Fine, then I'll own the left side.
Y'know, I just realized something.....I'm crew so if I really wanted to I could delete your posts and own the right side. Then again, that's probably more work than I'm willing to put into it, not to mention I'm actually in a good mood (despite my mom being a ******** b***h and flipping on me and nagging about, yet again, nothing) so I wouldn't be that mean anyway.

You could do that but then it'd be a hollow victory. And if someone else posts after me...I win!...I think. XD (ewww...I totally remember my dad flipping out on me...one time I got ordered to know how to do something.)

You're both right, but that's ok because I grew bored of that game. ^_^ Gotta love short attention spans.
And yes, I've had to deal with parental insanity like that as well. But the one sided fight she was having with me was about me being unappreciative because I didn't call someone about paying them back....even though they were supposed to call me about how much it ended up being. I had the money and was going to pay this person back yesterday (which my mom ended up doing for me since she had the van and was going out) but she stilled yelled at me for not calling the day before. It was completely rediculous, which I think she realized since she came back home and was being all nice to me. Ugh, parents are freaking stupid, I tell you. That's it, I'm never having kids. I don't want them to take my intelligence.

OH TEH NOES!!! MAH SIDE! XD
Yeah...I was trimming a Christmas tree. I didn't want to. I didn't even want a tree they drug me out to go get it. Then when we got back I went to go take a nap before work and they woke me up and told me to trim the tree. Apparently no one else would do it so that had to wake me up to. So while I'm doing it (apparently I'm doing it wrong) my dad says "Sifa, KNOW how to do this."

*Divetackles Alex into the dirt then stands up and walks off* ^_^
Yeah, that's pretty lame, Sifa. On their part, not yours. I was the only one home for Christmas and my mom tried to make me go get the decorations from the attic so we could decorate. I told her I wasn't doing it since they weren't where she said they would be (I had gone to get them a few weeks before with no success) and I wasn't rooting through the boxes of my s**t just to find Christmas decorations to decorate the house for a holiday I wasn't even planning on celebrating. I was going to be the only one home and I just didn't care for decorations to begin with (yes I was being a Scrouge) and in the end I mostly won. I got her the tiniest box (since it was the only one I could find) and only did that so she could give a couple of the decorations as a gift for a party she was going to. XD Being a stubborn b***h rocks!

You know what I have to say to you Alex? Chocobo X Tifa rule 34 *flees* (if you don't get that last part you are lucky...)
Oh god I know. My dad is also the only reason I ended up moving out. I was just working but he really wanted me to go to school. So he says "Sifa you either have to go to school or move out. You aren't going to end up like your cousin Mike!" Ok first off...the original requisite for me to still live at home was just be a job. It suddenly changed that day. Second my cousin my is THIRTY-FREAKING-TWO and still lives with his mom AND HE DOESN'T HAVE A JOB. The next day I went over to my current roommate's house and he was sick of his parents Bull shinanagins so he offered to move out. I told my dad when I got home and he said, "That wasn't supposed to make you move out. It was supposed to scare you into going to school." It took ALLLLLL my will power to not say "Well that sucks for you now doesn't it."

Oh I know what you mean. My mom's rule has been that my brother (who is two year older than me) and I are allowed to live at home for free so long as we are working or in school. Well, I'm waiting to do auditions for university and currently no matter how hard I'm trying I can't get a job. So my mom, being the b***h she can be, says to me, "As of March 1st you need to start paying rent since you're not in school or working." It took all I had not to point out that a) this was not an issue when I told her I'd be taking the year off from school so I could earn money; b) I can't pay rent when I'm not making any freaking money and; c) I can't be in school right now since I have to do auditions. Oh, and let's not forget the fact that she's living in someone else's house for free....so technically I should only be paying rent if he decides so, not her. But, not being in the mood to further fight, I just ignored her as usual and let it fall away. If she demands rent I'm just going to give her nothing. What's the worst she'll do, threaten to kick me out? I know she'd never follow through with it.

lol. My dad wouldn't follow through with it but I know my mom would. And if I weren't actively looking for a job I think they'd be in the right to kick me out...but then again if I were actually looking for a job then what hell else can I do right?

I've had a job.... for 3 and a half years now....... I hate my job........................................ but hey, I also have to love it, because it gives me the right to say "F*#% you world! I'll do whatever the hell I want to!" And I get to live with my GF! So I'd say, that despite my misery at work, it's worth it.
Terribly sorry to hear about the no luck on the job hunting heavens. I don't really have any advice though.... I've had this same job since I was 16. I've only ever had this job. And, even though my father didn't help me to get directly, his last name being the same as mine sorta got me the job without trying. (He works with the same company.... only way higher up.)

It's all good, Alex, I honestly can't say why I'm having such a hard time. I've had a ton of jobs and interviews I have go well. But, for one reason or another, I'm not what these people are apparently looking for. I know part of the hinderance is the fact that I'm working on going to university, but I can't exactly hide that from them. Anywho, I'm just gonna suck it up and start applying for part time s**t that I KNOW I don't want to do but can easily get into.
