Thanks for the nominations redface I want to give thanks to the person who got me on Gaia to begin with-- my friend Jers, though he's no longer on the site. I want to give thanks for Doressa because no matter how insane the idea she supports it-- and I give thanks for Hank who usually pulls the plug on our ideas for "Dirty Sock Week" or "Paint Drying Contest" ideas. Thanks to all the members for making being a mod in this guild really quite easy.
-Begins to ramble on a list of people to thank- And Super Buick, Yonsan, Headhunter, Jesus, Buddha, Vishnu, My mail man because he's cool, my little brother for setting up my computer two years back, Thor, Hiro Nakamura, AquaScorp, the electric company without whom my time here would be limited to my pathetic pc battery lifespan, Toshiba, AT & T, Bill Willingham, Barbara Walters, Bill E. D. Williams, Bakura Amane, Athena, Robert Downing Jr., The assistant to Robert Downing Jr. who did the work so I could credit Mr. Downing Jr., my stunt double who died in that tragic, tragic muffin related incident, everyone patient enough to read all this--go you, Mark Martin, [[[bunny]], Alan Rickman for not pressing legal charges, Lassie for letting me know Timmy was in the well, the good people at US Cellular, no that wasn't a promotion plug, ok yes it was, they paid me a lot of money, John Candy, Spectremis, Han Solo, Ryan Seacrest for not suing for liable when I poked fun at him, the people who clean the toilets at the places I have to stop on road trips, Ra, the people who stock vending machines, and my Mom.

:Sighs at Antonia's ramblings, signals the man with the big hook: Ladies and Gentle-- ::there is the sound of a sheep backstage. Main Man quirks a brow and shrugs:: Hooked the wrong person, I guess. Looks like the souvenir sweaters will be made of wool... Back to the festivities you've been waiting for! Ohio, it is a state in the United States of America. A beloved piece of America's heartland this territory has given us Dayton, Cincinnati, Ambrose Bierce, R. L. Stine, Columbus (the city, not the explorer), and Harriet Beecher Stowe (at least this is what wikipedia has told us). It has also given us beloved guild members and-- hey! Somebody is snoring in the first row-- sheesh! Ellavemia, in her efforts to raise Ohio awareness (someone you love may have come from Ohio!) has created our next category- Best Ohioans. Our winner for the 2008 Best Ohioan is a young man who has touched us all with his friendliness. His is a never ending quest to finish school. He's listened to others and shown a level of respect that makes this guild great. Open minded and apt to invite really awesome people to the guild this Library Worker Bee has become a part of our family. Congratulations, NoirKaze  Our 2nd award of this nature may be confusing. We present the first Oldie award for "Ohioan Who is Not from Ohio". Hailing from Pennsylvania, which to our members in England, Australia, and Germany is to be assumed "not Ohio" this guildie is a regular and a favorite. He's corrupted wishes in the game forum, been moral-support to many, and will probably be melting down his award to fund his wedding. Congratulations Super Buick, our 2008 Best Ohioan who is not from Ohio. Ladies and Gentlemen refreshments are being served in the lobby. We have cupcakes, veggie trays, and miniature hot dog things -hee hee- weenies! We ask that those of you with cute animals in your signatures please keep them away from the food. We also have boxes of wine to get you nice and tipsy until we open up the better stuff.

Now some of you may be wondering why the category of avatars has not come up. Due to the puny size of the dump truck we rented to haul in the envelopes for this award, we decided to name a few until the cargo ship with the rest of the nominations arrives. We give you Avatar Domination, Part I. When you look at the avatar thread she is one of the biggest names you see. Her avatar changes as much as she does IRL-- sometimes more. If you ever wonder what the weather is like, she dresses to match the seasons. Time and creativity have been devoted to her pursuit of avatar awesomeness. She was nominated for this award by AquaScorp, Headhunter, and Antonia. Naturally, Bakura Amane would be a 2008 Avatar Domination winner for her devotion to avatar fashion. Next we have a new member who has shown us all how to maximize the cuteness of the new cowboy items. She's saddled up and caught the attention of our own Minnie LeMoo who decided to nominate her. She is also known for her stunning avi art. Congratulations, AmelieChan for the avatar domination! Sometimes you don't have a lot of gold. But this guild members proves that a stunning avatar does not have to come at a large price. Friendliness is her ultimate accessory to her stylish ensemble. i'm ok. this dog broke my fall.
*holds up a flattened schnauser and climbs back onstage*
i'd like to thank ella for nominating me for best ohioan not from ohio. and thanks to the main man for the warm introduction.
*pulls out a long piece of paper from his pocket and sets it on the podium, but knocks over a glass of water, soaking the list and shorting out the microphone which gives him a horrendous shock that throws him backwards, clutching his award*
*slowly raises a charred hand still clutching the reward*

The difference for all the other "not Ohioans" is that the other places are further away from Ohio. Best Ohioan Not From Ohio But Who Is Still Really Close didn't fit on the inscription. Everyone else can be Best Ohioans (Who Are Not From Ohio) in my heart though! heart
