...Worrying....

The strangeness of it all, the whole fortune things. They have me worried sick.

Kala is asleep on the floor and Amkia is asleep in the bed and looking at them both, well, I wouldn't think that anything could possibly go wrong with either of them because, well, look at them, they look so innocent though I know Kala is far from that.

Val gave me this as a fortune, I scribbled it down as quickly as I could so I think its accurate.

"You have been brought a child of Shadow to balance your child of Light. On the fault of the caravan... Illusion and Delusion were placed together, causing extreme chaos in the balance. A light in the dark- the final wagon in the balance of highest power- was then balanced- shadow to light- to complete this wagon. Now, we are balanced- and you... are blessed cursed.

...This rivalry will give them one great gift. They will be protected upon the Woodland Choice. Their anger and fear amuses them. But in time, shall this spread, rally their forces they will attempt. And in so, one shall be doomed."

I have thought about this. My children are going to be safe in the forest, which in a way I am really grateful but yet upset about because others have got bad propechys in the forest. The thing I am worried about is the whole rallying forces, Kala has no friends and doesn't seem to want to make any.

Amkia has Vanna and Kale now, but I dont know if they would both back him up, I think Vanna would but I don't know about Kale. I can just hope that Amkia won't lose his angelicness, for thats what I believe he is, just my little angel.

Learning Something Interesting....

Heather had been confused when they stopped travelling but she had accepted that they must be taking a rest. Kala, who had decided to trot beside the wagon suddenly jumped upto Heather and let out a small hiss and a snarl.

"Oh shush!" She clipped the cats ear and went inside to pick up Amkia, she had seen Lor and Vanna go and meet more gypsies! She smiled as she left her caravan, petting her horses before she walked forward, wondering who these gypsies were. Kala trotted beside Heather, she never seemed to leave her side even if she was a nuisance! Amkia stayed in her arms though, half asleep.

Oqaia

"Oh, semita, you have two!" A middle-aged woman came from her side of the caravan 'V', brushing the dirt on her hands off in her skirt apron. She had a kindly but no-nonsense face, and came with a small but sincere smile on her face.

"Semita, I can't imagine having two at the same time. I only ever raised my children far apart. ...Velle," she said, explaining her name with a nod of her head. "And you, child?"

Heather as in such a shock when the middle aged woman appeared. Kala did her normal hissing dont come near me thing and Amkia continued to sleep in Heathers arms.

"Oh yes, hi. I am Heather." She wasn't quite sure what to say, this woman seemed a little lively that was for sure. "Its hard work, especially when they dont get on." She smiled sweetly, trying not to show the worry for her own children. "What child do you have?"

Oqaia

"Oh, I'm too old to have a Fortunette running about my heels now," Velle laughed, a creaky, yet comfortable sound. "That's a game for the young- keeping up with the constant twists of the meij. But that boy over there- the one who is petitioning your friend- Trabor. Some of my other children have been scattered about." Velle looked at the hissing animal and the angelic child.

"Oh, you poor thing. They don't get on? ...What has your wagonmother said about it?"

Remove

She listened, it was interesting talking to an older gypsy. "Oh, I wouldnt have thought you could ever be too old!" She chuckled lightly.

The question about what Val had said made Heather a little uneasy. "Oh just that they will get in a big fight, get allies, may have to reorder the wagons... just the general bad stuff." She tried to joke about it.

Oqaia

"Oh dear," Velle said softly, realizing through Heather's joking tone the seriousness of the situation. "Well, that would be dangerous. The last time two Fortunettes took sides against each other, and drew in others... there was a great war. South of here- near the great Salt Mines. Destroyed an entire forest. The Ash Forest is actually a plains now. ...Perhaps you should seek out the area- it's thick with charms to prevent rivalries."

Remove
Heather listened and nodded, "Yes, maybe I shall head that way at some point. "Thank you, I dont really want a war, thst for sure.."

Oqaia
"Good. ...I wish I had more to tell you of the Great Rift- that was what the war was called. But it's just been so long since I've had to think on it. Perhaps you can keep your eyes and ears open for information on it."

Boredom...

She was on the prowl. Heather was with Amkia and Vanna, they were both far to sweet and good for her own liking. Her sharp green eyes looked round the group of people, her rought tounge licked at her lips as slowly she made her way to where she could see a deer, Stefan. She would have tried to hurt him more would he had been alone, but no, they knew him. She let a deep rumble of a snarl loosen in her throat before turning back.

She headed towards her wagon before she stopped suddenly. The banyas were make a dreadful amount of noise, she hissed and spat a little before seeing a bird up a tree, it wasn't making as much noise but it was something and it was food. She slowly jumped up the tree, reaching the branch the bird was sitting on. She say close to the trunk of the tree for a while, all hunched up as the bird sang at the end of the branch. One shot, just one.

She tensed her back legs, getting ready to straighten her tail for balancing, she pounced. The bird flew off but Kalas jaws were waiting for it. Her claws digging into the branch, shifting her weight so that the branch would not snap. The bird died in her powerful jaws.

She jumped down from the tree and plucked the feathers with her clas before eating the small meal, it wasn't enough though, no where near. She let out a snarl of annoyance and stretched her front legs, then her back. She looked to the sky and sniffed ever so slightly. She wanted something else, she wanted to get the caravans moving. She wanted to cause problems.

She headed back to the group, a little unaware of the others. She looked for Heather, she needed to avoid her at all costs. Yet she couldn't. Sibling rilvary.... twas time to begin.

Hidden...

She dared not use the calming drought as she was weary of the effects on Kala, she had kept it close though but she wasn't all that borthered, she had just kept to herself, Amkia was becomming less scared of Kala but there was something still between them.

It was how life was now, Heather, hidden away in her van not daring to leave while constantly watching her two children. Oh how life was so great... not.

Secra was closer than any Banya in the caravan to flying away. Sometimes the bird looked to the skies with a near-vile expression on its aviator face and bubbled with an ill-temper that was so common to its breed. There was constant fighting- even though the meij was balanced in their wagon, still- the power struggle was evident even so. Something kept Secra there. Perhaps it was days as this- when the meij brought a wind filled with kernels of fortune.

Susa... girl given a chance at life-
Will she be Seira?
Will he be Forta?
There are six sisters you must meet.

Crazy Bird

Secra spoke and as usual any fighting or anything stopped and listened. Heather was becomming a mess, she couldn't deal with the problems with her children and it was without a doubt driving her mad, but what about these six sisters?

Amkia listened and for once started to be himself, he was glowing again and chuckling as he always use to, he could see Secra's distress at the caravan and Secra was Amkia's so he wanted the bird to be happy!

Kala just hissed and curled up on the floor, she wanted everyone to just obey her, isn't that what all cats wanted? To be obeyed.

Hunting

Kala got out, free of the caravan and the restrictions it held. She looked about happy that no one was about decided to slowly make her way down from the caravans.

Moving slowly she looked for something to hunt, catch and eat. Luckily it was her day. Infront of her was a mouse unaware of the large predator behind it. Though a mouse was nothing to the leopard, she was happy to catch anything.

In moments the mouse was dead.

She looked up at the sky, they needed more interesting things to hunt, like that deer that had appeared. He had looked very tastey indeed. She smirked looking back at the caravans. He would wait. She wanted some real fun.

Luckily, deer was still on the menu. She had gone quite a way back along the road they had been along and back amoungst the trees, for this is where she was at home.

The deers were grazing not too far away, using the trees to help hide her she managed to jump down, close enough to the deer to get a good run but far enough not to disturb them.

Lowering her body a little she slowly stalked them before running at them, grabbing one of the older and less able ones leg, pulling it down, with a leap she had her mouth clenched around its neck and was holding it down till it died.

At last, she had a meal.

Heather returned to the caravan with Secra. She put the bird onto its perch and smiled as Amkia ran up to the bird to feed it some treats. He then hugged Heather and sat watching the two remaining Banya Birds.

"Will Lirka ever come back?"

"I don't know, the Banya man is doing everything he can Amkia." She placed a hand on his head and played with his hair while they watched Secra on his post.

Secra was glad to be back. The wild is no place for a Banya- particularly one that has so long been a part of a gypsy family. And so, the fortune the Banya gave on the open water was meant sweetly, and had been thought through and interpreted by the Banya for quite some time after capturing the kernel.

There is still a draught
For you to use
But caution in large amounts
Is much and far to be advised
So instead
As Fortunes Go-
It would behoove to sell
A Potion Portion
To one whose wagon is yet to be Pested.

Chumu, by nature, was sour. It was unusual for a Lilas, but Chumu wasn't wholly a typical Lilas. It was, however, a young Banya, just reaching maturity- and so the fortune was not tainted by its sour disposition. Not yet...

.... It's been a while ....

I haven't written this in what seems years.... oh okay it has been basically a year. A lot has happened you see, mother has been ill loads and Kala, well she is still a screaming baby but then what would anyone expect from her? She is vicious too! Her teeth are coming through alright and she is starting to talk. It's no surprise really that her first word was 'kill' is it? Well what would we expect from my darling sister?

Though we have been with the other caravans we have kept very much to ourselves just because of Kala becomming increasingly vicious, even as a baby and well... I don't want to walk into... well you know who I mean. I am sure she is still upset with me and oh I feel so bad.

Anyway. The birds have been quiet for the past year, it is so peaceful. Anyway off to see to Kala, mother is sleeping. She hit her head the other day and has some sort of concussion.

..... A Surprise Not Wanted .....

"Kala? KALA!!!" Heather couldn't help but shout where had her daughter got to? Amkia was running all over the place trying to find her but this was Kala, she could have crawled anywhere. The little cat girl had a mind of her own and she did love to cause trouble. It seemed even as a toddler she was able to cause enough pain and trouble to keep Heather locked up in the caravan with her just to keep her away from everyone else!

"Mother keep your voice down." The voice wasn't Amkia's, Heather knew that instantly and there was no doubt of surprise that was on her face as Kala stood in front of her. A child a beautiful child. How though? How had she grown?

"Kala?"

"Who else? Now where is that good for nothing brother of mine?" She was demanding to say the least and in a way it frightened Heather. She knew that Kala would be nothing but trouble from the minute the cat came from the necklace but this?

"Amkia is out looking for you where have you been?"

"It doesn't concern you or him. If he isn't about then I am going out."

"Kala come back!" But she didn't and Heather didn't really expect her to. She could talk and do what she liked now and she had no problem doing so. Kala was going to be a handful. A beautiful and gorgeous girl but a handful and trouble.

Amkia.

She had to find Amkia before Kala did.

It just happened to be her luck that Amkia was on his way back and so she got him inside the caravan, sat him down and told him about Kala. He tried to hide the fact that he was afraid but Heather was his mother, he could see everything. They would get through this together.

... A Nightmare Come True ....

So I knew this day would come. I never wanted it to but I knew it would. I mean sure Kala has always hated me, I can see that but I don't need her making my life hell right now ok?

Vanna hates me I know she does. I don't even know where she is but I knew she hates me and I am sure some of the others do to. I mean I stopped Vanna's mum being able to see her, how harsh is that! It might not have been my choice but that doesn't stop the fact that I did it now does it?

Why couldn't Kala just stay as a toddler. At least she couldn't speak and though she could bite she couldn't really do much harm. Its like the devil has been unleashed. I guess I will just try to avoid her but I know she will come for me eventually. She has always hated me and I doubt that will have changed.

.... Free At Last ....

There are times in your life when you feel trapped, being a toddler is one of those times. You can't do anything and life is just so boring. I mean who wants to crawls around all day and have your mother watching over you all day long. Well now I am free and I am ready to get out of here.

Amkia... you can wait but I will get you just wait. There are other things to deal with first.

Oh its nice to be able to write now. Oh this will be fun.

Look out suckers. The cats back and ready to attack.
