Well Link's advanced moves got axed from what I heard, I liked to pull off the rapid stab but it got removed. and link got hit with the nerf bat, so he was less impressive.
BRAWL got catered to the casuals too much and the hardcore got left in the rain, and I liked rapid stabbing my enemies into the pacement.
now if Link's arrows were the explosive kind, we'd see a world of difference.
but my boy got hit with the nerf bat and ness got made uber cheap.
I spar with Marth without items, it's a fair fight.
battle Lucas or Ness, and it's rape with my a** getting violated.

Ness is exactly the same as in Melee... And the only difference for Link is that his up+B can be charged, his boomerang pulls enemies and items towards him, his hookshot now goes automatically to the ledge when used in mid-air, and he doesn't have the rapid stab anymore.
Seems like a lot more pluses than minuses there boy-o.
Besides, I thought you didn't like cheap tactics? Rabid stab = cheap.
And don't you try and pull a "other characters have rapid stab moves" card! Most have the repeated attack, but instantly go into a three or four move combo as soon as it connects.
Falco and Fox are the exceptions.... that I can remember off the top of my head.
PS: Why the ******** would Link get exploding arrows? Sure they showed up in Twilight Princess, but Link already has both bombs and arrows. Combining both in one move would be fool-hardy! Unless you had to actually take the time to equip each arrow you shoot with a bomb before hand. But then... well, it'd take too long, and be useless.
