Oni flew low between the buildings for cover.
He counted three pissed off demon hunters.
At 300 meters away, he landed on top of a large building.
He fished out the scope case, took it off the rifle, and slid it away. He looked in a different pocket for his larger scope, the 12 power one. He snapped it on, brought it up, and looked down from the building.
Below him stretched at least 50 demons, marching towards the city.
"Not good..." he muttered, looking around. He thought he might have known two of the demons in the ranks, but didn't think farther than that.
He instead got up, and flew back to where he was.
In a few moments, he found the two Gods.
"Oi!" he shouted, landing quickly. "50 demons." he said simply.

Dropping yet another human course on the battlefield, Ipos simply sighed with dissapointment. "Have I really gotten so strong that no human alive can kill me?" He asked himself as he took the liberty of plunging his blade into the battle-ridden soil.

Altair flattened himself against a wall of a building and peeked around the corner, he saw five...no six heavily armored soliders, their armor a mix of dark red and a pitch black bearing odd looking emblems on their sheilds, it was a ring of fire with flames licking every which way and what looked like a judge's gavel being burned over it. The flame pattern was unique too each sheild just like how a real flame would look. In between the gaps in the solider's ranks he could see a black cloaked demon. Must be the leader He thought. From a small leather pouch at his side he pulled out what looked like firecrackers. He tossed back his cloak and began too insert them into a small slot, this was alittle something Dimitri had made, it wouldn't be a work by the god of fire without alittle pop too it.
The soliders stopped and parted and began too search the alleyways. Leaving the cloaked general alone in the street. He rested his left hand on the hilt of his sword and surveyed the street, He could hear screams from some distance away. His soliders made good time.
"That's alot...why so many? this isn't even that large of a town, twenty mabe fifteen would have easily surfficed" He said thinking aloud. "we need too leave now, a group that large is sure too have atleast five trackers" He said.

The Demon Book shined again. "Hey, sounds like you guys got some demon real angry. The idea of using 50 demons sounds rather classic." Tomha's voice said comming from the book.
"Don't worry I only hear your conversation when I focus on your book so I only heard from what god you were and your little problem. Do you think you can get away from them? If you run, it's only a matter of time till your either cornered or tired out. This is rather interesting for me." He said chuckling lightly. "Interesting cause I 'might' be able to get you away from them and they wont find you for a good while."

Rikku slowly climbed down but the rusted old bars weren't enough to hold even her light weight and they gave way making a loud clanging sound as they hit, Rikku managed to land gracefully, only to look up and see a couple of the demons he had sent out looking right at her... "Absolutely wonderful.... well here we go." She said launching a ball of light at one as she lunged at the other, drawing her fans.

"Leave now?" Oni echoed. "Fat chance."
He brought his rifle to bear, pointed it up, grabbed the large bolt with his left hand, and pulled it back with a loud metallic sliding sound.
He then let it go, and it rammed home with a loud metallic ping. The whole effect was quite intimidating...for most humans.
He rested the rifle on his shoulder. "You're jokin, right? I mean, come on! You'll defend your wife from one single demon, but you turn tail and flee at the sight of a real battle?"
He turned his head to Rebecca, grinning. "Nice choice." he said off-handedly, looking back at Dimitri. "Some god of forge you are. Or god in general. Come on, take up some arms and lets kick some a**! I have 28 rounds left, thats good enough to take out 15, 20 average demons, 10 to 15 if they are good, could be in the ballpark of five to ten for a very strong one, either way, I'm not going down without a fight."
To conserve ammo, Oni flicked the switch on his rifle to semi-auto, and waited for a reply from the others.

The blood trailed behind her in rather strange patterns, as if she were trying to lead them off her trail in a planned, btu un-planned, way. She would go back and forth through space and continue on... It hurt a little, but not too much... Enough to make her slower than normal, but not slow enough to be caught up... Luckily. She would need to find a place to hide soon... But, that would have to wait til after she threw them off her trail... Which would be difficult if she were bleeding...
Only a little more... she thought to herself, knowing full that she would heal eventually... At least, within the next few moments or so, or it would be her head...

((HI!, I don't want th is one to be dead either... I just need more of a reason to post, I am in the middle of fighting right now though..))
Rikku easily took down the first slashing away at him with her fans before she jumped up dodging the others attacks and driving one of her fans deep into his chest like area, she jumped away and the fan exploded in a blast of light. "Well that was simple I need something with a little bit more of a challenge... it is rather wierd though... for someone to send out 50 demons you would think they would be a bit stronger.... oh well besides, I did only fight 2 of them and they seemed to be of a low rank so it makes sense I suppose..." She said thinking outloud to herself.

"Screw this." Oni said simply, turning and running down the street.
"Oi, Suzy!" he shouted at one of the soldiers, the closest to him. He turned, and promptly got a rifle butt to the forehead, followed by two shots in the same place.
The three others in front of him drew swords.
"Swords? Oh, come on, are you joking me?" he asked, shouldering his rifle.
He dropped two by the time the third got close enough to strike.
Oni, in a quick move, slung his rifle over his shoulder, pushed back his jacket, and grabbed his kusarigama. He blocked the first sword hit, and engaged in a good sword fight, before dropping that demon.
"Who's next, eh!" he yelled, running off down the street. After turning the street, nearly hitting someone in a fight and having to jump over the person's head. "Sorry!" he shouted down to Rikku, landing with a shoulder roll and decapitating another demon.

"Hey!" SHe yelled to oni "Something is not right this is too easy...." She said holding her arm out as a beam of light shot through another one. "And aren't you supposed to be helping them... you are a demon aren't you, I can feel it." She said calmly.

A large group of deranged humans began running into the city within moments. There must have been thirty of them with tattered bloodstained clothes and Tabards with the symbol of a Mouth Devouring an Eye, the Symbol of Xathom. The humans had no sanity and were sadomasochists ((They love pain, whether they suffer or others do)). Demon Lord Xathom was slowly entering the town through the darkest alleys and sneaking into a house. The madmen had knives and pistols.

Oni turned. "Yeah, I know. This is definitely too easy." he said. He saw a demon that snuck around from behind get closer.
"Behind you!" he shouted, tossing his kusarigama. The chained sickle flew right past Rikku's head, planting itself in the demon's chest. Oni yanked hard on the chain, dragging the unsuspecting demon forward at high speeds. When it got close enough, Oni punched it hard, and the momentum made his punch twice as strong, knocking the demon out as it sailed past him.
He pulled the chain again, pulling the sickle from the demon. "Yes, I am one of them." he said casually, stepping, litteraly, over the corpse to get at another demon.
"And you're a god, no?" he asked, grabbing a demon by the throat and throwing him hard into a brick wall. The wall cracked, and the demon slid down it, knocked out cold like the other one. The rest of the soldiers fled, most likely to ransack another area of the city.
"Oni." he introduced himself as, turning and walking back to her. "And you are...a goddess of what I assume is light, from the...beam bit." he said, searching for a word to describe it.

"Amaterasu." She said plainly "Goddess of the sun and light, however you can call me Rikku." She smiled sweetly. "So what do you think is going on here, it isn't everyday that there is a demon raid, maybe they are looking for something.. or one." She said thinking.

"Nice to meet you. Just keep the light lasers away from me, I don't like being scorched." Oni said with a grin.
The demon on the floor behind him stirred, and got a quick kick in the ribs to quiet it down.
"I know what you mean. It's probably also not every day a demon helps out the good side, eh?" he added, looking around.
The other demons seemed to be retreating towards a powerful aura that was radiating, and moving. Not good.
