Arch grabbed onto his side of the hammock with one hand, putting his other arm around Ruby, in case she lost her balance.

Arch the Angel Arch grabbed onto his side of the hammock with one hand, putting his other arm around Ruby, in case she lost her balance. "Mabeh beihn ahl the whai uhp hea' ahint such a ghud ahdeah..." Ruby nodded, "I think you're prob'ly right, Arch." She stuck the apple in her mouth and crawled over him to grab her bag when another gust of wind blew. She fell out, but was able to grab hold of a branch. She looked at Arch, the apple still in her mouth "helmpf?"

Ruby_Rain Ruby nodded, "I think you're prob'ly right, Arch." She stuck the apple in her mouth and crawled over him to grab her bag when another gust of wind blew. She fell out, but was able to grab hold of a branch. She looked at Arch, the apple still in her mouth "helmpf?" Arch quickly spun himself over, his left arm grabbing onto the one she was holding onto the branch with. He quickly realised he didn't have the leverage to pull her back up, what with the wind, and the hammock shaking on it's own. "Dhamnit...Ruby, ahmma beh raght thea..." Arch said as he let go of her arm, jumping out of the hammock himself, spreading his wings and flying under Ruby. "Ruby! Leht goh ahn ahl catch yeh!"

Ruby let go and closed her eyes. Arch dived down, stretching his arms out as he flared his wings, stopping quickly and catching her in his arms. He looked down at her and smiled, slowly descending to the ground, Ruby in his arms.

Arch walked to the bus, and, despite all odds, there was not a line behind the bus, due to it being parked in the middle of the road. He climbed in, leaving the door open for Ruby.
