Starsong was tempted to follow the scent of the prey when she remembered what her real task was. She had to get Dancer, quick, and back again, before the storm hit... She looked up at the sky, it was nearly cloudless. It was hard to imagine that there would be a violent storm soon, but she trusted the sends of others, as there is no lying in send. She patted Shine reassuringly and nudged him forward, to follow Dancer's scent. She sent openly, once she thought she might get contact with the other elf. **Dancer?** she continued on, waiting for a reply.

The send touched her mind as Dancer moved on. She replied *Here. I'm here*. Wanting Star to find her now since she was out. The send still held pain and undertones of fear. A violent storm was what they thought the moment the world was up heaved. Now Dancer had to help Star find her quickly and let them get back to the others. To what end though? Did it really matter if they were together when they all died? Would they die? Maybe this was just a storm and nothing more. She did not have any answers to her questions and time would not stop for her to find them. Maybe Dancer could meet her end with others whose company she enjoyed and cared for. "High Ones protect us." was all she said as she kept walking in the direction of the send from Star.

Starsong felt the reply like a tickle in her mind, it was afraid, and in pain. Nobody had really filled her in on Dancer's condition, if they knew. She felt the send come from the east and turned Shine in that direction even though the scent carried on to the north for a little bit. **I'm Coming, stay where you are** She sent.
After riding for a bit longer, she picked up the scent again, this one a lot more recent, it left an imprint in her mind, and she could see the young elf quite vividly. As she urged Shine to continue, the tree's began to howl as the wind whipped through them, the storm was coming, and it sounded mad!
After what seemed like a while, the wind taking Dancer's scent and carrying it away, she came to a small clearing and looked around, this seemed like where the send was coming from, but where was Dancer? The wind continued to whip around her, causing her hair to blow into her face, obscuring her vision a little bit.

Dancer took a deep breath as the send from Star come through. It hurt to breath deeply but now and then had to be done. *Here. Star the storm is on its way. I'm here.* As the wind started to pick up Dancer felt her heart leap into her throat a moment. That creeping fear digging at her more and more as she stood in place so Star could find her. Dancer tried calling out as well to help Star, "Starsong. I'm here." She bit her lip so that she didn't call Fire Bright. How nice it would be to bury her face in that big cats fur and just hold on tight.

Starsong turned towards the send and in a short time period found her way to Dancer. **Come** She said, looking the other elf over to see what kind of injuries she may have to accommodate, her eyes wide with concern, her other features however, remained emotionless. **We have not much time, can you ride?** She wondered where Dancer's mount was as she reached out a hand for her to take.

Holding her breath Dancer took Stars hand and quickly got up on the wolf. It was lower then her cat so that helped. The ride on the other hand made her whimper a bit. Her cracked rib moving with each step quickly became to much to take. "UUUGGGHH" She cried out as she held tight to Star. "My side. I think something might be broken." Dancer feared she might blackout but fought to keep here eyes open and her mind focused. Blue eyes glanced up at the sky. The closer they got to the cove the darker it got. She felt a shiver go up her spine and all the hair on her neck stand on end. At this point all Dancer wanted was to find a dark corner to curl up in and hide away.

And then Llune sent to the two elfesses, **We have arrived at my cave, but the rain is beginning... Hurry back, and I will do my best to guide you quickly to my cave...** Again, a ghostly form of Llune with her eyes clenched shut hovers near the traveling elves, keeping time with the gait of the running wolf, **Please hurry, time is short... My cave is rough, but safe, and there is room for all of us and the bonds, though food may run out... Is there anything I can do to help?** she asks, her send full of concern and anticipation of the storm, as well as intense concentration.

As Llune's image floated next to her and Star Dancers mouth fell open slightly and most of what was going on was distracted by the site. She swallowed hard as the ride was nearly unbearable and groaned a bit. Still Dancer tried to send to Llune's image and let her know what was going on. *Star has me and we are swiftly :gasp: on our way back. Ridding is making the pain in my side worse but I know :whimper: we should be back soon.* Then send was over run with pain. The burning feeling soon back as she breathed and the throbbing in her head lost now to the pain of her side. The ripples of fear that flowed with Dancers send were small in comparison but still evident. Tears started to streak her face but other then the occasional moan or whimper she tried hard to stay quiet for Star to stay focused on getting them back to the others.

Dancer's send was received, but Llune did not reply with more than a quick nod of both her ghostly image and acknowledging send... And then, just as abruptly as it had appeared, Llune's image vanished.

Starsong heard the distress in both Dancer's voice and sends. She could tell that something wasn't right on the inside, and began to get nervous because there was no healer. She hoped that whatever had happened to the elf, wasn't as serious as some she had seen before.
Shaking the thoughts from her mind, she focused on her task now, to get Dancer and herself home before the worst of it hit them. The wind had picked up so quickly it frightened her a little bit, she had never experienced any storm like this before, which just set her determination more.
She spurred Shine on, faster, holding onto the scruff of the wolf's neck with one hand, and trying to stabilize Dancer with the other. After a while she could tell the rough speed was taking its toll on the other Elf.
She slowed and stopped for a moment, switching places with Dancer so that the elf was towards the shoulder end of shine while she was near the back, her arms on either side of her to support her as they rode. This way she would get the brunt end of the jostling, and if for some reason the Catelf should happen to feint, she could keep her on the mount easier instead of her falling off.
Once positioned again, she took off, into the force of the wind, back towards home.
