As everyone finished up eating, the doors opened, and a maid walked in pushing a lady on a wheelchair. She took a position at the head of the table. The maid bowed and announced, "Presenting the Lady." The Lady nodded and smiled. "Thank you." She looked around at everyone. "Welcome. You have all been called here because you internally have the courage to take action with passion. Why? Well, you might have noticed many disturbances and strange events happening on your worlds. The universe is breaking down, and you must save the it, though the choice is up to you." The Lady suddenly broke into a fit of coughs, and the maid quickly gave her some water. It was evident that she was not in good health. After coughing and drinking water, the Lady paused, waiting for responses.

Hope was stunned. She didn't know what to say. To question the truth of what the Lady told them never occurred to her, there was something that reached down into her gut and assured her that it was so.
Staring at the Lady with her mouth hanging open she finally realized and thought to close it. Then she thought to see how the others were taking it. They seemed as shocked as she was. Certainly none of them had yet spoken though the pause had been great.
Almost whispering, half hoping the Lady wouldn't hear, she said, "What can we do?" While visions of the enormous scale the Lady was referring to refused to find comprehension in her brain.

"Well hello Lady." Cyler was quite surprised by the actual fisiuqe and condition of the strange being that brought them here. "I assume you had a reason for bringing us here." He lifted his nose as his sense of smell finally started to pick up emmotions that may have been hidden deep by his friends and the newcomers. "I can smell that we all have have awaited your appearence." He wasnt really sure about this but he just had to say something that sounded like he was tired of wiating for her. "we all have some questions for you but first since youve treated us to food I guess we can hear your story first. Am I right guys." Cyler looked to everyone sitting around the table.

The meal had been interesting, to say the least. Mishaweha stared with great interest at the food of her neighbor, the small pale human. The colors of the dishes were fascinating, and only after she realized she was staring did Mishaweha turn back to her own food. She busied by eating, not wanting to draw any more attention to herself by staring at the others. While none of the humans had attacked yet, it was best if she didn't set any of them off by 'looking at them funny.'
She had just finished her meal when a maid walked in, pushing a chair on wheels. It was no surprise when their new arrival was announced as 'The Lady'. She carried a certain air about her, one of power, trust. Mishaweha set down her utensils and listened to The Lady's short speech.
"The earthquakes!" was Mishaweha's immediate thought. It would explain the recent unrest too, felt by the spirits of the world. But the entire universe? Breaking? The thought of the entire plain of existence breaking was staggering, never mind the assumption that somehow she was supposed to help save it.
Her initial surprise (shock?) was broken by a small whisper, only audible for the lack of other sounds. "What can we do?" one of their number breathed. Cyler followed up with his own statements ("Do humans always scent such things?" the Tauren wondered to herself.) And then she decided to speak as well.
"What can we do indeed?" she murmured, repeating the woman's question in her low but full voice. "But perhaps we should know the answers to why it is breaking, or how it can be fixed? Why do you need our help, if you were powerful enough to bring us here?" Her voice became louder as she spoke, directing her attention to The Lady. Mishaweha inclined her head to The Lady, as a sign of respect. She doubted that The Lady would tell 'her story' first, but the parts that they would need to know would surely be included in their questions.

Jade blinked. WHAT?!! she screamed in her head. How does a universe break? How does it even work? The whole idea was beyond Jade's knowledge. What could you expect from someone who was happy being on her own world with disturbances now and then from vampires? Even then, she and her friends together took the enemy down. This was different. She didn't really know any of the people/things/whatever everyone was. "This is random," Jade finally muttered under her breath. She wholeheartedly agreed with everyone else. Yeah, what are we supposed to do?

Nerissa listened to the Lady carefully, observing her meanwhile. Her expression was calm, and devoid of any form of surprise. She appeared to be deep in thoughts, although she was also listening to those around her. After the person sitting next to her, the Tauren, had spoken, and after Jade had muttered something that Nerissa was not able to hear, she finally decided to speak. She placed her hands onto the table, one over the other, and tilted her head slightly, as if still deep in thought.
"In my world, everything that is a part of nature has a spirit." she started; her brow furrowed slightly; she was staring at her hands unblinkingly, although hypnotized. Her voice was lower than normal, and she was speaking quietly. "If the spirit of a river dies, the river dries up. If the spirit of a tree dies, that three withers. I do not know whether my thoughts are correct or not," she said slowly, "but..if the spirit of the universe is ill, then the universe is also in danger." When she stopped speaking, she raised her eyes slowly, looking at the Lady with curiosity in order to see her reaction.

When The Lady had broken out into a cough Jonathan tilted his head to the side and raised an eyebrow, much like he did when he was aiming his gun at Hope when he first arrived there. His head then poped back into place and he began to think of what was just said.
"The universe is breaking down......" Jonathan repeated to himself. He imagined the universe breaking down bit by bit into white colored nothingness. Normally he'd want proof of this, but there was no need this time. One of her lines had fit perfectly, almost too perfectly for Jonathan's liking, things were getting out of hand in his world.
Even as everyone sat there in The Lady's pressence, two giant wars were taking place on his planet. One of them started over what Jonathan thought was the dumbest excuse ever. Crime rates and influation rates were raising very quickly. Machinery was malfunctioning more offten, and out of all of these the most noteable changes were the very sudden changes in climate and weather. It was because of that last reason that he fell out of his heli-copter in the first place. ".....and my world is going to hell......." He mummer below his breath.
A thought dawned upon him there. If The Lady hadn't teleported him to this place, then he could be dead right now. There was no way Jonathan could have survived a fall from the altitude his heli-copter was at. The Lady had saved him, weather she knew it or not.
Jonathan listened to the statements of the others around the table. Most of them were repeating the same question over, what can we do? He could sympathize for them though, he himself wanted that question too.
"Well whatever the cause, someone has to do something, and the only reason we're even here is probaly because she can't do anything about it herself." Jonathan explained to the other guests and pointed at The Lady from his position on his chair. "Judging from her coughing, I think it's safe to say that she's in a pretty poor condition right now, but i have to wonder, if your so sick." He said now speaking to the The Lady directly. "Then how did you get all of us here in the first place? That also leads to the question already asked. What are we supposed to do about it?" It seemed Jonathan had thought of alot in the short time between the Lady's statements and the other guests questions.

The Lady smiled faintly in reply to the questions presented. "Yes, the universe shows signs of breaking when it is in danger of collapsing." She sighed. "You were brought here by magic, chosen because you have some quality that is necessary to save the world." She coughed again and the maid quickly gave her some water to drink. No one had asked yet where they were, but they were probably shocked at what she was telling them.
"How to save the world is more easier said than done. It is written in a prophecy that when the universe starts decaying, to save it, a certain group of people must find artifact pieces that when combined will have the power to heal the universe's wounds." The Lady paused again. Maybe it was better for them to rest and take some time to absorb the information before telling them more. "Perhaps, it is best to stop here for today since this may be a little daunting at first."

Mishalu (Mishi) retained her good posture and unemotional face. She absorbed the information well. She knew there was more to it than that but she would wait patiently. The only time Mishi was even the slightest bit different was when the woman coughed in which case her eyes softened slightly. Mishi wasn't a bad person, but she had a VERY rough exterior sometimes.

Mishaweha carefully listend to The Lady's speech. It seemed to only answer a few of their questions but... The Lady did not seem she was up for a long talk.
The mention of magic did not surprise Misha. How else would she have been whisked away so suddenly? Understand those speaking now? And it would seem that The Lady had called them here, even with being weak.
"Of course, we would be the certain group," the Tauren thought wryly. Is that why they were asked such questions on their magical tour? Had there been others who she summoned and then found not worthy? Or did she know that they were the ones? These questions bustled about in her mind a moment, before she spoke.
"Yes. I find this overwelming, and I would guess the others are as well," she said softly, gesturing next to her, and hoping that she was speaking for the others. "Perhaps we may spend some time to introduce ourselves, and save planning for a later time." After all, the universe had held for this long- another day couldn't hurt. She hoped.

((Yay! Amarella and Panpear! Whee! I thought it died too because no one had posted for a while (aka much slower than what I meant by slow..), so i just wanted to check if people were going to continue it.
I think out of laziness, we'll just have the first world be Earth.
Articx, sure, go ahead! But it might be a little before the RP gets started again since I'm waiting to see if the current RPers are going to continue. ))
