Cory looked at her,"yeah?" he asked her as he let go of the hug he had given her. It sounded like she had something important to say by the way her voice was. "Somthing the matter?"

Rebecca let go and smiled softly at him. "oh nothing I just remembered something from a movie I saw once. It said things happen in life that you can't stop but thats no reason to shut out the world. thats basicly how I feel when I talk to you...Like I don't have to shut you out..like I just met youand I already trust you with my voice." She said with a small chuckle.

"ah... well that's a good thing to remember. haha. yeah?" he said surprised that she did trust him. "Well it's an honor that you trust me then." Cory said and smiled to her. Nothing was really happening with any of the others when he had looked around earlier, and there still wasn't anything. What a big surprise he thought to himself and laughed a little.

Rebecca smiled at him. "yup." She said as she then looked around the the rest of the people there. "So umm what are you doing later today? wanna maybe hang out or something?" She asked softly.

"I'm not really doin' anything later. So sure if you want to I'm all good with it." Cory said to her and smiled. It seemed like he had made a new friend, it made him happy and felt like the void that had been missing for the longest time was starting to be filled.

"Sweet!" Rebecca said as she put her hair behind her ears. She then pulled out a pack of gum from her pocket. "Do you want a piece?" She asked handing him a stick of gum after she put one in her own mouth.

Cory chuckled a little and smiled. "Sure. Thank you." he said as he took the gum from her and popped it in his own mouth. "So is there something you wanted to go do?" he paused,"or is it a sort of just go out and do whatever thing?"

"ok. That works I guess." he said then an idea popped into his head. "You know what... do you just want to go now?" he asked her pausing a moment,"I mean... there's not really anything going on... and the malls open... or I'm sure there's something going on in the park too..." Cory said to her suggesting different places around town.

"um...anywhere works." She said with a small giggle. She then stood up and pulled the hood onto her head.

Cory stood up with her, a moment afterward he offered her his hand. "ok well... then let's just go where our feet lead us. sound good?" he asked and smiled back to her. Though only knowing her for a short time Cory felt like he had known her his whole life for some reason. He thought it interesting that he felt like that with her. It hadn't happened in the longest time... not since samantha at least.

Tiffany looked around at everyone, who all seemed to have better places to be than in this gym, talking to the principal, and wished that she had come into school earlier, so she could have been able to get to know someone. She knew no one, because she had only lived in town for a few weeks.
She felt almost sick to her stomach once again as she began to think about that day, four weeks ago, which seemed like just yesterday. The last thing she wanted to do was go to school, let alone one where they had to spill their guts about love ones lost. She had half a mind to follow a couple of the students who she overheard saying something about a mall. She stood up and followed a few paces behind them, giving the principal a slight nod when he eyed her.

Rebecca closed her mouth. "Time to keep quiet again." She whispered as she put a smile on then wrote on the pad of paper "Hi I'm Rebecca" She flashed her the pad then put it away.
