Star walked out of her room and heard the sounds of battle. She walked into the entry way and spotted Adrain her father. "Is anyone winning or are they still equal?"

"It appears," Adrian said, not looking back, "that Gordon is winning... The necromancer's attacks are meant for killing the living, not attacking the dead... Gordon, however, is using explosives from over the sea. Their next battle won't happen a day after this, but still, the next one will be far more exciting... Ulric won't take a defeat lightly..."

Luna watches the fight, and continues to laugh more, and accidentally falls out of the tree. Luna holds her breath, hoping they didn't see her. I wish I was invisible...just not here..

Lilium scratched behind her ear with her hind leg then yawned. She lived as a paranormal creature everyday, so watching them fight was not as entertaining to her as it must have been for the villagers. "Foolish humans could waste a fortune betting on which side will eventually win... The soldiers can never be defeated completely as they can be resurrected the next evening... I would place my bet on which one of the humans will expire first." She tilted her head comically. "I bet the young one... the young one will die first... he doesn't have the stink of an immortal." Of course, Lilium said this all to herself. She lived and travelled alone so she was very accustomed to talking to herself as well.

Grey wandered down to a lower floor for a better view. He yawned as he stared out at the battle. No sleep for me, I guess...

"Well I'm off to hunt." Star said as she walked out into the night. She looked around the village and spotted alone villager. She crep up behind the human and bit into his neck. She drank her fill but did not kill him. She wiped his memory and headed toward the battle ground to watch the outcome. She spotted Luna under a tree and walked over to her. "Why are you under a tree, Luna?"

Luna noticed that Gordon and Ulric were so distracted by each other, they didn't even notice her. Luna begins to stand up, then jumped, falling onto her butt. "Oh..Uhh..To watch them.." She points to the feud, then looks back at her oldest sister, Star.

"Ha! you'll never win! You don't have magic!"
"Anything magic can do can be duplicated by science!"
"Lies! You won't find immortality! Summon the souls of the nether!"
"Maybe I will! You can't see the future!"
"Well, you can't either, and... Wait... when did the zombies wheel out cannons?"
"When you were bragging about living forever..."
"You! I'll- No, wait, even better..." Ulric snapped his fingers, and from the ground rose warriors thast were much more heavily armed than any combatant so far... with the exception of the cannon zombies. The dead warriors were covered in black armor, their eyes glowed red.
"What are those?!"
"What, never seen undead warriors before?"
"I thought the skeletons were-"
"Skeletons are grunts! warriors are the real soldiers!"

~Fortune Nicholas seemed not to move as he watched the far-off activity. Then his eye twitched as he heard fighting, thunder, explosions, and howling. Howling?The mercenary stood in place - before realizing there was activity next door. Two figures sat under a tree, watching the proceeding battle. Nicholas sank into the shadow cast by the balcony overhead, listening in to the two's conversation. How idly, if even somewhat disinterested, they spoke - it made Nicholas' neck hairs stand on end.

"Damn you scientist!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Kaboom!
"TAKE THIS!" ZOT!
"You! I'll-" Blam!
"Ah!" The necromancer stumbled back, falling onto the ground. the combatants froze suddenly. The scientist stepped forward, "I didn't shoot you!"
"Well, something did! and you're the only man with a gun!"
"Shrapnel!"
"Likely story!" shot back a response. the combatants then resumed their battle.
(the hunters are being hunted, girls...)

Star had the strangest filling she was being watched so she looke around. She glances toward the mayor's balcony and stares at it not sure if someone is there. I wonder if anyone is around the balcony she thought to herself. She looked at the shadows but saw nothing but sinced someone was near watching.

Grey's eyes widened as he saw the cannons and armoured fighters. Does it get this serious every night? he wondered to himself.

((Note: Nicholas is under the balcony's shadow, not on it. Dunno if you knew that.)) ~Fortune As soon as his quarry turned to look around, Nicholas received the urge to pull his head back quickly into the shadows. However, he held control of his reflexes and slowly pulled his head around the corner, staying in the shadows and resisting the urge for sudden movement. The sounds of fighting were becoming quite hectic, to describe it mildly.

Star stood up and slowly walked toward the mayor's house searching the shadows as she moved. She stopped about ten feet from the house and searched the shadows. She called out, "If someone is there show yourself and explain why you are watching me." She waited for an answer not sure if there was anyone really there.
