The Milky Way is a collection of photons around Jan's waist, placing his body at the center... It's not that important, but I thought you should know.))

Chuckling to himself as Daven and Yuki tried to attack him, Jan suddenly burst out on full-out laughter. It was neither taunting laughter, nor was it tainted with insanity; rather, it was the laughter of someone who was truely enjoying their time. It was full of joy, even bliss. With a wave of his naginata, an "arm" of his Milky Way intercepted Daven's Air Bullet, resulting in a small nuclear explosion as the atoms of the bullet were shattered by his subatomic particles. The explosion itself was relatively controlled, but the flash of light would serve to help blind his opponents. While the flash was still active, a wave his wakisashi over his shoulder sent another group of photons through Yuki's flames, punching a large hole in them as they sped at her in the form of what looked like a laser beam made out of pure light. The fastest possible projectile also sent air molecules into the flames towards the ground, helping diminish their size, if not smothering them completely. "Don't you get it? Elements mean NOTHING to me! Energy at its purest form is under my control! Prepare to experience the Boudary Between Wave and Particle! BANKAI!"

Tossing his wakisashi into the air in an odd angle so that it would slide into its sheath, Jan's naginata flashed with more light as it transformed into his zanbato, an even larger and more unweildy weapon than before. Jan's Bankai, a simple wooden-looking handle measuring about ten feet in length with a five-foot wide and twenty-foot long blade attached to it, was very plain looking, with no decoration. The blade itself was similar to a European longsword in that the central ridge ended in a sharp point and it had straight edges that came together at the tip, but everything else about the weapon suggested that it would cut with its weight more than with its sharpness... Not that Jan used his Bankai to cut, anyway. Jan's Bankai release also resulted in the blasting of light energy out of his shoulders, making it look as if he had wings made of light on his back. They were not true wings at all, and were closer in nature to the exhaust of a jet airplane (as if Jan knew what that was).

The release his Zanpakuto sent the Milky Way around him flying outwards, but it was not as simple as the laser he had already fired at Yuki. Taking advantage of the flexible nature of light photons, they would act as a wave to pass through Feiy and add to his previous Healing Wave from earlier in the fight, but act as a particle in the cases of Yuki and Daven, throwing themselves at his two opponents like a wall of light.

((Sure, no problem. Jan's light-based attacks are a concentration of photons, as previously mentioned. Raw photons are part of all parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, from visible to ultraviolet light and down to microwaves, so it's not only the colors of the rainbow. However, since Jan's attacks are all high-energy, the beams will be in the extreme gamma-ray side of the spectrum. While ordinary light would pass through a person harmlessly, the concentration and bombardment of photons would cause severe symptoms, starting with burns and eventually leading to erosion of the skin and bone. Long periods in its precence would also lead to radiation sickness for Jan's opponents, but Jan doesn't use it quite that often or for such long periods of time.

In short, the photon laser Jan fired at Yuki is just that: A laser beam meant to burn through her reiatsu defenses and physical body. Treat it in the same way you would any other laser beam-type attack, and you should be fine.

Oh, and the parts of the electromagnetic spectrum do not denote a speed difference; a microwave and ultraviolet wave will travel the same distance in the same amount of time through the same medium. This refers to its wavelength, with higher energies resulting in shorter wavelengths. The gamma rays headed at Yuki and Daven have an extremly short wavelength, allowing for a greater chance of hitting some atom in the body and destroying it in a miniscule nuclear fission reaction (no bomb; this would result in the burns I mentioned above). Jan's control over photons, as described in Boundary of Wave and Particle, allows him to lengthen the wavelength of the photons near Feiy to harmless levels so they can pass Jan's energy to her (in real life, they would pass through harmlessl, like ordinary light waves). If it helps, think of ultraviolet light and resulting skin cancers caused by its collision with the DNA of a cell.

As she watched over Jan's attack, she was beginning to feel the "Healing Wave" that Jan had swept over her previously using his abundant energy to draw into her body using a silent rengeki (using the technique without calling its name). Her body even while in the bakudo, but she quickly the energy she gathered to kick-start the use of her regeneration.

As Daven came to her, breaking the kidou and setting her down on the ground, she slipped her hands under her back as if she was using it for support. In reality, she was healing herself internally, with she "accidentally" forgot to do. As Daven left her side, she swung her legs up towards her and swung back, using the momentum to bring her upright.

She walked over to Jan, using him as a "crutch", to keep her balance. Though her body was back in working order, she used a massive amout of her reiatsu to just stay in the fight. She smirked at him. "And just when I was about to break out of it too. We was just about to show them why we're called "Ride the Lightning, eh?" She said, nudging him in the ribs. "God, I feel like I'm gonna past out, ya know? Who's bright idea was it to stick me with the friggin' Cap'n General of the damned sereitei!? Jesus, I was lucky as hell he didn't lob off m head earlier." She said, falling back to the ground. She sat up as she realized the fatigue was getting to her. "It won't matter, that'll be his fatal mistake, no, that was the Sereitei's fatal mistake! They'll regret all those times they actually had mercy and kept me alive! The rest of this tournament is cake... they got nothing else." Her stomach growled loudly at the sound of "cake".

"Speaking of which, you got anything to eat? I'm friggin' hungry."
