Lauren looked at Colche when she was finished, "It says Colche, your name. Now every ******** will know you live here even if they forget your duplex number! And that's a heart." She pointed to it being careful not to smudge the wet paint. "It seemed to fit you, and it's easy to paint."
Lauren then was met face to face with the bunny, "Heh, when did you get this thing?" she said as she reached out to rub it's head, a little too rough for a bunnies likeing probably. She noticed Colche kept looking towards the gifts. "well, my gift is on your door, but I can paint more if ya like. Go ahead and open the rest! They're yours." Lauren let herself in, propping her body up against the wall waiting for Colche to start opening everything.

Colche snuggled her bunny for a moment longer before putting him on the bed and opening her first present, it was from ambrose. She held out the card, unable to read the writing, though it was VERY nicely written, alot of the words just didn't make any sence to her. Her naem though was clearly visable. She gigled "Colche" she stated pointing at the word. She knew how to readher name for the first time ever.
Wrinkling her nose she tore off the shiney paper to reveal ambroses giftie, holding it for a moment in her slender fingers she puurred happily "Kitty" she stated, putting the ornament on her bedside table. After a good moment of admireing it, she went to claim her presents from Amaya, a stuffed kitty, she seemed to be getting alot of kittys! and her dream catcher. She hung the dream catcher on the rail of her bed. and snuggled the kitty "Colche" she stated again noticing the word on the little tag. She held it out to Lauren too for her to read it. Finally she came to Joliettes gift, unwrapping the portrait of the sea her eyes went wide "Sea!" She grinned excitedly, holding out one more tag as she pottered over to her chest ofdrawers and set the painting up so she could see it from the bed.
She sat once again, waiting to be told what the tags said before she continued, the big boxses, they looked like things she would have to take alot of time with, they all had shiney paper on them and were all numbered with '17' on them which meant they belonged to the duplex, but the duplex was hers so they all must be hers! Her first Christmas was going well, so many presents but who were they all from were they all from Santa claws? He was a very nice man if they were!

Lauren helped her read whatever Colche put out to her, watching her unwrap and feeling happy just to see her happy. It was nice, helping her out. Lauren was sure Colche had been having a terrible time so she hoped the presents helped.
"Yes, Colche! Damn girl, you learned that already!" that was impressive, Colche was very quick with things like that. "Maybe I'll come teach you more reading, get Moreau to give me childrens books to start with then we can go up from there."
Lauren noticed her looking at the one's numbered 17 oddly, "Go ahead, those are yours too." She waited for her to be done, looking at her watch. Damn it was getting late and she needed to be leaving soon.

Colche giggled as she pounced in amongst the boxses pulling out all the kiddies camping equiptment. The tent, which was one of those little pop up kinds flipped open and sat in the middle of the room. It had pictured of bunniesd all over it, white bunnies and was a soft pink. Colche immediately crawled in to it puuring and giggling. it was like a little den inside erhr duplex. She peered out searching the floor for the gift Aubrey had given her not too long ago. Finding the leap pad story book she claimed it, and a convienient torch (also pink with a bunny on the handle, it's nose the switch of course!) before claiming her blanket from her bed (along with the bunny and the kitty plushie) and removing herself to the tent once again. She snuggled down happily, hugging the plushie, her bunny nestling amongst the blankets as if it belonged there, before the magical, buring sound sounded, she had opened ehr leappad once again, amaya, Ambrose and Joliette had sent ehr gifts, she felt wanted, people had cared enough to give her these things. she poked the book as it read out the first like "Once upon a time" she repeated, Lauren was almost forgotten in the excitement and confusion of it all though she peeped out and grinned "Lauren come?" she tilted ehr head softly,maybe Lauren would join her,m but if not, at least she knew, or hoped she knew she would come back and maybe, everyone else would start to visit her again too.

Lauren watched, but shook her head at the invite, "I'll be back Colche, this time I really do promise." She knew her promise was s**t though once it came out of her mouth, it was always s**t. She was a ******** lyer, couldn't even tell the truth to someone that had been abused all their life just like her.
And with that she waved, disapointed in herself already, like as if saying those words were telling otherwise. "I'm a ******** lyer Colche, but I'll try to come back." She reached out to ruffle up Colche's head and give her a small hug before leaving.
Looking at the graphitti on her way out, Lauren felt fairly nice at helping someone out but horrible knowing she was probably just going to ******** things up once again.

~ NEW RP ~
Joliette had debated the cafeteria, or rather she decided to procrastinate going there, too much meat and she was having a hard time dealing with the scents. Instead she detoured and headed for Colche's unit... She had stopped there to drop of christmas pressies and noticed it empty, now she was curious if the girl had ever returned... She didn't know why Colche had hidden herself away.
Upon approach she noticed the hearts on teh door and chuckled softly wondering who had done that... She noticed it open just a tad bit so knocked "Colche?" she called out

Colche was indeed home though her bunny covered tent had become her favourite place. She peered out from between the flaps, her hair still a ragged mess. She did look some what happier though and she smiled at the voice. Somone had come to see her already? She was glad of the company even though a part of her still wanted to be alone.
"Hulo" she whispered her big blue eyes shimmering in the doft light of her duplex. having not been home for very long, less than a couple of hours infact she hadn't even thought about eating or anythign else for that matterm, her hair was full of bitf of green and brown. After Lauren had left she had read ehr book for a little while then gone to sleep, it was the best sleep she had, had since she left her duplex, almost, well she wasn't sure hoew long she had been away but she had shed alot of weight in the tiem she had been gone what weight she had put on from being treated thoroughly on the island had dropped away and she was to say the least extremely skinny, she really hadn't been eating properly. Still she seemed pleased to be home though her visitor, well she knew Joliette was nice but her nose twitched, she smelt of Chubbs, she wanted to avoid the big man if she could she was still a little upset about him though she didn't know why.

Joliette barely heard the whispered 'Hulo' and slowly pushed hte door further open, well, it appeared she had been home at least, as things weren't where she last saw them "Colche are you around? she asked peering around and soon noticing hte pop-up tent it amuzed her in some way and she smiled "I guess you just may be... Merry Christmas" she said... she knew it was belated, but oh well

Colche smiled lightly from the confies of her tent "Joliette" she said simply wrinkling her kitty like nose in a smile as she sat, pushing the tent flap open and watching the red haired female. She held the plushie which Amaya had given her in her arms as she sat there looking up. She didn't weant to leave ehr tent just yet it was a fun place to be. The remnants of the packages she had been given were strewn all over the floor, boxses and shiney paper, it was a regular christmas camping ground.

Joliette stepped into the duplex, she hadn't seen the girl since before her change, before David's either, she trudged through the wrapping her toe-claws sometimes catching the edge of a piece of wrapping as she approached the tent and then squated her yellow tongue flicking out and in before she spoke
"I'm glad to see you back, I wondered where you disappeared to" She said quietly looking tne girl over curious if she had had any further changes

Colche's eard flickered against her skull for a moment, she didn;'t catch all the words still "Colche jungle" another simple statement, she thought to herself that perhaps she had forgotten a few words in her solitary time. Her tiny lick of a tail flickered as she looked at the girl before her "Joliette, scales" stating the obvious was obviously todays big thing for Colche. Her ears flickered up again though as she watched the nopw scaley female, still, she felt a little standoffish for severakl reasons, she had been alone for a whiole, she hardly knew Joliette and she smelled of Chubbs, it didn't make her feel very happy. Her big cold blue eyes were dark for a moment a little sad but she was far too happy to be that way for very long she had been given such wonderful gifts. She supposed people must care to give ehr such nice things!

Joliette nodded acknowledging where Colche had said she'd been. After a moment she lifted a hand and touched her nose with the back of a finger and then nodded "Yes, Joliette has scales, like Amaya.." she knew Colche knew Amaya, wasn't sure about Cass. "I am becoming a Komodo... big lizard" she said softly she noticed the sadness in teh girl's eyes for the brief time it had existed.
"I see you got a tent for Christmas, do you like it?" she asked sensing possibly Colche might want to be alone, but for the interm till she knew for sure she wanted to visit Colche a bit

"Kom..mo..doh" she mimicked with a slight smile "tent?" she looked around herself, the thing she must have been sitting in must have been a tent "Tent, Christmas, Santa Claus" she giggled, she still didn't entirely understand what christmas was or who santa claus was, still she knew she had been gifted with all these wonderful things and she liked them alot.
Colche played with a strand of her long hair for a moment pulling out a rather klong twig from the black tangled strands with a bit of trouble. She needed a bath and for her hair to be brushed out she had brushed her hair alot since she came to the island but she wasn't too sure about getting all the messy things out.

Joliette smiled and nodded only cause she managed to say it, she still hated what she was becoming. "Yes this is a pretty tent. All for Colche" she nodded "Yes it was your Christmas present." she watched Colche pull the twig from her hair "Would you like help getting some more of those things tangled in your hair out?" she asked Colche softly

Colche looked at Joliette for a moment she was confused, why would she help with her hair? She wasn't Aubrey. She bit her tongue and nodded "hair mess" she stated crawling out of the tent, her exceedingly long hair trailing behind her filled with bits of green and brown and tangled in big knots. It needed alot of attention and she hadn't given it any for a while.
