Damian used his cane to stand up from his chair. True, he couldn't see much either, but he knew there was a great expanse of fields and greenery just waiting for them to know better.
"Let's go see it," he said, extending his hand to her.

Lorey couldn't wait, either. She'd seen some pictures and told them how to clean up the front of the house, but everything inside was yet to be really seen.
"Well, come on! Let's get everything and go!" she laughed.

Teagan, though, was not laughing. She was waiting outside, waiting for everyone to come out of the ship. How she needed to see them again, just to be happy. Ever since Nat had led her on and damaged her hopes, Teagan had been very subdued.

Raquel took his hand in hers, letting Lorey and Richard lead the way. Though as they exited the ship, Raquel's eyes widened a bit more if that were possible, and she seemed unable o breath slightly, the fresh country air hurting her lungs just a bit, making her cough lightly. Though what told she was alright was her smile. She radiated as she took in the limited view they had from the docks, unable to move for awhile. "I-it's...like nothing I've ever seen..." She managed to croak quietly as she gripped his hand a bit tighter, trying not to tear up.

Richard smiled, letting the two behind him get a feel of Druis like they had when they had first arrived. He led Lorey down the ramp to greet Teagan who looked not as chipper as she had when he left. "Hey! There's our blooming florist! Let me introduce you to our friends- This is Damian Centurion, who's giving away Lorey, and Raquel, Who I think is Lorey's maid of honor..." He shrugged, remembering he never really learned Raquel's last name in all the time he had known her.

Teagan's eyes widened. Raquel...? As the couple stood in their distracted state, it gave Teagan a perfect opportunity to scope her out. Lovely, and with a man who looked incredibly wealthy just by looks of his cane and finely tailored outfit...
It just had to be the Raquel Nat had been talking about.

"Teagan? Something wrong?" Lorey asked with a slight frown on her face. The way she was acting, it was like she'd seen a ghost.

"Ah! No, nothing, just looking at their faces! Like they've never seen green before!" Teagan started laughing at herself more than anything before taking Lorey into a hug. "Now, I know you guys have a few weeks for planning and rehearsing and everything, but the flowers should be right as rain for you guys."

But nothing would make Nat as prepared for this wedding. Not if he was in it along with Raquel.

Raquel finally managed to snap out of her reverie, clearing her throat a little as she continued walking down with Damian, hearing there had been an introduction. She knew they'd have time alter to look around for themselves.
"Hi there, Teagan was it? You're so lucky to live in a wonderful place like this!" She exclaimed with a big smile, holding out her free hand to shake.

Richard meanwhile was nodding to the thought about the flowers. One less thing for him to worry over. Now he just had to call for a ride of some sort to get them and all there luggage to their home. "Now, Damian, We do have someone staying in our guest room at the moment...mother will be coming in and she'll be staying at a local bed and breakfast. Our friend can sleep on the couch, he wont mind in the least bit if you and Raquel want to have the guest room, but you're also welcome to stay in an inn. Its all up to you." He offered, mulling the options around in his head.

Damian watched Raquel make her introduction to the pale woman, before turning to Richard.
"We'll stay in the inn, so you two can have the house to yourselves." Damian gave him a wink and devilish flash of teeth.

Teagan merely smiled and nodded the best she could. Her heart was beating incredibly fast as her mind raced through options of contacting Nat. He had to know. But how, without causing a big scene?
"Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy it," she said sweetly. "So, are y'all hungry? We could get some food in you either here in town or back at the house."

"You know I'm dying to see your house Lorey! We should just head right over." Raquel smiled, not admitting she wasn't feeling really up to eating. She was a bit light headed from the rush of clean air, and hoped it didn't show. She had been working on not being so sickly for Damian's sake, but she hadn't realized how far she needed to go until coming out here.

Though amidst her distractions, excitement, and health concerns, Raquel's eyes flashed. She could sense something was bothering this Teagan girl terribly, though she wasn't sure what. The handshake gave it away almsot immediately. She tried to ignore it though. She wasn't about to just blatantly ask her what was wrong. She hardly knew her for heavens sake.

Richard blushed a bit, looking away and rubbing the back of his neck, nodding. "Uh- alright then...um...Teagan, how bout you show them where the Inn is and let them drop off their things. Then we can all head off towards the house." He turned and whistled for Enty to get some of the luggage ready while he rented a speeder or some large vehicle for them all to fit.

Damian nodded, and went inside the inn to find themselves a suitable room. And by suitable, he wanted the best.

Meanwhile, Lorey tried her best to get Teagan to relax a bit. She could tell something was wrong, but attributed it to shyness for meeting new people. They spoke about the flowers they would use, along with the colors of the wedding. It seemed to be mostly royal blue and white, which was just fine for Teagan to work with. There would be a lot of yellow in the bouquet, she said, for contrast.

But Nat! How on earth would he survive this?

Raquel joined in the chatter just a bit, but excused herself to help take their bags inside, knowing Damian couldn't carry much with his cane and wobbly leg. Though they were told a 'bellboy' of sorts would take their belongings up, so they figured they could just leave with the others.

Richard had meanwhile found a clean energy burning vehicle that they had for rent in the town, for tourists and other sorts. It was big enough to squeeze them all in, so Richard had them load up. "Ok you all ready? Lets head out!" He called cheerily as he go into the drivers side.

"Yeah, let's go!" Teagan shouted, though really, she dreaded everything coming. Nat... poor Nat, he'd never see this coming at all, she thought.

As he got into the car, Damian took a seat next to Raquel. "We got the king's suite," he said proudly. "It was just freed up, lucky us. So this stay on Druis should be as nice as it can be."
Though the inn was rather quaint, and Damian wasn't sure what made the king's suite so luxurious. Still, he looked forward to it knowing Raquel could be comfortable.

--------------

Richard drove them all into town, stopping at the hotel first to drop off Raquel and Damian. "You two get some rest, and feel free to go sightseeing tommorrow. There wont be anythign going on back at home. Just Lorey and I unpacking and getting settled." Richard explained as Raquel helped Damian out of the car.

"Ok, but if you need any help-" She still offered, though knew they needed to nest together. That and the idea of traveling around the sites of druis excited her greatly.

Once they hopped out, the two waved off Richard and Lorey, leaving them to their shopping. "So...time too see what makes this presidential suit so nice?" She asked with a small smile, still trying to be happy despite Nat's reappearence.

Damian waved the others off. They really did need to make their house a home, and having guests over wouldn't help any of that.
"Yes, let's go see. Here's hoping it's nice. I know it's air conditioned, so no worries about the heat."

And so he took her inside and somehow, they managed to get to the third floor on the stairs with his bad knee. It did pain him greatly, but it couldn't be helped, so he just kept his mouth shut tight.

Once in front of their door, he fished the key out of his pocket and opened it. The room was quite lovely, with everything they would need for a comforting stay in Druis.
"Ah... quaint," he thought aloud. "Do you like it?' he asked, going in and immediately sitting down on the bed to ease his tired knee and leg.

Raquel smiled warmly, shutting the door behind her as she looked about. "Its lovely..." She nodded, coming to sit next to him.

"Ah love.." She felt his knee and frowned. "Sit back here." She made him sit back on the bed, propping him up with pillows. "Its still a little hot in here, and I want a look at that leg." She explained, reaching to unfasten his pants. "So dont get any ideas." She smirked, giving him a seductive wink as she gently took his shoes off, so she could make him comfortable in his boxers.

Though she had to grimace when she saw his knee. "Damian-" She sighed. It had slight discoloration from over strainging it. She stood to fetch him some ice. "You should have gotten a room on the bottom floor. I honestly dont care if we're in a regular room or a king suite!" She sighed exasperated as she went through their bags as well, seeing if there was any pain medication in there.

It was almost humourous how much Raquel still worried over Damian, even though he had been stable and fine for a while now.

"Well I do care." Damian sighed and rested his head back on his pillow. She did have a point. Being on the top floor wasn't worth the strain to his leg, though he was sure to find a ay around this. Perhaps a different way of walking down them.
"Regardless, it is just a little pain and I'm sure everything will be fine once I rest it. Please don't worry yourself on our vacation..."
PostPosted: Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:21 pm

"I'll rest when your not in pain hm?" She leaned out the bathroom door, smiling to him, before disappearing again. She returned a moment later with an asprin and a little pack of ice made from a small towell. "Here..." She gently placed the pack on his knee, handing him the asprin with a little cup of water. "I suppose the extra oomph of sexiness comes with a price..." She couldn't help but smile solemnly as she twidled his cane, sitting herself next to him on the bed.

"You like the cane?" That made him laugh. It made him feel like a cripple or a pimp. He wasn't sure which was better. But as she handed him the tools to his getting better, something struck him. She was doing for him what he had done for her the night they had met. Sitting in a hotel room, with a homemade pack of ice and a bit of aspirin for the pain...

"Things have reversed, haven't they? From when we met, to now..." he said, taking what he needed and thanking her.
