I would work with soldier because of the type of training that those guys receive. Haved you ever watched last order? It will show you just what a soldier first class can do.

Hm...I wouldn't join either Avalanche OR Soldier...They're too...sidy...One works for military, which has it's bad things, and the other is working against the military, which also has its bad things...So I'd go with the TURKS...Cuz they're hawt...and it seems like they don't have their heads stuck up their asses. blaugh I <3 Reno...and Tseng...and Reno...o_O...does Vincent count? blaugh

I'm not sure, if i went with AVALANCHE then I'd get emotionally attatched to things, but if i went with SOLDIER then I wouldn't have any emotions so I'd go with SOLDIER

Well, let's see, to be in Avalanche or Shinra's SOLDIER program? Hmm...
Well, this really depends for me. I would NOT want to work for an organization that does not agree with my morals (a good portion of tem being either warmongers like Scarlet or greedy buttmunches like... almost everyone except for Reeve and the Turks eek ), and in fact would be willing to compromise any morals just to make some extra money. That makes me sick, and if I made money, I'd prefer it to be honestly earned. That, and the actions of Shinra in the past, such as the war in Wutai, does not make me look upon them in a good light. That, and their human experimentation.
However, Avalanche is not any better. While their hearts are in the right place, their actions are too reckless. Killing millions of people just to get your point across, when these millions of people (old and young, men and women alike) have NOTHING to do with your cause, is just irresponsible and STUPID. I would NOT want to go around bombing people just to get the government (no matter how stupid it is) to look my way and realize that there's a problem with their way of doing things. Killing innocent people just isn't my style, thank you very much.
However, Shinra isn't entirely evil, though, as such things do not exist. There are employees, such as Reeve, who are good people who genuinely care for the welfare of the people, and doesn't really care about money unless he can utilize it to help others. As for SOLDIER, I am not sure that I'd be willing to sacrifice any bit of my humanity just to become a super strong killing machine for the State. Especially when the government puts money before the people. Not all SOLDIERS are bad (a good example would be Zax), but as I said, I would prefer not to be involved directly with anything related to warfare. I do not like killing, and rarely, if ever, condone it.
Avalanche, like I mentioned, tends to have their hearts in the right place, even if they have a less than ethical way of going about things. If I had joined Avalanche, I would have to give up many things, like my chances at a career I've always wanted, my personal safety, and my social life, for the most part, excepting interaction with sympathizers.
In fact, I'd join either, depending on what my role in the organization would be. I wouldn't mind being a doctor that helped treat injured SOLDIERS after battle, nor would I mind doing research into various branches of science (however, I do not plan to go anywhere near what Hojo does). Or, I could be a sort of technician for Avalanche, working on computers and hacking into systems to acquire information that may be needed to avoid Shinra at the next corner.
Then again, like many people mentioned before, being a Turk DOES sound like a cool job... sweatdrop I just don't like the killing part. Incapacitating, yes, but killing, no.
Hmm... I'm really indecisive about this. sweatdrop I'd probably say Shinra, though not as a soldier, but perhaps as a scientist, doctor, or executive of sorts, so that (after garnering enough support from the other members of Shinra that are not corrupt), I could overthrow the current president, ousting the corrupt officials, and begin the long road to reform. Hopefully, all before the age of thirty. biggrin

I'm more of the double agent type, so I'd have to go with my original plan, join SOLDIER and go on the run after being accused of murdering my partner in crime... wait... that's not double agent! *hits head* stressed

b) avalanche... =x avalanche is pretty dam extreme i mean... looking at modern day metaphors you'd be pissed too if someone shut off all your electricity cuz we were running out of oil -.-
