*gives the thread a quick eyeballing*
Would you please make a "Showcase" banner for the next-to-last post? :3 That's where we'll keep all of the art we make and receive. Favorites will be thumbnailed and everything else will be text-linked.
We can change the "still setting up" text to something more like..."we're still in the process of getting all of our information and reference artwork together but some of us are ready to begin commissioning, so please browse around~"
We can even add little notes like (still setting up) or (ready to commission) to the list of individual posts that's in the first post. Looks like I'm the only one who's got requests ready to go though. XD

I had figured that we would link the art received in the individual character posts.
Hmm... What if we use the second page for received art and follow the same post pattern as on page one? Using the first post for received group art.
Yeah, I still am not sure how well I've done at pulling Sentelle's info together even though there seems to be a lot of it there.

The individual posts are already shaping up to be pretty long. XD And also there'll be some couple or group art as well. I thought a showcase to consolidate it all would be nice. :3
And I'm not sure either. @_@ This is my first time putting together an art request thread. I guess we'll find out if we're lacking anything when we start to commission people and get asked questions. *hee*
Thank you again, by the way, for all the work you've done on the thread. ^^

Do you like the idea of using the second page for the received art? Or no?
Well as an artist who, if I understand it correctly, is willing to draw Sentelle do you have any questions? Granted you've read the RP, but...
4laugh I needed to hear that tonight. Thank you! <3 *hugs*

My personal preference is "keep everything on the first page." Hm...I guess it all really depends on how much art we all end up getting. If it isn't much, then I guess keeping things inside the individual posts works fine too.
If it gets cramped we can always move to the second-page idea too. Good thing you nabbed those posts. XD
I actually sketched Sentelle with her hair up in a ballgown and am inking her into the lineup right now. I think most everything I need is in your post, since whatever is lacking in text is available in the avatar edit. I'm just having a hard time deciding what to make her armor look like. @_@ I want to get everything as close as possible to what you want it to look like, since it's possible people will use it as one of the main references to base art of her on.
I'll give you previews as I block things in, and if you'd give me suggestions and edits I'd be grateful. <3

Hmm... My preference would be to keep the art I've received of Sentelle in her post. For couple art, include it in both posts?
*gaspsqueal* Really? reallyreally? eek heart heart heart
Yeah, the armor in the edit just doesn't quite "fit" but it worked better than say the mythril chain that Gaia has. That's why I was hoping for some creativity on the part of the artists.
I'm happy to suggest changes... I hate to say it, but I'm not sure that I could not since she's my character.

Good good. Be as nitpicky as you like. I want the reference to be a good one, else what's the point? @_@
I've tried out the put-art-in-individual-post and it looks fine to me.
Would you like any sort of general theme to the armor, like spear-shaped leaves, or oak leaves, or waves like water, or...?
And what fingers does she wear the rings on? Are they simple coin-style signet rings?

*hugs* Oh, I'm so releived to hear you say that!
Okay, so we'll plan on that then.
*thinks* I wonder if there could be some sort of theme with sun and something kind of representative of Avery... _____________________________________________________________
Edit: Unbidden a line of Everytime by Britney Spears popped into my head. "Everytime I try to fly I fall, without my wings I feel so small."
*toys with the idea of wings... birds...*
Avery was also a rogue, but a good-hearted one.
She viewed him as reliable and strong. _____________________________________________________________
She doesn't wear them. She keeps them in her belongings and only uses them for letters and such.

I would like to design a campaign map for our RP. (Maps are one of the few things I would consider myself halfway decent at drawing). Jen would probably help me colorize the map. An example of a map made this way is here MRFG-RPMAP. Both Jen and I could probably do a little better than this now. I would want input of course of what kind of places people would want to see on the map. The original map would be blank (terrain only) and cities would be added later. Not necessarily all at once but as they become relevant. If we use the map we may give it its own thread, but I don't want to be presumptiousin creating one just yet.

Jenannen Eve: Do you understand what I was trying to say now or are you still confused?
Meri: I explained to him about the mule a little too late I guess. ^^;
Okay, so what do we need still to get the thread to the point of us trying to keep it bumped it? I understand. At first it sounded like you were going to do everything. X-D All cleared up now.

Wow. That's looking good!
Okay, let's see. First off don't base anything too closely off the info in the bio thread. I was going off the edit to figure out what she was wearing. blaugh Also while it looks nice on the edit, I don't think that the armor there is really what she's wearing. Though the base I am happy with. The armor shoulders would definetly not be that wide.
She would definely wear a shirt under her maille though. It is literally made out of moss (spun by the elves). I love the shirt that you drew, I could even see her in something like that, but it doesn't quite work as an undershirt with the armor. The neck-line needs to be lower, so she can easily grab the rings; a collar that high would make that a harder to do. Also I see them as short sleeves, maybe a nice edging that would just stick out from under the chain shirt (also short sleeves). no buttons or such on the shirt since it is meant to be comfortably worn under her armor. Her elbows would be bare and her lower arms would sport gauntlets.
Her hair is a little different from what I had pictured with the edit, but I like this better. It's beautiful! In the edit it was a lot longer than I think it would really be. It's probably about waist length. Mabye as far down as her butt, but not longer than that.
The face just doens't look like her for some reason, but I'm not sure why. ^^; Maybe it's the eyebrows they woudln't be so flat. I think they'd be round.
Ooh, the boots are pretty! I was hesitating about the wings, but if we leave it to the boots that may fit in nicely. I love the bit of a heel that you put on them, but I think that they wouldbe flat. While she would have a mount she still seems to do a lot of walking. As much as I love the idea of a jewel there probably woudln't be one there. She likes pretty things, but prefers simple beauty I don't see her in anything gaudy. Not that a jewel is... just... yeah.
I'm still thinking about what might fit with Avery nicely.
Thank you Meri! This is wonderful to help me figure out better what she is (and would be) wearing. <3 Somehow seeing something on paper rather than just in your mind makes it easier to work things out. :3

*makes notes*
Shirt: round, square, boat neckline? Close-necked with a slit or just wide enough to shove her head through? When you say "nice edging" do you mean edges cut into a pattern or straight edges with embroidery to deco it up? Should the bottom edge be straight across, since it's a simpler design?
How far down should the mail shirt go? Waist? Groin? Mid-thigh?
I can easily change the eyebrows. The eyes, too, if you think they ought to be narrower or more tilted or what have you.
SirK: Ooh, a map would be wonderful! So far we have the Kisan manor and surrounding land/mini-village including a stream running through his grounds. Then there's another village about half a day's journey away which I don't think anyone ever named. XD Then there's Parnell, which is a goodish-sized town. And then waaaay the heck away would be Mount Kiadawel and the temple at the top of it. In fact might be good to just leave it off the map for now and let the map build itself as we play. XD
Merro's been heading roughly west ever since she left her father's manor, so the places should be stuffed onto the map accordingly.
