Color rushed into her cheeks. "My emotions betray me, Master. They lie and they scheme and they get me nowhere. My loyalty to you is stiff as volcano rock, solid as diamond, strong as oxygen. I do feel strong emotions towards you, My Lord. But I am not prepared for the consequences of those emotions, and no matter what my loyalty to you, I fear that some loyalty to myself and my own emotions blind my path to serving you. For when I fear for you, I cannot imagine you gone. And when I know that you care not about your puppets, I become sad. Those are the feeling which I must dispose of. They weigh me down like a boulder on a hummingbird. For my loyalty to be completely to you and to you alone, I must vanquish those disgusting feelings."

"I apologize, My Lord," Sadis said, stiff as ever. She closed her eyes and she smiled slightly, but so that Her Lord would not see. "And You, Master? Where have emotions gotten You?"

"I have one companion and one Master, My Lord. My companions, over the years, I have loved them. And loving them has brought me nothing but fear. I fear that Your Lord is simply to dispose of me in the end. Death, I have no fear of death, My Lord. I fear your rejection. It is twisted." She giggled. "However, one day we'll be free of this disgusting world that you care to conquer." She giggled again. "I hope to be at your side all the while."

Athos looked at her blankly. "I will not dispose of something that is undeserving of it, you have proven yourself so. You have the right and the desire to stay by my side, and I have the desire to keep you there. However, you must learn to love those around you, and love those whom care about you. Don't be a stickler," he chuckled darkly.

She looked up at him and nodded. "We didn't need to kill the spider, no....She was a good girl. She always was a perfect girl." Sadis touched her back where the spider had last been and smiled. "My Lord has a lovely laugh."

Ignoring her comments about the spider, Athos gave another, well-humored, chuckle. "Thank you, dear. Now tell me, what are you plans for the rest of the night?" He knew the white wolf on his bed was close to waking up, not that it matter particularly.

Sadis smiled. "Well I was planning on doing what Your Lord told me to do. However I can see that you do not require assistance at the moment. So my plans include a nice long nap and then going and enjoying the night, mingling."

"Mm, sounds lovely." he stood up and stripped himself of his coat and shirt, laying over his chair. "I do hope you enjoy yourself," he started to walk towards the bed when a white wolf came into view. He walked past it, and it looked at Saids, then followed Athos. It had it's tail between it's legs.
