Kanna looked at the ground when she heard the question. "I-I know because.....I've been to this school before. Last year, but I was pulled out and sent to the hospital." She said quietly. She covered a huge scar that was on her left arm with her shirt.

"What the heck happened?" she shuddered, "The last time I saw a scar like that, I can't believe it...." Scath shrugged and sighed, "You don't have to tell us, but it might be easier if you did."

Kanna 's attempt to hide the scar failed. "I-Its nothing. Really." Kanna said trying to change the subject. The last thing she wanted was them knowing that she was a mixture of creatures. She looked around and saw some older students staring at her. She recognized them. Oh no.... She thought to herself. They smiled evilly towards her.

Scath put an tentitive arm around her shoulders, "Don't worry about them, you'll be just fine with us, right guys?" she looked towards the others giving them a look that said "agree with me or you'll regret it."

Kanna was surprised when Scath put her arm around her. "Thanks." She said. She really had made a few friends. She looked back up at the guys who were looking at her. They glared for a moment longer, then walked away. Kanna was relieved. She started walking with the others.

Natsori smiled. "Right. Besides, you shouldn't let anyone scare you for even a moment. If someone starts picking on you or something, you just have to show them that they're not going to affect you." Natsori said patting her on the shoulder. "Thats what my m-" He stopped. He didn't like the subject that the conversation had led to. He cleared his throat. "Well now at least we know someone who knows the school. Now instead of wandering around and getting lost we have someone who knows the school well enough to help us out." He said smiling. "Thats gotta be a big advantage, right?"
Tsukune stared at the floor as he walked. As those older students that had been staring at Kanna had left he had heard some of the things they were saying, and they weren't nice. Also when they had noticed he was looking at them Tsukune had felt a sort of evil presence around him. As if they were really considering killing him. He shook that thought away. It was just because he was a human and they were all monsters, and to him that was scary. "So um...guys, where exactly are we headed? Those, kids were heading the other way so, does that mean we aren't going to the ceremony?" Tsukune asked his voice slightly squeakier.

Kanna smiled when they tried to comfort her. "Thanks." She said. She looked around. "The ceremony is through here." She said and opened a door to the left. When she did there was a big applause and cheering. "This is it." She told them and walked through. She saw a few familiar faces, not friendly faces though. She tried not to let that bother her though.

Natsori walked right behind her and anyone that looked at her funny he just stared right in the eye and they quickly looked away. Another trick his mother had taught him. When he got to the group he took a seat and listened to the ceremony but soon he slumped down in his chair. He didn't really like things like this.
Tsukune walked awkwardly to a seat and looked away whenever someone looked at him. He felt weird, like he was the monster. He was all alone in a school full of people that weren't people. He was all alone in a whole new world.

Once the ceremony was over Kanna looked around. "Natsori, Tsukune, I'll be back in a minute, ok?" She told them and started off out of `the building. She walked over to a grave yeard and looked at one of the tombstones. It read "Katsumi Higurashi." She knelt down and looked at it. "Hay. I'm back again."

Natsori had fallen asleep halfway through the opening ceremony but he didn't snore so it was hard to tell because he had taken a baseball cap ouy of his bag and put it over his eyes. As everyone began standing up and walking out of the room he was the last one sitting down and practically falling out of his chair. Tsukune nudged him and he woke up. He pulled the cap off and looked around. After remembering where he was he stuffed his cap in his bag and snuck behind someone from the front row who hadn't left yet.

Kanna soon left the gravestone and walked back to where everyone was. She saw Natsori and Tsukune. "Hay." She said.

Natsori rubbed his eyes clean of what he called sleepy sand even though the name was kinda kiddy.. "Hey. So y'know where Nekonome sensei's class is?" Natsori asked letting his hand drop back down to its normal spot by his side. He smiled and scratched his head. "Its over in the east side of the school or something, right?" He asked clearing his throat.
