Dameon was a litle surprised at the mention, "Hm, I never realized it. It never really occured that I could have come off that way, of course, I can't say I examine my actions all that thoroughly." He grinned, "Don't worry, I promise I won't kill you." As he said it he let out a half chuckle ensuring his joking intent.

*Trent sputtered and coughed as the water splashed down on his face. It was quite the rude awakening, yet the water felt cool and refreshing. It washed the dust from the mountains off his face and restored enough of his strength for him to bolt upright.*
:cough cough: "Gah! Karin!"
*Spitting water from his mouth, he stands up. Seeing that they are at the Oasis he relaxes. He shakes the water from his hair and smiles as his skin tingles from the water's restorative properties.*
"Well I'm glad I slept through the traveling part, but how did we get here Karin?"

*Karin frowned at Trent.*
"I carried you heavy butt here. You are going to start training as soon as your healed. You're heavy!"
*Karin laughed. She wasn't the strongest girl you'd ever meet, but she could hold her own against most people her age.*

*Trent smiled at her, she was much stronger than he had thought if she could carry him here from the mountains.*
"Well, I'm impressed to say the least Karin, thank you."
*Trent walked towards her as if to give her a hug, but instead pushes her into the water.*

Justice laughed. "I don't think I was ever concerned about that, but it's nice to hear you say it." She said, looking over at the oasis water. "But, I guess I was different then, too..." She said, more seriously.

After everyone was within the clearing of the oasis Contay turned to the trees, asking their assistance and forming a light barrier to alarm them of any intrusion (including an eavesdropper). She escorted Sirence to the oasis's edge and helped him sit before she looked around, searching for someone.

*Sirence took the asistance though not happily. He was rather disgrungtly by the whole venture which he still didn't understand. He was pleased when Contay stopped 'babying' him (in his eyes) and he helped himself to a few mouth fulls of the cool clear water before him.

Once she saw that Sirence could take care of himself from here she stood up behind him and looked out across the water's surface for a long moment. Contay suddenly returned to her own mind, a hard, consealed look came across her face and she walked toward where Trent and Karin were 'playing.' Oh how she missed the days when she could play like that with her siblings, and oh how she hated to interrupt it...
"Excuse me... I would like to speak with you if you can spare a moment..." Contay's words were directed at Trent.

"Aw you got a lucky break Trent! I'll get you later! You better sleep with one eye open!"
*Karin climbed out of the water with a huge grin on her face. She had missed the times like these with her brother and were glad that they could be together again.*

*Making a childish sneer, he stuck his tongue out at Karin and turned to face Contay.*

"This is private enough." A smile broke Contay's serious face into a million tiny pieces. "Firstly I would like to thank you. You saved me a lot of trouble, you and Raedra. Sirence is very important to me and in my eyes, you returned him to me. Thank you. Secondly, I would like to thank you more appropriately, however my home, the city, has a wall keeping it closed and safe. If you would return to the city with us once it is safe again, I would appreciate it. And there you will be rewarded. Third, to have brought Sirence back to me you must be very powerful and at least a little talented. I don't know if Dameon has told you of our problem but I would like to ask your assistance. On behalf of this world, her Queen and yes, even Draco, would you two please help us to be rid of Calibar once again?..." Contay waited for her words to sink in and braced herself for any questions to come.

*Trent wipes his brow mockingly.* "Whew..."
"Let me get this straight though...." *Trent takes a deep breath.* "I'm awesome, even if it's just little bit. You guys want my help getting rid of Cali-whoever." ~Calibar.~ "Right, Calibar. And afterwards we have a big party in your city, and I'm helping your Queen and Draco? Who's Drac..." ~Dranchorius. The Dragon whom I loved.~ "Nevermind, I know who your talking about."
*Trent let himself breath again. He thought for a moment, or maybe half a moment, but his answer came easy.*
"Sure, parties are fun."

"You do understand that you may die and not get- no that's not right. If you die I'll still throw you a party. I suppose it's just a win-win for you! Then you'll help us? I am pleased to hear it." Contay laughed on the inside while she wondered how such a foolish young boy had won a one-on-one fight with her Sirence. Then again it wasn't a one-on-one fight, he had Raedra, the dragon queen to help... She smiled at Trent. "What's your name again? ... I'm Contay Vona, sister of fire, heir- never mind, it's not important."

*Trent smirked. Royalty was way to formal, he new his formalities, but preferred to ignore them.*
"I'm glad that I could be of so much help to all of you, but I am only doing what I feel is right. Death in battle is a high honor to my people, and Karin will be able to carry on our clan name. I offer you all the skills and techniques of my clan."
*Trent bowed, showing his respect and truthfulness in his offer.*
"And you can ask Dameon, when I make a promise, it is not broken."
*Trent ran his hand through his fiery hair, tousling it left and right.*
"And that, is the last of the formalities until I meet the Queen. No buts."

Contay laughed at his distaste for the formalities. She had hoped to learn more about him threw them but the little she knew was enough for now. "I'll speak to you later then." Contay gave him a small bow before turning and strolling off toward Dameon. She glanced back once to make sure Sirence was still well.
