Lily opened her eyes and looked around at all of them. The stranger wasn't here, there must be more. Teeth? Lily wondered. Like a vampire? Vampire! That stranger had been a vampire. That's why he'd found her when she was all bloody and managed to cary her so far without hurting her. Then she'd woken up and couldn't remember anything but she hadn't been able to remember anything. She slowly ran her tongue over her teeth and sure enough she had fangs. "I'm a vampire, right?" she asked the others, still not quite believing it.

"Unfortunately no..." Derethra stopped the medallion and slipped it back into his pack. "Magic...So overly complicated." He said as he straightened his back and walked over to Starbry.

Lily glanced around at what was happening. She was starting to grasp it but she still didn't understand all the reasons behind what they were doing. All she knew was she was the reason for all this.

Kir stood up slowly and walked over to Lily. Being closer to her, he thought he might be able to imprint his recent memories onto her. He knelt down in front of her and looked deeply into her eyes, only to find that his jewel refused to operate.
He looked away hard, tears forming in his eyes again.

Starbry suddenly realized that she was crying. She wiped her eyes and grabbed Derethra's hand.
Derethra flinched when Starbry grasped his hand. He was not expecting it. He hugged her then turned back to what was happening.

Lily looked back into his eyes and when he looked away she felt bad about upsetting him but she could feel his sorrow too. this got her mind working and she began to remember again and she closed her eyes to focus. Starting from that point her life began to unfold like a story and her memories slowly began to come back to her. Her first hunt, her time spent with Estuvrius's clan, her travels with her creator and alone and then she remembered going into Dethan and meeting an angel who looked very lost. Kir! she remembered excitedly and then she remembered how the days had passed. Meeting Durrahn going to kelnia bay and meeting Derethra, going to the October Reformatory and rescuing Amaranth, their time at Snow Peak, saving Starby from Estuvrius and Kir getting bitten, trying to help him and coming here to try and cure it and then... she'd almost died and then Kir must have revived her and...Kir kissed me and I pushed him away! She thought, shocked. then she opened her eyes and looked at Kir away with sudden understanding and then she threw her arms around his neck and embraced him. "I'm sorry, Kir. How could I forget you?" she said to him, leaning her face against his shoulder.

"...!" Kir was taken by surprise. He was suddenly so happy that he started crying again. He raised his hands and hugged her back, rubbing his head on hers slightly.
"I don't remember raising my brother to be a crybaby," Amaranth said with a laugh.

Derethra's Heart beat quickened "Should I? No , maybe, no... I shouldn't steal Kir's thunder." he thought. He went between yes and no 20 times before he payed attention to what was happening. He had a very contemplating look on his face, which he didn't mean to.
