hallgod33 lol. At least he posted on topic. But guess what? I'm going to start learning Kali soon!!! Kali is so awesome. You can apply the principles to like...anything. You can use a pen, a lamp, bare hands, a belt, anything. It's pretty crazy. THREAD REVIVAL POWERS ACTIVATE!!!I'd like to learn that, so I could go into any office supply store and have an arsenal... twisted twisted twisted twisted

@ romanov: That's the problem for me. I need a blade with some substance. I fight edge to edge, not flat to edge. I mess up blades a lot... T.T
@ Chemosh: I find using my drumsticks work quite well. =P

well now i think you are just contradicting yourself dude... unless i'm not understanding you properly...
but yeah.. i personally like the celtic longsword anyway, but i adore thin longsword blades as well. especially if the have a flat top and curved bottom. i preffer them still double-edged bladed though.

well, dane, you say you fight edge to edge, but that you need a wider blade rather than a thin one. a thin blade is easier to get the sharp end wher it needs to be than the wide blade. i figure you mean this because you say you mess blades up alot.... but then i wonder if you ean that you are good at aiming the blade and so prefer the extra mass of a wider blade, and that by messing blade sup you mean that they get dull so quickly from all the edge-striking... is that it?

so? what's wrongw ith bringing it back, as long as we stay on topic? better than starting a whole new thread about the same thing, or taking over a different thread with talk about this topic...

prince romanov well, dane, you say you fight edge to edge, but that you need a wider blade rather than a thin one. a thin blade is easier to get the sharp end wher it needs to be than the wide blade. i figure you mean this because you say you mess blades up alot.... but then i wonder if you ean that you are good at aiming the blade and so prefer the extra mass of a wider blade, and that by messing blade sup you mean that they get dull so quickly from all the edge-striking... is that it? Eh... I didn't get half of that... The reason I prefer a wider blade is because I like a little umph in my blade, in case I can't really swing, and am just flicking my (pretty strong) wrists. Also, I'm not liking smaller blades because, really, they'd proly snap with the way I fight. I swing hard, and fast, not light and fast, using the blades sharpness. You know? So I can do it with anything, not just a sword.

okay I see what you mean, you prefer to put some weight behind your strikes and a bigger blades adds some heft to the attacks.
