She tried to rationalize it, but in her mind the dark realization that he was right was overbearing. Goosie met his gaze, chewing a bit on her lip and then looking away.

'But...they wouldn't attack someone they care about, would they?'

Goosie stared off to the side, lost in thought as he lay back down. Her mind was racing. They couldn't really resort to killing, that wasn't like them...but then when Sam had needed help, after the battle, they had let her die. Now that Bristan probably wanted nothing to do with her, would he turn on her for what she was?

The girl, felt a pang of unease in her heart, her worried mind now far from sleeping. As time went on she eventually settled down on her side of the nest, closing her eyes and trying to drift off.

Goosie fidgeted, greeted in the dawn by a particularly cool breeze. She curled tighter, screwing up her eyes before abruptly opening them and scanning her line of vision. The disheveled blonde lifted her head and then slipped out from under the mossy insulation, rubbing her eyes as she sat up. After gathering her clouded thoughts for a short while, and grabbing another couple bites of fruit, Goosie determined that this particular breakfast was no longer good in the least pleasant means possible.

Gagging, the girl scrambled haphazardly out of the nest (sending bits of it flying in the process) and toward the mouth of the cave. She came to a halt at the edge of the rocks, spitting out a mouthful and then groaning. 'Gross.' Goosie muttered thickly. The wind whipped her hair about and she took her first proper look around, groaning a little at the height. After tossing the ruined fruit away, she ducked back against the rock walls of the cavern and shivered, staring out at the skyline. At least Zack was even less likely to find this, but she couldn't help missing the creature comforts of the Izon's, or even the Craft's; screaming baby and all.

When enough time had passed, the blonde, overcome with cold and sleepiness once more, had put the information on Orange down and curled up under the cover of the nest again.

Goosie had been sleeping fitfully, curled up underneath some of the nesting material. After a short while she stirred and opened her eyes. Lifting her head, she furrowed her brow, yawned, and looked up at Koth.

'Um, 'morning.' The girl croaked, pushing herself to sit up and rubbing her eyes.

'U-um, okay I guess. On and off...how about you?' Goosie asked, peeling the insulation she'd been using for a blanket off and pushing it back toward the side of the nest.

'Let's um, hope you never have to?' Goosie asked, smoothing down her clothes and then standing up to stretch.

She lowered her arms and looked down, seeing the folder she'd been poring over before and slumping back into a sitting position to open it up another time.

'You already know what this is,' Goosie said absently, turning a page, 'but for the millionth time, it's the information on Orange. The chemical he...used on me. To make me forget.'
