Oh dear...
I was in Calculus the other day and we started learning integration. Well, first we learned about diff EQ, which has to be the weirdest term I've ever learned in math.
But then I thought about the song So Cold where it says 'I am not integrated.' and I was like 'Whyyy?! Every time I hear that song I'm gonna think of math now....'
And then I got it stuck in my head while I was integrating....

hhahahahhahah nice .....when I was a young boy, my father took me into the city to see a marching band....yeah I'm listening to that song right now....(and that just happens to be what my avi is based off of) anywho Iii shot the sheriiiffa but I did not shoot the deputy.....that was really wierd

Look at my random dump of knowledge that I posted in May's quest thread: icegirl6274 Oh, and you know how we were talking about those subliminal messages for coke or pepsi or whatever it was? Apparently those don't work either.
My psychology book is useful for useless information like how ESP isn't real or what would happen if we were blind for the first few years of our lives then got our vision back and why we close our eyes when we kiss.
Anyway, so apparently what happened was they supposedly flashed 'eat popcorn, drink coke' in movie previews at some movie theater somewhere as subliminal messages. That's not possible. Movie projectors play 24 frames a second, so even if it shot one frame of that, it wouldn't be subliminal.
And to add to that, it would have no effect even if there was a subliminal message. Studies show that our brain does process stuff that is below our awareness, but it has little, if any effect on what we want to buy. It effects us in other ways, but it has no effect on advertisements.
I don't remember why....but that's what it said.
And, you remember that thing about having the kicked up dust say SEX in the Lion King?
That's not true either. Or at least it might not be. It didn't explain that one, but it mentioned it. It went on to explain where the idea that a voice says 'All the good teenagers take their clothes off' in Aladin.
Apparently some (as the book described it) "testosterone-laden university student' heard that, then told his sister, who then told her mom, who then wrote to some magazine, who then published it, and then more and more things picked up on it. It does not actually say that, but if someone hears it and tells other people, they will most likely hear it as well, even if it isn't there. Our brain processes information based off of things we actually hear/see, but also bases what we hear/see off of our memories and experiences.
This is what you get when I spend four + hours reading my psychology book....
................yeaaah.

My friend found it during Web Page Design and we showed it to the teacher. He then put it up on the board and said 'this is possibly one of the best designed web sites I've ever seen...'
I think the designer was on crack or something.
