Avalon noticed where Ty's eyes lingered for a moment and smiled. He was....interresting for a human boy, he wasn't really her type...then again she didn't really know him enough to judge that but she would never fall for a human. That would be like....a shark and a tadpole, they would never work out.
"So...Ty...are you in Battle of the Bands? Because you are really good...it'd be nice to have some actual competition around." Avalon smiled wickedly, she knew how good her band was but she didn't know about him. It might have come as a surprise if she wasn't careful.
Scoping out the competition was something Avalon ususally did. It was natural to her, like taking blood from humans, it was just natural. She liked to get a leg up on the competition and that was meant in a very non-sexual way.

"Well, I gotta talk to everyone else, but if they're half as serious as I am they'll already know about it." He was still somewhat new to the area, and didn't know if the Battle of the Bands was a yearly thing or a once in a lifetime opportunity; either way he'd do anything to win at least a cut of that $10,000. He switched styles again, playing 4 chords in a repeating pattern, sounding a lot like Blink-182, but definitely not one of their songs, and he never once broke eye contact.

Avalon laughed aloud. It was a most melodious laugh, one that she hardly used.
"Well, at least it's my eyes you're looking at." Avalon teased lightly.
"You are really good....you don't even look at your strings, gives you more time to look at me huh?" Avalon was on a roll, she usually didn't play around so much, it wasn't really her style, but Ty made her...so technically it was his fault she was having so much fun playing with her 'food'.
Actually, she hadn't thought about whether or not she would take blood from him. When she took blood from people, preferably men, it was a blissful experience for both people, it wouldn't hurt him but...she didn't know if she was up to it or not. It would make him either, a slave to her for life, or he would find out about her and she couldn't have that, it would hurt her band members to have someone know about who and what they really were.

Ty gave her a half smile, he never really did much more, "Why not stare at someone who's beautiful? Plus you're different." He put more emphasis on "different" than was necessary, but he had a tendency to say stupid things around girls.

Avalon smirked. Different? Oh, he had no idea how different she actually was, but she was never going to tell him that. It would ruin everything and then she and the band would have to move and god knew that she didn't want to do that. She had already gotten settled down, she liked it in the city.
"Differnt? What's your definition of different? White make-up and a big clown nose? Or something else?" Avalon smirked at the 'something else'.
Of course she was differnt, her whole band was like that. She'd never known anyone else, except for the werewolves but she hated them and would never affiliate herself with those sorts. Avalon liked to believe that they were more....refined, well, except when they had caffiene in their systems and that was when things usually turned ugly...or crazy, both usually came around and some point.

"You have secrets that you don't tell anyone. Plus you have an eerie sense about you." He knew something was up. He didn't even know her, he didn't need to, and he knew there was something she had hidden from the world. He continued strumming at te guitar, throwing chords together to make a fast paced happy Blink-182 sounding song.

Avalon smiled again her pearly white teeth glittering with the lights.
"You...don't know how right you are Ty." She took his hand and pulled out a pen from her pocket, she stashed it in there from when she was writing down lyrics.
"You can call me, whenever you want, just make sure you don't rub it off on your guitar, there are no second chances." Avalon flirtatiously instructed him.
"Anytime, anywhere." She winked, putting her pen back in her jacket pocket.
"So....tell me why you're here alone? Don't you have a girlfriend to hang out with or did she ditch you today to go do something time consuming like shopping or getting her nails done?" Avalon asked, her elbows resting on the table and her chin resting on her palm.

He pulled out his phone with his right hand and pulled off complex triplets while programming the number into the little Motorola Razr. What he was playing as he did so sounded somewhat similar to the solo in Avenged Sevenfold's "Scream." He put the phone back in his pocket and went back to chords, "Ely called me..." He mumbled to himself. He'd been to absorbed in playing like he always was and didn't feel it vibrating.

Maia left the coffeshop in vain and kicked a piece of trash as she left. She sighed and picked it up, "Gawd awful people," She muttered and held her bass case behind her head as she stretched, "Aww, I should've ordered some coffee at least," She turned around where she stood and almost knocked a tall woman over, "Sorry," She sighed and smiled apologetically, revealing sharp, white teeth. The woman high-tailed it out of there, not bothering to look back. "Whatever, I get it all the time, you wouldn't be the first," She spat after her and pushed the coffee shop door open. Once inside she ordered four shots of black coffee while she pushed back her hair. "Y'know any bands looking for a bassist?" She asked the cashier hopefully, he looked away quietly as if he hadn't heard her, "Fine then, I'll ask them," She gestured to the several people with their instruments out, even though there were two bassists there. "Yo," She called and carried her coffee to them, she looked quickly at them all, if they were vampires, she'd have to make a run for it, so she took a long swallow from her drink, "Do you know any bands looking for a bassist? I'm not looking in any newspapers or whatever, I just need to know."

The increasing boredom of sitting down and thinking had gone to Alice's head. It had gotten to boring for her to just sit there. Alice swung over the cello from her back and took it out of it's case. Her cello was a beautiful red. She took out her bow and began to play random notes. Alice ignored the girl's question. She didn't like talking to random people on the street, she was also too shy to answer. Alice just continued playing the notes on her cello.

((Love that signature, I could watch it all day.)) Maia looked over at the girl playing the cello, "Heh, that's a beautiful instrument you have," She smiled, it was a bad habit, and her sharp teeth were exposed again, "I play cello too, it's an amazing thing." She quickly stopped smiling to hide her abnormalities and sipped her coffee quietly, if she couldn't get an answer from these people, she at least wanted to leave on good terms. ((Because I'm confused, I'm assuming Alice is in the coffee shop))

There is a castle on a cloud....
Elyon and her sister drank tea, then went downstairs. Elyon grabbed her white sweater and called, "I'm going out!" shutting the door behind her. She smelled the fresh air, then scurried down the stone steps and off down the street. She was going to go see Ty first, she knew he'd be in the coffee house. That was were he always was.
....I like to go there in my sleep....

He rested the guitar against the wall in the corner, "Excuse me for a sec." He proceeded to order his usual Vente White Mocha Frap with two extra shots of espresso and an extra shot of flavored syrup. (For the sake of spelling I abbreviated it.) moments later he returned with the ice blended coffee with no whipped cream.

Avalon smiled.
"You still didn't tell me whether you had a girlfriend or not yet. Do I have to pry it out of you?" She smiled, imagining her in her penthouse with Ty strapped down to a Stretcher, the torture device used in medieval times. It was her favorite instrument by far.
She sat back in the seat and looked around, she smelled something foul. It smelled like...well...wet dog. Why she didn't know, Avalon looked around and found someone talking to Alice. She looked like a werewolf but it was hard to tell from where she was, the girl certainly smelled like a dog.
That....wonderful.....stupid dogs. Always butting in where they aren't wanted.
