Sora looked up at him. "I'm sorry to hear that.... I don't really have any family members other than my brother, that's why he's so protective of me... he's benn through alot...we both have but he's taken it alot harder than I have..." She said then let out a sigh. "But it's time like this that make me forgett all of that happened... I mean when you can see the world from it's peaceful side you don't have a reason to be upset with it." She said looking at the lake.

Erak sighed as he thought about what Karma said. "Yeah, I guess you're right. actually, I wasn't as upset over her death as I thought I'd be. I guess, in some part of my mind, I kind of knew she was dead. I just wanted an excuse to leave and become a knight."

Sora looked up at him. "Don't we all.... I mean the thought of being chained up with the shackles of reality doesn't sound all that apealing.... the life of a knight seem much more apealing." She said then let out a sigh. She started to braid her hair as she talked. "When you think about the difference...alot of other would rather take the adventurouse path and part from thier parents dreams.

Erak slowly nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I understand how you feel. Right now, I have no real direction in my life, or a real reason to be a knight. I just thought it'd be interesting, and more fun and adventureous that living in doom and gloom like the dark knights, or pure heartlessness like the dawn mercenaries. I'm just living each day to the full, cuz you can never know when you're time might be up."

Sora sighed and looked in the Dojo toward Maix. "I went with the Holy knight in hopes that maybe I could find a way to cheer him up....so far... no luck... but I can't give up on him, he's all I've got left and although he says he won't, Idon't want him to and up like our dad did.

Erak looked over where Sora was staring, where her brother was. He kinda felt bad for being so nosy, but he just had to ask. "If you dont mind me asking, what exactly happened to your father?"

Sora's cheerfulness fell but she still smiled. You could tell it had taken a toll on her ad she was fighting the erge to let it torture her. "when we were little our family was normal... we were twins and our personalities were different.... but things... change.... there was something I noticed in our parents that Maix didn't.... I snooped around and... I figured out what.... mom was with another guy....our dad found out." She said She looked at the lake. "It had a ripple effect.... Our dad found out and it drove him to insanity.... he really loved her... he couldn't live without her.... it took over his life and at night...me and maix were talking...he was asking me a riddle..." She said smiling almost laughing at thier childhood. Like she missed it. "He always did that... but there was an eerie silence... and then a scream.... we went to see what it was... There was a woman on the ground dead...blood on the floor... and then...the killer, in the end killed himself.... I wanted to scream... I wanted to cry.... I loved them both so much and... then right infront of pur eyes.... it was like they disapeared." She sadid staring blankly at the water. Letting it all soak in. It was like she was looking for an answer in the water. She soon noticed her eyes change color to that of her angel eyes. And her hair went blonde. She took on a different form but her expression stayed the same

It may not have seemed like it, but Maix had heard the whole conversation between her and not only Erak, but Loki as well. He knew it was hard for her to talk about things like this, so he stood up and turned around. He walked behind her, and put her hand on her shoulder. "Who's this?" He asked, knowing the answer already. It was at this time he figured he'd have a little fun with Loki. "Did you get a new pet?" He asked.

Sora looked up at Maix with her crystal white eyes. Her wings were now ouf of her back and her blond hair fell over one eye. "Maix....be nice...." She said then suddenly noticed his bones and remembered she hadn't been given the chance to fix him up. She decided that while he was busy messind around was the best time. So She focussed on the liquid in his body and realighned him bones freezing them in place. "Maix.... please try to get along with them..." She pleaded trying to keep him out of a fight.

Erak saw Sora's brother come up to them and ask who he was(or was it Loki). He smiled at him, although he doubted he'd smile back. He stuck his hand out to shake with him and said, "Hi, my name's Erak. And you're obviously Maix." He looked at Sora, then back at Maix, chuckling while he said, "Well, I can see you have you're sister's charming personality."

Sora blushed when he said something about her personality. Charming? was he being seriouse about her having a charming personality? Or was he just being sarcastic? Surely he was sarcastic.... no one had ever called her Charming before. She recited it in her head over and over again. Charming. It was like a new word to her. Yes she had heard it before...but never about her. She glanced at the water as if it was going to have the answer for her. True most of the time she did use the water almost as a crystal ball when in her angel form. Namely because her so called Crystal ball eyes were given the gift to see a few tiny glipses.... nothing to special just the slight Deja Vu every now and then. But alass this time the answer was not found. She looked simply muttered to where only she could hea. "Charming?" As though she was at a loss for words. In this case She truely was mistified by the word play and weather Erak was Sarcastic or not. She simply nudged Maix to say something back out of curtosy as she pondered for a while.

Sora looked up at Maix. It was awfully rude of him to say it like that. True it was a new situation....but it wasn't unbelivable. She looked at him with one eye as if to say 'oh gee...thanks for the suport' the other eye covere with her platnum blonde hair wich seemed to sparkle from the glow of the water. She wasn't too upset....just slightly hurt that he had never though of her like that and a complete stranger did. But then again...that was just Maix.

Sora sighed then got up. "I'm going to go make some food... it's almost lunch time and it's going to take a while to cook.... Maix...I'm going too make some dessert also but don't get your hopes up...... it will be a traditional Japanese meal... Erak your welcome to join us if you'd like..." She said then left to go cook the food when she finished she had a traditional japanese meal with all the best Japanese deserts such as Yama Snow, minazuki cakes, Hanagoroma, and lastly Hanakaida her favorite.
