reiko burst into the room. "drake!" but he was already gone. She looked around and saw the note. "mist..." she whispered and collapsed onto a chair. she didn't even remember that she had a squad waiting for her, or that she was supposed to be in the hokages office. she had been going, but had overheard his conversation with drake. she had run home as fast as she could, but it was too late. She put her head in her arms and cried.

She wiped her eyes and got up and left for the hokages office again.

Reiko walked into her bead and flopped down onto the couch. she twirled her hair in her hand. then slowly fell asleep.
