Seo decided to drop the subject, So, I saw you fight that creepy Boogeymon. We would have helped, but we got attacked by some Chrysalimon. By the way, do you know how digivolution works? I mean, Agumon digivolved into GeoGreymon and defeated the Chrysalimon.

Seo was extremely confused. How the heck did we end up in the desert? Space is different here in the Digiworld, Seo. You could swim from the middle of the Ocean and find yourself in the desert in a few hours. Agumon explained. Seo attempted listening, but quickly got bored and began scanning the landscape. Hey! there's an arena in the distance! let's go watch the events!

As Seo and Agumon ran towards the arena, they were suddenly overtaken by a giant red wolf digimon. Hello. My name is Fangmon, and I could not help but notice that you were running towards the arena. Do you know that they are holding battles there? Umm.... Seo, I need to- Agumon started, but was cut off by Seo. Really cool! Can I join? Seo exclaimed, excited. Why not, kid. I think I can fit you in. All you need to do is come with me. Fangmon lead the pair into a dark, smelly room. Seo was confused, wondering why he was there, when suddenly the door shut behind him. Hey! What's the big idea!?!! shut up. I'm one of the "bad guys", a Nightmare Soldier, and you've just volunteered to participate in a deathmatch. Fangmon left with a smug smirk on its face.

Seo turned to Agumon, outraged. Why didn't you tell me this would happen?! Well, I was going to, but you cut me off. Agumon replied.
They argued like this for a while, until Fangmon appeared again. You're first battle is up kid, it's against 3 Cannonbeemon. Win, and I'll give you food. Lose, and I'll delete you if they don't The door then opened, and Fangmon shoved them into the main stage. Seo realized the danger he was in, and whispered to Agumon. Hey, let's run for it. Not gonna happen. Those are BlackWarGreymons guarding the doors. We can't fight our way out of that. The pair were set loose in the middle of the arena, next to the Cannonbeemons. Fangmon yelled Start! and the CannonBeemons immediately charged Agumon. In response, Seo yelled Digisoul Charge!, and Agumon digivolved to GeoGreymon. In the momentary chaos that ensued, GeoGreymon took out one of the Cannonbeemon with his Mega Burst, but the other two flew safely out of range and began pelting GeoGreymon with Nitro Stingers

As GeoGreymon got more and more hurt, Seo got angrier and angrier. In his head, he was thinking, These Cannonbeemons piss me off. Why can't they fight fair and stay within range?! The last straw for Seo was when the Cannonbeemons unleashed their Sky Rocket Mugens. A slew of missles struck GeoGreymon, and GeoGreymon fell. When GeoGreymon did not get up, Seo began yelling. Get up GeoGreymon! These insects are nothing! You can't get beat up by things! Get up and delete them, you coward! GeoGreymon lay unmoving, his body slowly becoming data. Seo became desperate and seriously pissed at all the digimon around him. Seo yelled one last time at GeoGreymon. Get up! You have to delete them. GET UP! GeoGreymon began glowing with a black aura. In synchro, Seo yelled Digisoul Charge! GeoGreymon was enveloped in a black light, and a fierce growling was heard from inside. GeoGreymon digivolve to: ShadowRiseGreymon! Suddenly, the light cleared, and there stood a black version of GeoGreymon, except with wings, armor, and a giant pistol attached to his left arm. Seo yelled Alright! in joy, but ShadowRizeGreymon, was not paying attention. He was too busy glaring at the Cannonbeemons. In a flash, ShadowRizeGreymon shot into the air, and began shooting bullets at the Cannonbeemon Shadow Revolver! ShadowRizeGreymon missed most of his shots, but quantity overcame accuracy, and the cannonbeemon were deleted. Seo yelled Good job ShadowRizeGreymon!, but it was like Seo did not exist. ShadowRizeGreymon began going berserk, shooting everything it saw. It was a matter of seconds, until most of the arena was destroyed

As the arena began to crumble the BlackWarGreymons disappeared, it seems that they were holograms. Shin instinctively cover Dorumon from falling debris. "What just happened?" Shin said as he covered Dorumon. "He dark digivolved....... it seems that negative emotions will cause this to happen." Dorumon said as he moved from the shield that Shin's body had created. "We have to stop him." Dorumon said as he jumped into the arena, sudden;y he digivolved to Dorugamon. Shin then cracked his knuckles. "Let's calm down that overgrown lizard." Shin said as he jumped onto Dorugamon's back. They then charged ShadowRiseGreymon.

Shin then jumped off of Dorugamon's back and punched ShadowRiseGreymon doing barely any damage. ShadowRiseGreymon then grabs Shin and throws him to the ground, but before he hits the ground Dorugamon breaks Shin's fall. "Thanks buddy." Shin said as he pat Dorugamon's head. Shin then jumped off of Dorugamon. "Power Metal!!!!" Dorugamon fires a flurry of metal orbs. ShadowRiseGreymon knocks the orbs away. ShadowRiseGreymon then fired at Shin and Dorugamon, they then both yelled out in pain. A cloud of dust hid Dorugamon and Shin, when it cleared Dorugamon had de-digivolved and was lying on the ground, Shin too was lying on the ground. ShadowRiseGreymon then flew down to the ground, he was going to finish them off. ShadowRiseGreymon attempted to crush them but he was suddenly stopped. Shin was using all his strength to prevent ShadowRiseGreymon from squishing them both. At the moment Shin's whole body was engulfed in the dark blue Digisoul. Shin then pushed ShadowRiseGreymon back, but collapsed. "Seo!!!! We can't stop him. Only you can...... Don't care if it's your fault!!!! Agumon is your friend! When this is over with you can tell him that you're sorry!" Shin said as he tried to catch his breath. He then stood up, Dorumon then stood up as well. "Until you get him to his normal self. We'll be holding him off." Dorumon said. Meanwhile ShadowRiseGreymon was getting up.
