Merumiharu In case no one heard -MERU WINS PRESIDENCY MAP- CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PRESIDENCY, QUEEN MERU!~
@Nymphie - I still say. Whoever plays Nick Stokes on CSI totally looks like a McCain clone from when he was younger. The similarity scares me.

Nymphiedora Off topic kind of but whatever because this ENTIRE THREAD is off topic XD - Does anyone else get REALLY annoyed at the people who get REALLY annoyed when someone calls the US "America"? Because I've been hearing that alot lately and it seriously gets on my nerves. This is the United States of AMERICA. United States = What we are, America = Our actual name. I mean the Republic of Congo doesnt call themselves "The Republic." But people keep telling me "Canada and Mexico, and every country in South America are American too mad So the US shouldnt call itself America as if its the only country in this continent" and its like "So Canadians and Mexicans can be American, but people from the COUNTRY America can not?" I'm fine with everyone on these continents calling themselves Americans if they want to, but I think Americans should be allowed to call themselves Americans as well 3 To me American is defined in our national anthem "land of the free home of the brave." So if you feel that your country is also free and brave then feel free to call yourself American as well. Hell! We're all '******** Americans!' Fun drinking game by the way...
But seriously...
Americans are kinda seen as those good friends that make bad neighbors. You don't want to be stuck in line behind them at the bank, but if there's a bar fight you damn well want them on your side. Personally I'm sick of it. We need to go back to FDR's isolationism, and let everyone else sort out there own bar fights.
I'm glad Obama won. McCain wouldn't have been too bad if it had not been for Palin. Though it does worry me a bit that America apparently fired congress, and maybe they deserved to be fired, but now there's no right wing to help balance out the left wing (doesn't an eagle need two wings to fly?). I mean the democrats are practically filabuster- proof...Perhaps that'll be a good thing under Obama's leadership, and it will deffinately make things easier on him when he's trying to get new rules and regulations passed.
I'm just mad that issue 5 passed here in Ohio. People who don't understand an issue shouldn't vote on it. That's why when Brooke Hogan did her whole "Teehee, I'm not going to vote." thing I was like "good for you! Thank you for being responsible enough to know that you may not have the wit to decide which is the lesser of two evils."
