Cutter stopped just outside the holt.
Skywise stopped beside him, grinning, ear to ear.
Leetah and the cubs came behind them
Caelestra would wind up beside snowracer and New Wolf who also followed.
Nightfall burst from the bushes ahead of them. "Cutter, Leetah, my friends, my eyes see with joy."
"What," skywise teased, "No joy for the rest of us?"
"Her heart is full with love for all the pack," Redlance said, smiling as he stepped out beside his mate.
Skywise chuckled. "Full of love for all the pack, so you share now?"
Nightfall chuckled a bit and nuzzled Leetah warmly. "Truly we touch again with joy, but what happened? You were gone, you and skywise and the cubs, And now we're together again, in a strange place and in strange forms...."
"Would that I knew," Leetah said softly. "But we are doing what we can to adjust."
Cutter nodded. "Nightfall, Redlance, this is New Wolf, and Snow racer, formerly of the Go Backs, they came to find the, " he grinned a bit, "Legendary wolfriders. Back at the temporary holt are Two Moons, a story teller, and Bloodhunt. This is Caelestra, a friend of Skywise's."
"I'm sure," Nightfall said with a wry grin. She nodded to her warmly though. "Welcome, sister."
"As to what happened, we are still figuring things out. Apparently we all have memories that agree to a point, but some go further then others. I do not recall them vanishing," Cutter said softly.
"Then the highones have been kind," Nightfall answered, seriously. "However, there is something else I doubt you recall then," she grinned and howled.
Little Tyleet came tumbling out of the bushes with a giggle, a branch with some leaves sticking out of her hair.
"High ones bless. A cub. You two....?" Cutter asked.
"Yeah," Redlance said nuzzling Tyleet and pulling the twig from her hair gently.
"So you were finally recognized," Cutter said, smiling warmly.
"Actually," Nightfall said, with a grin, "We took for ourselves, with the help of a healer." She smiled warmly at Leetah. "Even if whatever happened caused you to not remember, we owe you a life debt, my friend."
"You owe me nothing," Leetah said warmly.
"Come, we can discuss this all in the holt. It could use your help, Treeshaper, if you are up for it."
"Of course, my chief. Highones it is good to be back with family. This new land is odd. As are these forms," Redlance said.
"I'm half surprised Cutter Kinseeker here hasn't set out on some grand quest to explore all of it, looking for more elves," Nightfall put in.
"Not for lack of wanting to," Skywise teased, walking back with all of them. "He wants us to find the rest of our pack first, if possible."
"That does sound like cutter," Redlance agreed, gently nudging Tyleet forward with his nose.

She blinked and smiled at Nightfall at her greeting. These were obviously two more of the missing pack. And there was another child. She really had to figure out this recognition stuff... she still didn't understand what it was that LET them have or not have children.

They got back to the holt before Ember's self control broke and she ran up to the new cub. she tagged Tyleet with her nose. "Catch me if you can! you too suntop! Last one to catch me's a human!" she cried, racing off.
"Stay close," cutter growled. "We don;t know this holt yet, there might be humans."
"Aw!" Ember cried.
"Shall we watch from above?" Skywise asked Calestra.

He grinned and got onto her back. "We'll keep an eye on them, cutter."
"Sure," Nightfall said, grinning, "and who's keeping an eye on you."

::so they circle a while, watching the cubs play. Redlance and cutter discuss, then Redlance sets to work on father tree. An hour or so passes before Caelestra would hear a sending.::
*Willing to come down from there?* Nightfall sent, looking up at them.

Caelestra smiled down *Willing yes of course! Wanting... is another thing all together..* But slowly started to head for the ground.
