*smiles* Well. Hello to everyone, Please call me Lynn. I have a deep facination with the old. I enjoy both acurate and bastardized 15th and forward clothing. Corsetry is a deep facination of mine though I have none of my own.
I do have relative sewing skills and recently made a gown for under a friends bodice for the Shokape (I always butcher that poor town's name) Renfair. I am more than happy to lend advice on sewing and have (thoguh for a short time) studdied with a coture dress maker.
I must say I am especialy pleased to be a pat of this guild and hope that I won't be too much of a knob. ^_^

Hi, I'm Rob. Mad Prospector here on gaia. I am 21 (22 in 5 days) and I came with the recent influx of people who found this guild via the community spotlight. Lucky for you, you are not the person who read my guild request. If you are, I am terribly sorry for the unremittingly long request. If you are not that person, then here is m short version.
I am a fan of steampunk and clothing styles of many historic eras (anywhere from Victorian to 1920's wear usually, but I do like many older and newer fripperies). I came here for like minded people and some such like that. If you'd like to know more about me, blah blah blah blah.
Okay, I think I've covered the basics of an introduction. Thank you for my acceptance into this oh so wonderful seeming guild.

aloha nui!
thank you for accepting me.. i think... the pm came across that it was denied... weird. o.O but i can post, so here i am! ^.^
i am 40 (yah, old eh?), on gaia since '05. have a lot of fun here in what i call "chibi land" and love the ways i can custom my avatar & home. i am currently working on making my gaia home "honorable" to mirror the remodeling i am doing on my RL home - which is being done to match the peasant architecture of feudal japan - think fisherman's or farmer's home.
i also make medieval garb for myself and some friends in the SCA. i lean toward celtic/saxon styles. the only thing i don't do is spin & weave - house too small for a loom! but i use wool in everything (hot here in hawaii) for recreations and do all my stitching by hand. i am currently working on a long cloak with crewel knot patterns. ^.^ much fun! i'll post a pic of it when i[m done.

Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I'm 21. I'm a history student, with a partcular fondness for historical fashion, and big plans to become a costume designer.
My favourite periods are medieval, Tudor, and Victorian. I also love steampunk. And the Georgian period. Oh, it's hard not to love them all!
I've always felt that I belong in another century, and it's fabulous to be around other like-minded individuals!

Hello, I am GrammySewell and I am very happy to join this guild. I love the clothing and lifestyles of the Victorian period. I also have a strange fascination for the work of art entitled "Blue Boy". I actually own over 20 versions of the picture in one size or another ranging in size from 4 ft (framed) tl less than 6 in. (framed). I also collect the "sister" picture, Pinky but not as wildly! I am looking forward to talking to all of you.

Goodday everyone!
My name is Rii, nickname Skittles, and I'm 21 years old. I love in The Netherlands (that's Europe wink ) and I'm quite uhm... 'involved' with history. Some would call me obsessed, but really, they're just lying...honest >.> My favourite period is without doubt the Dark and Middle Ages. I also am very fascinated by anything Celtic, and I have this grudge against Romans and the men of the Renaissance...>.> Call me a heathen or barbaric, and I'll take it as a compliment :3
I'm quite hyper most of the time, rather random, I'm an artist, apparently I have a London accent and my favourite animal is a potbelly pig. If I'd be a colour, I'd be raindbow, and if I'd be a food, I'd be Skittles^^
PS: b4k4-chan is read as Baka-chan, just so you know <3

Hello there. I am Miss Icia. I love clothing and history in general, but I do have preferred years/eras/periods. I love The 1920s, the 1960s, and the 1950s styles of clothing. I also love the history involving suburbanization, war (though I hate war), and music. I am a lover of history, especially when it comes to learning about popular culture and counter culture. Learning about toys and literature and women's rights is so much fun.
Some general information about me: I am 17, but will be 18 in 2 months. I am engaged to a lovely pirate named Bunny whom I've known 4 years. I am a senior in high school. I love art and books and magazines and clothes and culture and chocolate and glitter. This is one of my favorite vintage dresses. It's a 1960s Jeanette Alexander ivory lace day dress.

Im not sure what to say besides, Hello My name is Mariam. Nothing fancy about my name. I'm not sure what is my favorite time period, but I love victorian times. Medieval would be next. People usually seem shocked when i tell them how much i love history, but that is probably because i am very hyperactive, silly and just weird. I also collect antiques and wonder what is the oldest antique i could get my hands on.

Salutations everyone. I am Yamiko, pleased to make your acquaintance. I have an interest historical literature, particularly "Dante's Inferno" and The Count of Monte Cristoe.
Sometimes, I would go to the library to peruse through historical fashion books because the outfits of the past are so interesting and pretty to look at. The Baroque paintings, architectural details, and furnishings within the Château de Versailles are very beautiful to look at in person. I can only imagine how the lifestyle might have been like.
(If I have somehow gotten my history wrong, please feel free to correct me because it has literally been several years since I last took a history course. OTL )
@Hot P!nk: Wow, reenacting piracy sounds fun!! XD
