Slowly he crept from the room his eyes darting back and forth and his nose sniffed the mixture of scents that hid the occupants numbers. Slowly he headed towards the main level of the house the smell of herbs overwhelmed any other scent. He snorted loudly unable to take in more of the scent. He started to believe the old fat slaver had set him up. He opend a door quietly and noticed the shadows of someone moving around. Fey readied himself. the scent of a women and a man prehaps the lord He thought. He sighed quietly then entered slowly If he was lucky they would not be armed. He kept his head low and said nothing as he entered the room. His eyes never leaving the floor.

Vasilisa gasped in wonder as they rose above the town. So he is a firebird, she glanced at the flames surrounding her, No, this power is different... more powerful than Mother Lado's servant She looked below at the town as they flew away from the troops, Thank you for the offer of hospitality, she said in a soft voice, as they rose higher into the air. It freed me from the slaver's "offer." She looked ahead, to see where they would be going. She thought of what might have happened to Ivan, He wasn't in that town... what if he isn't in this world at all? The thought chilled her, I haven't heard the song since I crossed over the threshold... no, the faint trail of the kidnapper's magic was there. She sighed, she needed help to find Ivan, more than that, she needed to figure out why they not only captured Ivan, but took her out of Mother Russia completely. I am a stranger in a strange land, she said to the phoenix I was following the traces of my mortal husband when I crossed over to this realm. And because of the rules placed upon me by Father Dazhbog, I am sometimes trapped by these mortals in even simple matters as finding a place to sleep for the night. she sighed, I pray that you forgive me for burdening myself upon you.

A man sneered at the attractive redhead bound in chains behind him as they passed through the outskirts of the slave district. "It's a lucky thing I bought you tonight, by the looks of things. A lucky night indeed," the insufferable man laughed to himself.
The girl quickly looked around, and seeing no one near them, she smiled grimly to herself, "Lucky for me, unlucky for you..."
The man turned around to exercise his new authority, "What did you just -" He turned to see the catgirl's palms levelled at him before he was enveloped in flames.
"Fire... it's a dangerous thing," she mused as she carefully melted the irons from her lithe form, leaving her with rags barely covering the requisite areas. She pushed her dirty auburn hair out of her face with nonchalance, the next order of business getting her the hell out of the slave district.
Where to, she mused to herself. She soon noted the trail of something that seemed Wolfram to her although she couldn't quite place why. Well, if there's a Wolfram out here, maybe he'll decide to work with me instead of trying to tear my throat out for once...
The Kaelan followed the Lycan's trail through the darkness, thankful that she was able to keep out of sight of the fire's interlopers and onlookers. She came at length to the manor and took pause at its sheer size. It wasn't as big as her father's palace, but the mansion could almost pass for a castle in its own right. She quickly found a way up the far wall of the compound and in through a window she spotted ajar. Soundlessly, her feet hit the floor and she returned the window to its original state. She then regarded the rags her raiment had been reduced to and gave a mental sigh. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to go tracking a Wolfram in this world, she thought, as it was their machinations that brought her into her present predicament. Her dark red feline ears and tail, the only fur on her toned body, drooped with the thought. What other choice do I have, though? Maybe this one is an outcast as well; perhaps we can form a partnership of mutual interest...
(OOC: My character is a Kaelan, a cat-race from a world I constructed. This one is a special case as she can command some fire. The Wolfram are the neighboring hostile wolf-people, and they look a little more like wolves than a werewolf in lycan form at all times.)

bandaidd Beann slowly unstraddled Syn's legs and sat cross legged on the ground, facing him. The rain no longer fell in sheets and thunder no longer rolled throuhg the valley. There was just the constant drip-drip-dripping of water off the leaves as they splashed onto the meadow and shrubs in the immediate area. A thin mist was rising from the lake. Beann reached for Syn's shoulders again and pulled him toward her till he was resting on his back with his head in her lap. She smiled gently as she took his cheeks in her hands then let them firmly slide to the back of his neck. Beann tipped his head to one side feeling him relax and kneaded his neck muscles on the other and she gently stretched, then she did the same for the other side of his neck. She raised up a little and pressed the heels of her hands on his shoulders till they were fat on the ground before gently releasing them. Then she pressed his shoulders down toward his feet, relaxing his neck muscles even further. Her hair tickled his face and she unconsciously flipped it to her back. She reached both hands as far as she could under his back and between his shoulder blades and drew his skin toward her as she slowly pulled her hands up to the base of his skull. He seemed to relax visibly. She pushed on his shoulders and pulled on his back again. She took her time appying finger pressures to every spot on his scalp and face. She was warming up now. She laid his cloak down on the ground and had him roll over onto it face down before kneeling astride his lower back. She leaned into it as she applied finger pressures down the length of his spine and back up again, then progressed to his shoulder blades and sacral area. She lighly pounded and firmly massaged his back, arms and hands then moved to remove his boots and treated his lower legs and feet. The moon was now visible 2 full hands further west than when darkness fell and the frog sang in the mist. The dampness smelled fresh and clean. Beann lay down besides Syn and reached to kiss his cheek. And then propped her head on her hand to watch him. Is he still awake?((im sorry about the delay.. ill post my part in the morning its almost midnight right now and i cant think too well. guess im just here letting you know im not dead or giving up on this RP.))

Tan cocked his head toward Vasilisa. He could hear and understand just fine, but his beak didn't lend itself to human speech. He cast about looking for an out-of-the-way place to land. Given that he was almost ridiculously visible like this, he wanted to put down somewhere that wouldn't be easy for others to follow. His first thought had been to get out of town entirely, but if she needed something here in town, it would be far more dangerous to then try to re-enter the city rather than trying to disappear into the back-streets and alleys.
A small distance away, a mansion rose above the city bustle, neatly topping a small rise. It had a sturdy looking structure, and a large portion of the roof was flat, as though to allow parties or receptions atop the manor. It would also do well to deflect peoples curiosity about a large flaming bird, as few questioned the antics of the wealthy. Veering towards the roof, Tan swooped low, gently releasing Vasilisa so that her feet only dropped a few inches. Swiftly changing forms again, Tan was forced to drop into a roll to abate the momentum he had. Almost sub-consciously he drew his twin long-knives mid-roll, coming to his feet at a ready stance. Too much use of his fire had begun to take it's toll, and Tan didn't want to risk setting the manor on fire during their escape.

The tingling sensation of powerful fire magic jarred the young woman from her reverie. She looked around the rooftop and spotted two figures among the failing flames. They can't be following me! They can't be! But I can't chance it. I have to move, and fast!
She followed the scent of the Lycan down the hall and onto the first floor, the noise of her skin on the finished wood the only sound she made. The wolf's scent was much stronger now. I have to be close, she thought as she crept across the dining room, carefully observing everything around her as she slowly made her way toward the door to the kitchen.

Vasilisa landed softly as the phoenix changed shape. She wrung her hands as she looked around at their new surroundings. I wonder whose house this is, she said quietly, If there is a domovoi here, he could have some helpful information. She walked along the rooftop, quickly finding not only the door, but a ladder leading down to the ground. Even if there is a domovoi here, would he take kindly to strangers in his domain? She held her hands together as in prayer, Perhaps... but why risk it? She looked up at her companion, Ivan wasn't in that town, I'm sure of it. She sighed and looked up at the stars. Reaching into her cloak, she pulled out a single arrow,I have to use some strong enchantments, but it should give me a direction to start. She smiled at the arrow, and held it up, whispering small words of magic. She let the arrow go and it spun around three times. She watched it quietly, with held breath. On the third spin, it slowly turned and stopped, pointing up and to the northwest. She faltered as the arrow fell, He's far away, but he's in this world at least, she sighed, breathing deeply, But I still can't tell who took him or why. Her eyelids felt heavy, I haven't asked you your name yet. she had a hopeful smile on her lips as she fell unconscious, for some reason, her magic left her more drained than usual. ((OOC: I promise not to have her go unconscious every time she uses high-level magic. There's a reason it effected her this way this particular time.))

Her touch was amazing. He'd never felt so relaxed before, not even as a child. His thoughts always found a way to ruin things though.... A price. Kindness comes with the price. He'd look to her when she finished, never into her eyes, after she'd leaned to him for a small kiss on his face. "Why're you being this way towards me Beann? Is there something you wish for? Something you want from me?"

Apparently, I'm an idiotball and forgot to do a profile first... So here it is... (Sorry about that!)User Name: Exor Omega Charactername: Anya Redclaw Gender: Female Age: Early twenties Race: Kaelan, a race of cat-people in a world I created. Exor The Kaelan, Kingdom of Kaelon - The temperate northeast are the lands of the Kaelan and King Kah'Tes Kyrona. Kaelan are lean and have fur that may be only on their ears and tails or may nearly cover their entire bodies. Different patterns can be seen in the soft hair of the Kaelan. Their feline traits are not limited to their physical appearance, but also their personalities. Some are more curious; some are more passive; some are more aggressive, but all Kaelan are proud. Kaelan are noted for their agility and cunning in addition to their pride, which has lead to some ill will between them and the Fetharians and the constant fighting with the Wolfram. Appearance: She is lean with medium length auburn hair and somewhat darker fur on her ears and tail. She wears the female uniform complete with the placed plating in consistancy with the kaelan's dislike for much clothing, but now she's been reduced to only rags, as per her slave trader masters. Brief history: Anya was a soldier in the Kaelan Army in her home plane of Valefor. During an operation in the war against the Wolfram, she found herself trapped by the wolf-like creatures and banished to another world. It wasn't long after she arrived on this world that she was taken by slave traders and brought to the city. She allowed this to happen, biding her time until she could find a better solution than fighting the entire town guard by herself. Personality: Being that she is in a strange world, Anya is more cautious and reserved than usual. She wants to find a way back home for more than one reason. She is a very passionate individual and sometimes acts without thinking things through. Her compassion and good heart lead her actions. Theme Song: I Am Ghost, Dark Carnival of the Immaculate (The theme song for my favorite scene in her story so far)

((Sorry guys I had a strange weekend but I'm back.))
Fey's ears picked up small hints of sound but he brushed it to the back of his mind, That was till the scent began to sneak it's way past the door. He slowly raised his head and turned in the direction of the door. He ignored the two infront of him for a moment figuring if they ran he could easily track them down if they ran. He opened the kitchen door wide and walked towards the other intruder. His fists tightened ready for a fight the moment his eyes confirmed it was a Feline being.
"Sorry Kitty Cat but this is as far as you go!" he snarled. He had no personal hate for any creature other than humans but Felines and Lycans had never seen eye to eye. "Your Not like the others are you?" Something seemed strange about this feline creature Something hidden. "Doesn't matter cause when i'm done with you all that will be left is a fur ball." He said as his fangs began to grow out.

((OOC: It's a good thing that Vasilisa is unconscious. Between my toddler girl unofficially entering the terrible two's (her birthday's not 'til VALENTINE'S DAY!), and hubby's new addiction to Travieon, I'm not sure how much I'll get the computer. I'll try and check in at least once a day though. Ugh, I'm so worn-out from my girlie's tantrums. I'm hoping she stops throwing them soon.))

Beann rolled over onto her back and looked up at the leaves. I'm messing things up. He hates me. Is there some geas I haven't lived up to?"I, I'm sorry, Syn. I hoped you would... like me." Her voice trailed off as she sat up. She slowly walked to her majestic oak tree and hit the polished knob that opened the door. Fireflies lit the way as she ascended the circular staircase. She flopped onto her eiderdown mattress and pouted, forgetting that she had left the door open. The warm light of her house fireflies would beckon through the night.

Tan sighed. North was bad as far as he was concerned. West was fine, and might even offer some good news. As it seemed Miklos was not here in the city, that meant that he had left the city. And the road that they had been about to take led to the west. He crouched slightly, sliding his knives back into their sheaths. He shook his arms, and like someone shaking out a rug they stretched and unfurled into his wings as the rest of him shifted. Stepping carefully over to Vasilisa's unconscious form, he awkwardly cradled her in his talons. His uncomfortable stance, knuckles down on the roof, made his takeoff a little shaky, but once airborne, there was no further trouble. Already too high and swift for most archers to bother, Tan had no fear of the soldiers that had tried their aim a few moments earlier. Tan just hoped to find the minotaur in a fairly good humor. A drizzling rain had helped ardent firefighters in quenching much of Tans handiwork, but enough heat and fire remained for Tan to use the columns of smoke as both blind and extra lift. He wasn't terribly worried about the chill night air at high altitudes. His fires were still warm enough that he was in no danger, and Vasilisa was held close enough that it would take a chill wind indeed to be a problem. But if they had to go North, then someone else would have to take some responsibility for warmth. Rain was no problem, it evaporated easily enough, but snow, that was a problem. Tan hoped very much that Miklos would be in an adventuring mood, and willing, at least, to help out.
Tan winged westward along the road. He noted the bush he had glamoured earlier that day. The message was gone, so Miklos had read it. Which meant as long as they continued this way, they should run across him sooner or later. After all, how does one miss a seven-foot-tall, eight-hundred-pound minotaur?

Wonderful, he's not even a Wolfram, but he's just as violent, she griped as she stepped back from the shifting Lycan. "Look," she began with some authority in her voice, "I don't even know who are what exactly you are, and I don't want any more trouble than I already have. Is there some way we can work this out, or are we going to have to do this the hard way...?" She invisibly readied herself for the Lycan's attack, her most viable option to retreat and set the house on fire. I'm really gonna make some friends this time, she thought as she went over the path she took to get to the dining room in her head.
(Damecharlie, might it be permissable to encounter your daughter? The situation seems to be deteriorating rapidly...)
