"Okay. Naiads, huh? That's neat. I think my sister adopted one. I've never met her or any of them." She hadn't or at least she didn't think she had. Kaelia was sure she would remember meeting one though.

Yes. His siblings were definitely interesting. There were words for Aysu and Zuri Seabrook, words which he was going to keep to himself. "They are certainly interesting. They can also help when it comes to exploring the waters; after all, I'm pretty sure no other Pae'il race can successfully breathe underwater." Of course, the Guardians could be hiding something. It wouldn't surprise Magnus.

"Perhaps you would like to meet them at some occassion." Of course, Magnus wasn't promising anything. He simply suggested the idea, without saying he would follow it up with the actual occassion he had suggested.

"Okay sure, I'd love to sometime." Kaelia wasn't sure when "sometime" would be but that was okay with her. It was still a nice offer even if it didn't happen. This was just a first date after all. There might not be another one.

It was hard to tell anything with Magnus being the other person in this first date ordeal. "Perfect." Or not. Still, he did just imply sometime, which could be never, and Kaelia said sometime too. Good. This was going perfectly as planned. She thought there was a chance for a second date! Then again...

In the distance, Magnus could spot his home. In some ways, the fae of intoxication was relieved. He could get rid of her and mull over the strange information he had learned today. At the same time, though, it was saddening that his game of leading Kaelia on and being a charmer was almost over. It was rather fun...

Kaelia saw something coming up. "Is that it?" she asked with a nod. It was too bad it was almost over, but then again it was getting late. Hula Bob would be waiting for her to hear all about it and so would Luau LuLu. She shook her head at the thought.

"Yes, that's it." Magnus couldn't help wondering how long it would take for Texas to realize that the fae Pae'il had already gone home. He snickered at the thought while strolling next to Kaelia with the picnic basket in his hand. Thought, perhaps he should have left a mess. That would have been even more funny.

It didn't particularly matter now, though. "It appears that most of my family is in the living room." Only two windows of the two-floored house looked lit up. They were both on the first floor and both were in the same corner of the house, so it was to be assumed that everyone in the house was in the same set of rooms. "That will probably make it much easier for us to slip in undetected, and for you to leave undetected." Being bombarded was an unnecessary nuisance.

Kaelia looked at Magnus for a moment. Sneak in and out? she thought. "Okay, sure whatever." She wasn't sure why he needed her to sneak in and out. She was just saying goodbye after all.

Perhaps that was the wrong thing to say. Magnus didn't let the nervousness enter his voice as he added, "Because I don't want you to get bombarded by my siblings barrage of questions, of course. Aysu and Zuri may have far too many questions, especially at such a time of day." And, to be totally frank, it sounded like Magnus would rather not deal with them for what may have been a good reason. 'Bombarded' was a pretty strong term, after all. ...Of course, he could have always been exaggerating.

"If it is decently quiet, they will not come with their questions." That and it was a good excuse to drop off their stuff and go back outside, but Magnus wasn't saying that part. It would be easier to bid her farewell if there were not any pesky naiads or fae around. Whether he cared for Kaelia was another story, but either way he would rather not deal with his kin.

"Oh, I see. Yeah, meeting them all tonight would be...a lot." Kaelia smiled and nodded back at Magnus. At least is wasn't something else. Not she wouldn't be okay with meeting them, but it was a first date. Luau LuLu had told her about dating and meeting family didn't normally happen that fast.

It would definitely be far more than Magnus would wish to deal with at the moment. Far, far more. At least she seemed to understand once he explained himself. "Excellent." He stopped in front of the door to his home before turning around to face Kaelia. "Well, this is my home. Let's go in and drop off this picnic stuff."

And quickly. Magnus grabbed a key out of the picnic basket and unlocked the door, slipping in silently. He didn't bother to turn on the light, tiptoeing over to a nearby counter. Then, he began in the other direction from where he came, determined to leave without notice.

"It's nice." Kaelia nodded. She watched him go inside and wasn't sure if he wanted her too as well. Instead she just waited for him to come back out. It was better then trying to be quite and stuff.

Magnus didn't particularly mind. He could take the blanket that she was carrying on her when he came out of the house... which he did. He kindly took the blanket from her and then offered a small grin. "I suppose this is when we bid each other goodbye." He was a bit tired of talking so formally; in a way, getting off this date would be nice. He could finally talk like a normal person.

But what did someone do at the end of a date? Criofan said people kissed, Texas just said they said goodbye, Aysu suggested there were no goodbyes; really, they were all very confusing and Magnus just wanted a single answer to everything. Well, perhaps Kaelia would know the answer to such things, since she was the woman here. Apparently, they knew these things better...

Kaelia nodded. "Yes, I guess you are right." She smiled warmly towards Magnus. She knew about as well as he did what to do. So, so she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "If you ever want to do this again or something sometime I'll be at my dad's." With that she began to walk away.

Briefly, his logic left him as he gained a rather odd grin on his face. She kissed him on the cheek! He must have done something right. The fae would have done a victory dance right then and there at his information gathering combined with charm working perfectly, but she was still there. He still had some restraint... kind of.

When his brain returned to his head, Magnus realized something. Her father lived at the Tiki Bar which Texas liked to go to. Hm, Magnus should have thought of that a little more carefully. There may have been no way to completely avoid her if he wished. No matter. "Alright. Have a good night, Kaelia." And with that, he turned around and headed inside his house.
