"And this is?" Alex said, referring to the fact that he was immoble, the only thing he could move was his head. Smiling, he looked up at her and laughed. "Soooo, when do I get released? Or do I have a life-sentence? Cause' that would suck..." Or would it? He was puzzled by his own thoughts as that went through his head. What am I thinking...?

"Well I guess I have to release you..Well...part of you.." Maddy let go of one of his hands and slowly slid off. Making sure she still had his other hand. She slowly let go and laid down on her bed. Smiling slightly. "Now was that so bad?" Maddy asked, closing her eye's she inhaled deeply. She was actullying having fun. She hadn't had fun in a long time. "I don't think roming with you is going to be so bad after all.."

Alex was suprised at how nice it was for her to be holding his hand, squeezing it before she let it go. "Yea... Maybe not so bad after all..." It was strange, he hadn't enjoyed being around anyone for a long time, and this one person... Maddy was changing everything.

Maddy blushed lightly. "So he doesn't think roomign with me is going to be a complte waste of his time..Well that changes something ra-s**t!" Maddy had a tendancy to think aloud. Her face turned a dark red and she bruried her face in the pillow trying to hide it.

Alex laughed as she stuffed her head into the pillow. Still red himself, he walked oer to her bed. "What's wrong?" He sighed and poked her in the back as he tried to get her to come up. "Come on, tell me!"

Maddy sighed and gave up she let him lift her face. Turning around she stretched and got up. "Nothing..My uh I was uh...Kinda blushing I was kinda thinking aloud..It's embrassing..I'm sorry.." Maddy's pale face turne d alight pink. She smiled slightly relixing he was blushing a bit himself.

"Oh... Well don't we all have something like that? I like to fall over ladybugs and such myself..." He grinned and sighed. "Well I've got to go get my computer, sorry." Standing up, Alex walked out of the hotel and drove a couple minutes to his house. Walking in he piced up his laptop, ignoriing the people in his house.

Maddy sighed and waved good-bye to him. She sighed once the door was closed she relized he didn't have a key. Oh well not like she'd be gone anywhere anyways. She smiled slightly as she picked the gun back up. Tiwrling it around her fingers. She tossed it back, grabbing her knife she quietly lined her arm. Occasionaly wincing in pain.

Alex climbed back into the driver's seat of his car and pulled back into the road. Once he was back at the hotel, he pulled out the laptop and carried in the crook of his arm as he walked pass the desk-lady. "Wazzap?" He asked, grinning as the woman looked up at him puzzled. Getting back to the door labeled '1', he realized he had forgotten his key on the table. "Maddy are you in there?" He asked loudly as he knocked on the door.

Maddy ran franticly around the room. She slid his key under the door, "It's under the door!" Maddy called as she serched for something to dab at the blood with. Maddy grabbed one of her sweaters. It didn't cover arms much but hopefuly eh wouldn't notice.

Alex reached under the door and there was his key, wondering why Maddy hadn't just opened the door, he unlocked it to see her running around. "Woah! Where's the fire?!" As he watched her, a small trickle of blood went down her arm and he looked her over. What happened, are you hurt?" Grabbing her arm and pushing up the sleeze, his mouth formed a small 'o' at the cuts. "What did you do this for?!" Sitting down on the bed, he glared up at her, waiting for a reason.

"No fire...We're not dying.." Maddy commented flatly, her voice broke on the word we're.. She stood there stuned, red marks forming on her skin from where he was holding. She clentched her teeth and whisperd pained. "Your grip...it's rough...your hurting me.." She slowly slid her arm of has hand and pulled down her sleve. Her voice was caught in her throte. She was chocking on the air. Why couldn't she just tell him, not like he'd get hurt if she did. He probably didn't. She sat down on the floor and looked at him. She laughed quietly, a bit bemused by his look. She finally chocked it out.."I don't know...I guess I've been so alone that when you were here I didn't feel the need for it..And when you left, I was all alone, again..."

Alex sighed and released her arm letting put the sleeve back on. "Oh... ummmmm, ok." He wasn't really sure of what to say so he just looked up at the ceiling, staring at it blankly. Then he plopped down next to Maddy. "Say... Do you need something squishy?" He grinned slightly and looked down, embarrased at what he had just said.

Maddy smiled and looked at Alex. "Why yes, yes I do.." Maddy hesitantly wrapped her arms around Alex, poking him in the back. "Squishy..." Maddy pulled back and blushed. Ruffling Alex's hair. "Your my squishy. and I shall call you Squishy.And you shall be my Squishy.." She smirked and hugged herself.

Alex looked up as he was hugged, and grinned. "I like being squishy!" After Maddy ruffled his head, he sighed and leaned against the bed behind him. Humming quietly to himself the batman theme song, he tucked his knees under his chin.
