter now that she knew he wasn't a dog.
"So where do you want to go puppy?" she asked, rubbing his ears in the process. "We can go pretty much anywhere."

Steffon shrugged his furry sholders,' What ever you want. I don't care.'

"Let's go to the mall!" Cynthia cried happily before vanishing with Steffon with her abilities.

((You know the nobody can leave here once captured right.))

Zeig sat in his cell and pondered a way out. He had hoped the Circe would come looking for him.

((Blessed post, not that it's necessary))

Everything seemed quite outside of the hidden complex. Since the last attempt to invade the facility had ended before it could even really begin security had not needed any revamping. And of course that would be to their disadvantage.
Leaning just out of the cameras radius the white man activated his headset. "So then, is everyone in position?" he asked cheerfully. It was almost impossible to hear the undercurrent of cold, murderous intent... but it was there.
"Ve are in position sir." Maksim Yvonivich stated, leader of the collected teams. The surly Russian was the human longest in the employ of the white man. Already Maksim was a soldier well into middle age and still going strong due to that same man, and he knew when his master was truly enjoying himself. This was one of those such times.
"Excellent." I'zale said with a flicker of his eyes. "Now... Dean was it? Yes Dean. Be a good lad and start the show, download the program."
The youngest member, Dean, gulped at the chilling voice of the man. He really had the least practical combat experience but he could still hear the tone of the white man. It was something he didn't understand, but feared. "Yes sir..." he replied, unleashing the tailored program into the installations security system.

Within the lab security suddenly went berserk. All applications began going on the fritz, even going so far as to work itself into the electrical system. The emergency teams all came down into standby, trying to find the source of the infection. It was by chance that one of the agents caught sight of a screen before it went blank.
"Intruders!" he shouted into the sound system, alerting all personnel of the attack. "At the underground entrance! Looks to be a demon and a group of heavily armed hunters! Security Team proceed to entrance 9!"
The men grabbed their weapons and ran to the doors. The team was excellent in their own right but they didn't know what to expect. Within less than an instant of opening the door five men found themselves with holes in their hearts from a exceedingly sharp blade.

"Let's advance men." I'zale said with a smile, swinging his blade as he stepped into the base. His strike force of elite men came in close oh his heels. At a leisurely stroll shots rang out with extreme accuracy. All of the exists were locked down by the virus and all the men for all of their training were absolutely no match for the trained elite soldiers and their brutal leader. Blood and screams reigned out and all the advanced weapons wielded by the men for use on the immortals were useless, after all their original designer knew how to disable them.
The captured immortals watched with a kind of terrified fascination. Not at the men fighting men, that was normal to any who had lived a long life. And yet the white man leading the soldiers was something else..
The attack was little more than precision slaughter. Lasting barely fifteen minutes before all government officials were dead. Shot or slashed to death, their weapons useless. In the control center the white man tapped a few keys and gained control of his own program, taking complete control of the system. "Things seem to have worked out properly." he said with a smile as he began downloading the programs of the government onto his own systems.
Smiling he tapped on the keys before taking hold of the now bloodstained microphone the young man had been yelling so enthusiastically into. "Ladies and Gentleman." he began, addressing all of the captives. "I thank you for putting up with this diversion. Now I've lighted all pathways to the exits. If you could please leave within the ten minutes it would be greatly appreciated." He flipped off microphone and addressed his men. "I believe we're done here. Set all of the incendiary devices in the areas I designated earlier and I believe we can be off." He listened to the scrambling of the different species as they escaped from what had seemed their eternal prison. "Give them a minute though.
"And sir. Vhat of the vounded?" Maksim queried, knowing the answer himself.
"Oh I'm sure you can find a way to end their suffering." I'zale said casually without needing to look up from his swift work.
As the men left about their tasks the elder Russian remained behind. "Sir, I have a question."
"Then state it Maksim." the white wolf responded with a grin, removing several completed disks and destroying the systems they were taken from. "You've always had an open floor where I'm concerned."
The squad leader straightened slightly even though the statement had meant for him to be at ease. "Sir. Never before in the case of survivors have you allowed any to live. Vhy have you let these vones go?"
"A rather mundane reason really." he said as he finished his work. "I simply want them to spread word of my deeds. It's a very long game Maksim, and it's extremely boring when the other players don't know you exist."

***

With all troops exiting the white wolf was last. He disliked the use of fire but there was never any arguments as to it's destructive potential. The complex was in ruins, burning above and below with all of the data and evidence eradicated.
"Gentlemen." I'zale said, addressing his team with a false air of pride. "A job well done. Let's return to the penthouse and have ourselves a little celebration while we wait for word to spread."
Laughter. This was fun part of the job for the men. Only the white man and his Russian commander remained silent as they left as stealthily as they had come, with only a little lingering amusement.

((exit in mass. Any remaining captives are free. The installation is ash, feel free to wander around it... though you won't find anything.))

Jaden arrived outside of the ruins with the girl clutched in his arms. The flames had died for the most part, smoke still continuing to roll from the complex. "Oh god... Wow..." Jaden said in awe. "You know I kind of remember being down here.... but it was never burning...." The muscles in his legs returned to normal but he didn't put down the wolf girl.

Though previously struggling, when Adolfina saw the horrible mess that had been made, she stared in great wonder.
"You remember this place? Why on earth were you down here?"
She was bewildered that people actually functioned in a place like this when she had no idea it existed to begin with.
"Who could've done this?" Adolfina asked, restoring to her senses enough to notice her companion wasn't releasing her.

(( you keep playing with me because my characters are interesting ))

Jaden pondered these things for a second before he remembered he was holding the girl. With his ears tilted back in embaracement he set her down on the ground covered in ash.
"Umm.... I'm not sure to either." he confessed, his bare feet blackening as he moved to look around at what was left on the outside. "I'm sure I should know it though."

((Not nearly as interesting as you seem to think mine are.. Sorry I've been MIA, work.))

A tiny cloud of ash puffed around Adolfina's feet as she stood up and stretched.
"Well if you don't have a reason, you shouldn't have a memory."
Her eyes scanned the blackened area uncomfortably. This was one unexpected venture she hadn't planned to make tonight.

"And yet I do." He said looking around. There was something wrong here and he couldn't put it down.
Crouching down onto all fours Jaden shifted and sniffed the charred air. His sense of smell was there, extremely advanced in its own right. And something was in the burned air. "There were men here... killing other men... and something very cold..."

Adolfina examined her companion quietly. He was so peculiar and extraordinary.
She inhaled deeply, and the tone of Jaden's voice sent shudders down Adolfina's spine.
"Cold..? What do you mean?"

"Cold." he stated again like it was obvious. "Like somebody put chemicals in the atmosphere before burning in and there are still cold spots. Don't you feel it?" He crawled over to her and rubbed the back of her neck in two places. "It's like right here... Sort of like a tingling."
PostPosted: Tue Jun 09, 2009 8:21 pm

"I got that," Adolfina huffed. "But that's a really..odd synopsis of the situation."
The shudders down her body quaked further at Jaden's touch and she shied away timidly.
"How do chemicals make a place cold? It sounds more like you're speaking of souls.."
Adolfina moved carefully around the wall, hoping to avoid contact with one of these "cold spots".

"I don't think it's dead though." he muttered, his ears flicking back in frustration. "I've got no idea what it is."
He suddenly slammed his skull into the ground, something surging through his mind as was not uncommon.
"GAH!"
