He smiled and brushed his nose with his index finger, "i'm sure it did..." he chuckled to himself slightly and Took a sip of his Granddaughter's wine. the Bitter sweet taste reminded him of the old days when the manor was filled with the joy of his family... Little tears stung the side of his eyes as he thought of Lust.

"lets bring this out to the patio." Elenath suggested. it was only a step outside the kitchen, and the whole wall and railing were covered in flowery vines. the setting sun was breath taking, and the flowers were just beginning to close for the evening.

Chrono sighed, "i'm sorry... i guess i just thought for some odd reason.. you wanted the piano moved..." he slipped his hands into his pants pockets and walked outside.

it wasn't more that 20mins that they were out there, and their conversation was interrupted with a scream. then the house shook with the sound of the explosion coming from Solaray's room. before they can even get inside, the sound of shattering glass signals that Solaray has jumped out of the window.
Her bedroom a blaze with golden flame. and Solaray quiet on the ground below.

Chrono dashes over Scythes in hand and keen eyes scanning the area surrounding her. after he was sure the person was staying where they were for a while, he knelt down beside her and vanished one of his scythes, "Who's here?" He asked lifting Solaray's face to see her haunted eyes.

Solarays eyes were glowing, and her look fierce. Flame blasted Chrono away, and had made a burning hole in the side of the white palace.

Chrono sits up and glares, "Well is that any way to treat the lord of the Abyss?" He leaps to his feet and Casually walks up to her again, "so you gonna tell me whats wrong yet or do i have to go get the waif to break into your mind and figure it out?"

"NO!" Solaray shouts, but her voice wasnt normal, it sounded like a growl.
She grasped Chrono's wrist.it was almost as if she needed the support of him for her to gain strength. then as fast as the whole thing had happened, Solaray let go and flew off; taking her dragon form halfway into the sky.
Elenath and Hans were doing their best to put out the fire with dirt and extinguisher.

Chrono watched for a while as Solaray disappeared off into the distance, then spun around to help Hans and Elli.
He grabbed Elli's hand and got a hold of her wind control, then created a small whirlwind of that surrounded the flame and soon put it out, "i must go to the Abyss... i'll be back later. in the meantime... figure out what is controlling your goddess..." Chrono turned and flew off, heading for the graveyard.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Roughly one week later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kaos Kessaku makes his way through the gates in Enthelda and begins his search for the VonMire residence. He stopped by many shops and bought lots of home decorations he thought his daughter might like, then finally came across a piece of information about the residence living in a Manor not too far away from Lady Elenaths. He smiled and left the shop in pursuit of this manor, when suddenly he came across a familiar figure ranting around the small quiet village.
Kaos came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, "Now now sweetie, no need to get violent."
Akuma hissed and pushed her father off, "I want food but not even this man will sell to me! Damnit! i dont need to be like this when i see Lucid agian!" she began to twitch from being so tense, when her father pulled out a bit of jerky and gave it to her, "Here, but if Chrono smites me now... you'd better feel sorry."
Akuma devoured the jerky then launched into her father's arms with tears in her eyes, "that was amazing jerky... i don't think i have ever tasted anything like it... thank you so much daddy!"
"Heh, now you're all innocent... just a few days ago you were trying to kill me...", he thought as he stroked her back and smiled, "You're welcome sweetheart... now, would you by any chance know where this man of yours might live?"
Akuma thought about it, then her eyes widened and she mumbled,"You know... i don't."
Kaos fell backward and groaned, "Hells fire, and you think i pick 'em fast!"
Akuma giggled, "But his father has a crush on Elenath, so they're probably up visiting her on that island up there."
Kaos picked himself up and dusted off, "Alright then, lets go pay a visit."

Sorrow waited beside the gates to the castle. She wondered if she was too late as she paced again, going over and over on what she would say. Each time she thought about it it sounded stupid and she would change it only to change it again the next time she went over it.
She sighed coming to a stop again, she hated waiting, but telling him would make her feel better. She didn't know how it would help him if at all, and this trip could have been nothing more then a waste of time.

Akuma and Kaos reached the edge of Elenath's floating plot of land, and seemed to be having a pleasant conversation about something; when Akuma suddenly froze and her head slowly turned from her father to the door of Elenath's mansion where Sorrow was waiting.

Sorrow looked up to scan the horizon again, and when she caught sight of him and following his line of sight. She watched Akuma turn her head, and any thought about talking to Kaos just died. This was the dumbest idea she had ever listened to, and all she served to do was cause tension to build between them. She looked away and her feet followed the direction she looked, and at her pace it seemed like forever to reach the edge of the floating mass. She paused at the edge and just reaffrimed that it was dumb idea to herself, but the small thought of her trying to explain to Akuma kept nagging the back of her mind. She looked back over at the two, she looked back over the edge crushing that small idea under the weight of her past instances with Akuma.
She spread her wings and dropped off the edge, she would just go home, to what remained of hers, and do what everyone else in Arias was doing. Trying to rebuild their lives.
