 Annora looked up at him and stroked his cheek as he whispered. "I know. And like I promised when your father died... I swore I would always be here by your side no matter what." She smiled and kissed him taking his hand. "I would follow you anywhere." She said with a warm smile lightly squeezing his hand as she waited for him to show her the way.

He looked at her and pulled her out of the house, They got into his truck and Alex started the car. He drove downtown, and stopped in front of a jewlery store. "I need you to stay in here, Ok? I'll be out in a moment." He opened the door and ran inside, grinning.

Annora looked at the jewlery store. "Oh s**t... He's going to purpose.." Not knowing what to do she sat there stroking her stomach and turning red in the face. "Hi Baby... Daddy is being a butt head and is going to ask me to marry him. I want that baby... And in 6 months we are having you." She remembered that Alex didn't go to the clinic with her, so she had to tell him she was 3 months pregnant. Sighing softly she sat in the truck shuffling her feet and twiddling her thumbs.

The woman had just asked Alex if he was getting married and he said. "Oh s**t! That's what she's thinking right now..." The counter lady was taken aback by his choice of words and he glanced at her. "Oops sorry, I'm not getting married, I just need something nice. It's for a promise ring. I want a small diamond and white-gold ring." He explained. "Then they went into the technical stuff and since he had bought her rings before, he knew her finger size and everything. They had the model in stock currently and he wrote out a check for $892.99. He walked out and got into the Ford, he opened the box and said. "I swear on this ring that I will no longer break any more promises or do drugs." He recited the long list of offenses. "Do you accept the ring?" He asked.

Annora sat there waiting for Alex. She was feeling really sick at this moment so she leaned against her door and breathed slowly trying to calm down her stomach. "He sure is taking a while.." She mumbled to herself. It was cold outside, so the window was equally cold. Sighing softly she stroked her stomach. Hearing the door open Annora turned her head and looking straight back at her was a diamond ring with a white-gold band. It was nothing like he had ever bought her before. Listening to him talk made tears well up in her eyes. Letting them flow over when he asked if she accepted she nodded and wrapped her arms around him pulling him to hug her. "Yes..." She whispered in his ear. "A million times yes..." She held out the ring as he put it on her finger. She laid a hand on his cheek, pulling his lips to hers, kissing him softly, sealing the promise.

He relaxed as she accepted and he leaned into her kiss. When they were done, he rubbed her stomach, and asked. "I just have one question, how long until the baby is born?" He tensed, hoping that it would be soon, he didn't think he could stand the strain. he would go insane! He smiled as he watched her admire the ring and pulled her in for another kiss, he wiped away her tears, which were still flowing from her eyes and squeezed her hand as he started the car.

Staring at her ring she couldn't get enough of it. But hearing the roar of the trucks engine brought her back to reality. Smiling she patted her stomach lightly. "The doctor says the baby is healthy and everything, right size for their age. And he or she is going to be born in 6 months." She said smiling at him. "And the doctor also said that my morning sickness she slow down or stop." She said to Alex as she took his free hand and held it as he drove. "Alright. My turn to get you something. How about Olive Garden? For lunch?" It was afternoon now so Pasta sounded really good to her.

Mason stumbled out of her room, after a very rough night out. Her drinking had been getting worse after moving out of her parents house, but she wasn't sure why. She hadn't talked to anyone about it, and she went out to do it, hoping no one in the house would notice. "I'll quit. I can quit before anyone finds out..." She whispered to herself, then quickly looked around, making sure no one was around to hear her. "You need to stop talking to yourself, or people are going to think you're crazy!" She slumped down on the couch after pouring herself a hot cup of coffee to make the throbbing in her head go away. She thought about her classes, but wasn't worried, because she decided to skip all her morning classes. They aren't the most important classes anyway; just the academics that college insists you take before you graduate, which she accelled at.
After finishing her coffee, she slowly stood up and began walking around the house to find anyone who was awake. She knocked on the door of Annora's room, then opened the door. "Annora?" She whispered, in case she was sleeping. When no one answered, she got a bit worried. "Well, maybe she had classes this morning." Mason got a bit dizzy, so she returned to the couch and remained there, watching some special on the local channel.

"Sure! Sounds great." He knew exactly what he was going to get, ever since Olive Garden had came up with the genius idea. He got the Endless Soup and Salad everytime he had gone. He always left comepletely full, too. He smiled and squeezed her hand again. "I'm glad you like it."

SMiling softly Annora squeezed his hand back as she smiled whiled she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I think... I'm going to have... Just Alfrado... With the salad.. and breadsticks." She said to him scooting over to the middle seat to sit next to him.

"Cool, I think I'm going back to class tomorrow. Maybe if I apoligize, they'll let me back in..." As she scooted closer, Alex wrapped his arm around her. Soon they pulled into the parking lot and he parked, getting out of the car. He went around to the other side and opened her's too. He wasn't being snobby, he was just being polite.

Giggling, Annora climbed out of the truck and took his hand, standing almost a whole head smaller than him. "I think that is very mature of you Alex. I'm very proud of you." She said kissing him as she began to walk up to the enterence with him.

Alex follwed her to the resuraunt and they were seated almost immeadiately due to the fact that they had gotten there early. "Thanks for dinner." He said leaning over and kissing her on the forehead. Soon the waitress came and he ordered a glass of Ice water. He laughed when the waitress dropped the tray and she glared at him, he shut up, not wanting the her to sabotage his drink, but when she left he started laughing again.

"Alex!" Annora said as she hit his arm and helped the waitress. "I am so sorry about him..." When she walked away Annora glared. "That was rude. Very rude." When the waitress came back, it was a different one. She set their glasses down and asked for their order. "I'll have the alfrado pasta. And we'd like the salad." She looked over at Alex waiting for his order.

As Annora hit his arm Alex became silent. "Awwwww, I was just having some fun!" But he shut up. He got the Endless Soup bowl, Kale-cream as his first soup. He remembered that he was supposed to take his pills with lunch so that they would be in his system as the food fortified his Immune system. He opened the bottle and took out two just like the bottle said. He popped them in his mouth and swallowed them with a mouthfull of water.
