Kyoki comes in after her shopping trip and sets her bags down on the counter. "There. This should hold Miss Usagi over for the next few days of cooking!" In the bags are an assortment of fresh veggies and fruits, meats and fish, nuts, and various spices and mixes for things like gravy, boullion, Kool-aid, salad dressing, and other deliciousnesses. Also included is a brand new wok, for making anything that needs flash or stirfrying.

Why, thank you very much! With this hungry crowd, supplies get used up rather quickly!

Though you don't call any more I sit and wait... in vain. I guess I'll rap on your door Tap on your window pane
I wanna tell you baby, changes that I'm going through Missing you. Listen you.. Until you come back to me... that's all I'm going to do!
Why am I always singing in this kitchen? Must be the acoustics. Or maybe I secretly dream I'm a cross between Aretha Franklin and Bette Midler. sweatdrop
I guess it's time to make up some things for Sunday breakfast. It's remarkable the equipment they've got in this kitchen. I didn't expect there to be a dough sheeter! But there it is over in the corner under a cloth. So I guess I'll have to make some croissants because it makes them so flaky!
What else? Seems like there's plenty of fruit thanks to Kyoki Marie. And cereal. And I can do some quick egg dishes along with the usual bacon, toast, pancakes thing.
Time to make some croissants! heart

Seven days was all she wrote A kind of ultimatum note she gave to me. When I thought the field had cleared... it seems another suitor appeared to challege me. Woe is me!
Mmmm. These croissants turned out rather well! Now where is that large basket!
*digs through pantry drawer... finds and fills basket, goes and gets large cloth from drawer and walks out into the dining hall*
Those are awfully big tables out in the rectory dining hall. I wish there were a few smaller ones for when it's just a couple people. Sitting at a huge empty table can be kind of depressing. Maybe I could put in a request with St. Romuel about this issue.
Or I could just clear all the junk off the table in the kitchen. redface
*sets up side table with cloth, utensils, bowls, cups, plates then bustles back into the kitchen*
I should make some more of those rolls for dinner. Where's the dough hook for the Hobart mixer? Oh. There it is. I'll set it up and get to it after the breakfast rush.
*fixes hash browns, quiche, crispy bacon strips and fried ham steaks... takes it all and sets it up with the fruit and boxes of cereal fixings*
Time to go announce breakfast!

William quietly padded into the kitchen, his fox form darting from hiding place to hiding place, intent on getting to the bacon and Hash browns before they were all eaten. "Like a ghost in the night, the Ninja prepares to make off the Shogun's treasure."

William stops suddenly in his mission, seeing someone sit down at the table, placing a obstacle between him and the lovely bacon-y goodness. from his vantage point, he could just see the trademark scarlet shirt of Deep Vermillion.
"It seems that the shogun has hired a guard for his horde of gold. This will take a bit of my cunning to overcome...NO!....All my cunning...."

A lone figure stumbled in drowsily through the doorway, swaying slightly, obviously quite giddy. Strange grey hair, not of old age, but rather natural, was held back out of her eyes by a red headband, and two woozy eyes gazed out across the room, definitely very much unfocused.
"Where the heck am I? Why can't I remember any of last night? These aren't even my clothes!" Sinking into a nearby chair, she stared drowsily at the patrons of the kitchen, utterly unaware of just how out of place she was. "I need alcohol. Now." Pulling a bag up from around her waist, she fumbled around almost blindly until she found a purse, and snapped it open all too violently, sending coins spilling left and right. "Er... damn it!"

*Vermillion smiled and nodded politely to the new arrival, completely oblivious of any sneaking foxes in the vicinity. Seeing the coins spill out of her purse he raised an eyebrow.*
Need some help?

I'm sorry, ma'am. We don't have any alcohol on hand right now. It's only brought in on special occasions or to go with certain meals.

Blinking dubiously at the two intriguingly dressed characters near her, the woman spent a long time in silence, seemingly taking in their words, before replying. "No alcohol? You mean, this isn't the Sake Bar of 34 CB Street?" Reading the slightly miffed look on the face, she sighed, and managed to find a few coins that hadn't escaped the purse. "Oh well. The strongest lemonade you've got then, please."
Diverting her attention to the handsome male, she looked around at the scattered money, and chuckled slightly at the mess she'd made. "I should be able to manage it, thanks," she grinned, sliding off the chair in a very unladylike fashion, and began to paw around on hands and knees for the coins under the table.

This is the Church of Mod. Do you believe in Mod? Mod loves you.
