Every evening she gets a little dosa of growth hormone because her own body doesn't make enough. She had stopped growing any bigger around 18 months old. Now she's 5 and is all caught up again with her peers. She has to continue taking the meds until she's done growing - around 15 to 17 years old is the doctor's guess.

The meds work great! The only trouble is it's extremely expensive so whenever there's any break in insurance or when we need to switch providers it's a nightmare.

Well it's hard to guess exactly when someone will stop growing. That's the kind of thing that really varies among people. Plus it's partly our decision at that point - when she's had enough and feels ready to stop taking it. (there's a 20% chance that she'll still need it as an adult)

I like the jungle gym.
