Higoi nodded encouragingly at Bingly, smiling widely.
"Please," she murmured. "I don't know how to open it myself ..."
Maybe while they were exploring she might find something to use to pry it open - or crack it open, whichever was easier.

Bingly curled his tentacle under him and there was a loud crack and a couple more. After each crack or two Bingly would bring back a cracked shell that would allow the soft insides allowing everyone to get at it.
Bennet smiles, "Thank you dear Bingly your so cool!" he laughed softly and hugged the squishy octopus.

Higoi was greatly impressed by Bingly's talent, and she made no effort to hide it.
"Wow," she smiled brightly, her eyes shining in admiration. "Bingly, you're so strong ... that's amazing! And you didn't even need a rock or anything!"

Bingly turned a deeper red at her prasie. He was so taken back at her reaction. He lifted up his front tentacles to show her his beak.
Bennet smiles and giggles taking some open crab for himself and then set some down for Higoi. "Bingly is awesome...that is why he always gets the food!" he giggled more.

Higoi turned her head sideways so that she could get a better look at Bingly's beak.
"Hey, that's really cool!" she beamed. "Is that how you eat and everything? That's cool ..."
As Bennet put down some food for her, she giggled and reached for it. "Thank you!" she said brightly. "Yes, Bingly really is awesome. I bet he can do anything at all!"

Bennet smiled, "As long as his beak can fit then yes!" he laughed and watched as Bingly took some crab under to feed himself.
Higoi was really cool, she was all tomboyish. She was really really cool.He slurped up some crab and giggled.

Higoi giggled and watched Bennet. He was so much fun - always had something fun to say or do ... she couldn't imagine not having him around again. Going back to her old life, being alone all of the time? Never. She couldn't do it. She could never leave her new friends.
"And here I go!" she giggled, picking up her bit of crab. She sniffed at it for a second, then licked her lips and popped it into her mouth and began to chew slowly, thoughtfully.

Bennet smiled and watches her, "How is it Higoi? I like it though you can get a bad crab every now and then but this one is really tasty!" he smiled hopping she liked it.
Bingly move open grab the oyster ready to open it for Higoi to try. He knew that Bennet didn't like them but maybe Higoi would.

Higoi continued to chew slowly, until at long last there was nothing left to chew, and then she swallowed.
"It's not bad," she murmured, "but I think ... I think I like fish better."
She looked at Bingly. "What's next to try?" she asked, hoping he hadn't taken it personally that she didn't particularly like the crab.

Bingly held out the now open oyster. He offered it to Higoi.
Bennet shuddered, "i don't like those at all, but don't make the same mistake I did...don't chew it...just swallow it. Chewing it makes it nastey."
He shivered again. "It was so gross!"

Higoi blinked at Bennet. "Really?" she asked softly. She looked back down at the oyster dubiously. "Oh ..."
Maybe she shouldn't try it then ... But she had said that she would try everything, so she opened her mouth and popped the oyster inside.
A moment later, she blinked in surprise. "Oh ..." she murmured again, this time with a slow smile. "It's .... it's not bad ... it's pretty good, actually!"

Bennet looked shocked, "really? I don't like them at all...but I do love crab!" he giggled. "maybe Bingly has some more oysters...oh look at the shells they are so pretty!"
He took half the shell and smiled. "Is this what you were looking for?"

Higoi nodded brightly. "That's exactly it!" she beamed. "And if we can collect enough of them we can make a real pretty area here, and then when the sun shines in the water they will sparkle and make little rainbows in the water!"

"Oh that sounds wonderful! Bingly after you eat could you please get us some more Oyster shells or Oysters...I am sure Higoi would not mind eating them." he laughed. "Maybe you can just show us where they are Bingly then we can collect lots of shells to make our own rainbow!"

Higoi blushed deeply. "Oh, it's all right," she murmured, a little flustered by Bennet's unabashed enthusiasm. "I thought we would just look around for them while we were exploring ... and I can't eat a whole lot, my tummy gets full really fast ..."
Besides, it wasn't fair if they would make Bingly do all of the work - and it would be more fun if they all did it together.
