"Hey, Laura." Eleira guided Mysterra to where the crestfallen young girl was holding two hatchlings in her hand. She smiled gently and placed her hand on Laura's shoulder.
"Don't worry. Stuff like this happens from time to time." Eleira said reassuringly, then turned to face Morgana, smiling with pride.
"My parents run an apothecary back where I live. I used to go out with my brother to gather plant specimens. I wonder how they're doing...I should visit soon..." Eleira trailed off, before holding her hand out to Laura.
"Come on, it's getting dark. We should follow Loona to the Wyvern." Mysterra snorted.
"Remind me again why the novice dragon keeper is offering someone with a bunch of adult dragons with flight ability a ride?" Mysterra shook her head at the rather obvious plot hole, of which the author apologises for. Author shall now return to the other side of the fourth wall. Eleira just groaned.
"Shut it, Mysterra."

Seeing the other girls on their respective dragons Loona nodded and Zeaus leapt into the sky. Flying was unlike any other sesation that you could experience. You were all alone in the air with no boundries. Nothing to stop you from falling. Loona listened to the whistling of the wind as they reached the volcano.
"There" Loona stated pointing to the crevice.
Loona guided the other riders to the landing platform. Upon landing Loona picked up the trumpet to call out the other dragons. Quickly the dragons poked their heads out of their caves and came to the landing area.
"Over to the left is a pond where you can let your water dragons play" Loona stated as Dratani rose from the surface.
"Welcome home" They all roared.
Loona walked over to the corner where Nador was standing like a statue. He was kinda shy, but also reluctant to get to know other dragons. He had been picked on when he was a hatchling.
Loona smiled seeing all her dragons. She looked into the nest she had made and noticed that her little green egg had hatched. Karlya and Nearda looked at the little hatchling.
"New playmate?" They asked excitedly.
"Yes. New addition to the family."
Loona was about to go look for some food for her guests when a group of eggs in the nest caught her attention. This was a surprise for her as there weren't any when she left that morning.
"What have we here?"
Naidon looked up. "We found the blue and darkgreen outside abandoned. Skeyeda, Kitraa, and I all have eggs."
"Fantastic!" Loona stated looking over the eggs. "The more the merrier."

Eleira look around in awe as she released the water hatchling into the pool. Lagiera splashed happily in the water, making friends with some of the other water dragons. Eleira smiled as she walked amongst the dragons, still holding the other eggs in her shawl. She stifled a yawn, surprised to find how worn out the day had made her.

Loona smiled and walked over to Eleira and noticed the yawn come from the younger girl.
"Come with me inside, I'll make you something to drink. Then we can talk raising dragons and tell history. Maybe even....set up trials and exercises to test our dragons in fun?"

Eleira smiled.
"That'd be nice. Thank you." Eleira decided to bring her eggs in with her, as she didn't know where else to put them, while leaving her hatchlings with Loona's dragons, hoping that their contact would make them mature.

Laura nodded, sighing. She really, REALLY didn't want to do this, but... before she followed the other, she set down the baby dragon... her stomach really hurt while doing this. She clung to her split tightly, before following the others, closing her eyes tight so that nobody would see her cry.
She had an excuse herself. She couldn't ride on any of her dragons, but she wouldn't be going into that here.
During the whole flight, and even after, she was zoned out, not really reacting to much around her. This didn't entirely have to do with the abandoned hatchling, as she did this a lot anyway.

Loona lead the girls into the kitchen and had them sit down while she made some tea and cocoa. She noticed that Laura was crying a little and walked over to her.
"Whats wrong?"

Morgona glanced at Kakra she had seemed dissapointed that she had gotten the same dragon more then twice but she couldn't have done what she had thought...But then again what if she had more then two dragons of the same kind would she keep them. Yes she thought to herself she probably would have but still, some people didn't need the same two dragons, it could cause unnecessary problems she was sure that some one else would take good care of it.
When Morgana landed she glanced up at the sky wondering where her other dragons had gotten to they were taking care of the other two hatchlings while she was giving special care to the ice ling.

Eleira turned from her eggs, that she had set on the table still bundled in her shawl, to turn to the young girl who haad tears running down her face.
"Laura?" she asked softly. Her train of thought stopped abruptly as the four eggs broke apart with a might crack, and four hatchlings tumbled out of the coloured shells.
"Ah!" Eleira gasped in shock. A little skywing had broken free first, trying out its wings which it had hatched with. The orange dragon simply curled up and went to sleep, while the red hatchling coughed numerous times, several smoke rings billowing from its mouth. the white hatchling seemed almost timid, as it seemed to want to stay within the safety of its broken egg. Eleira quickly checked their gender.
"Three girls and one male, that one being the white. And here I was hoping for all males. Oh well..." Eleira sighed, as the skywing landed gently on Morgana's shoulder, looking over at the other weak, skywing hatchling.

((Well my skywinged matured, but I can't just have her grow up in an instant as of yet.))
Morgana blinked surprised she had been so caught up in her own skywing she hadn't been paying attention her eyes widened in surprise as she felt the presense of a hatchling on her head. "Hello little one." She whispered in greating surprised slightly. "My skywings a female to...she whispered." Glancing down at the hatchling in her hands. She looked up at the hatchling on Morganas had and her eyes twinkled with delight. She let out a squeek as she flapped her wings exsperimently.
Morgana wondered how her other hatchlings were dowing. When to her surprise a full grown female two headed dragon glanced down at her. As well as her Guradian dragon. Which was also female.
"Well that was fast." She whispered sounding slightly surprised.

Laura jumped a little, having not seen Loona. "Um, um... it... it's nothing..." She started stroking her baby dragon's head nervously, wondering what Darby and Dactylorhiza would think of her. She didn't hear what Eleira said (though she did know she said something) due to how softly she spoke, but she was never given a chance to ask when the eggs suddenly hatched. She smiled. "How cute..."

Eleira smiled softly, trying to coax the shy white out of its shell. The orange dragon's eyes glowed for a second, and the white shell disintergrated. The white hatchling cowered slightly, before taking a few tentative steps forward.
Eleira smiled, looking out at her other dragons which she had left outside. They had matured into adults already.
"...Fast..." she remarked, smiling.

Suddenly as if some one had given the weak hatchling some engery mixture of some kind it jumped up and let it out squeal before landing on the ground without any effort and well running away.
"Wait come back here," Morgana yelped her eyes widening as she shot after the skywing. "Whats gotten into her..."She murmered to herself as she turned a corner just in tiem to see a full grown sky wing gleaming at her what ever weakness the hatchling had, had was know gone..."That must have been some potion."

Loona cooked some supper for every one and was happy to have this much company. A little pink dragon flew into the kitchen and landed on Loona's shoulder.
"Karlya..Whats up?"
"Just wanted to see whats cooking."
Loona stroked the hatchling.
"She froze herself. So she'll never grow up." Loona said looking at the other girls while she finished making dinner.
