Syvra bolted awake when she heard Logan's voice, and when she heard him explain how this Alice was now standing in the middle of the The Demon Children of the Rouges, she decided to sidle down and see what was going on. She saw the usual gang that went out during the day. Syvra was a scout at night. She knew the night better than anyone because most all of them insisted on going out in the daytime. As Logan screamed and transformed, it hurt Syvra inside, but resentment at the thought of them going out at daytime like they were still human made her angry and a scowl crossed her pale face. They act like we still belong, like we're NORMAL. We're not and should get used to the darkness that the stupid humans have shunted us into. Her hand massaged the scar that covered most of her neck. However, when she saw Alice bolt, she tried to follow, but the light was too strong for her eyes. She fell back, her arms up to block the light from her face. She didn't mean to, but an apology slipped out, "I'm sorry Logan." She REALLY hoped he hadn't heard that, but she was sure that he hadn't with all the excitement of Alice running. He was in his wolf form though, wolves had keener hearing. She just had to trust to luck. When she had seen Alice however, a hunger rose inside of Syvra that caused her to choke. Her fangs elongated, her eyes slitted. Her body was activated for a hunt. She looked around to make sure nobody saw her...well...about ready to rip out somebody's throat. She was INCREDIBLE thirsty, but now she didn't have anything to drink. The only thing she could've used to satisfy her thirst had just jumped through the window. She looked around to try and make sure nobody was looking. She didn't see any eyes on her, so she tore into her own wrist. She grimaced in pain, but licked the dripping blood, giving a slight snarl when a drop fell to the ground. Waste, was what crossed her mind when she saw it on the dirty floor. Thanks to the fact that the vampire who bit her originally had nearly tore her whole neck off, as a consequence she was too. She had to fold a piece of skin the size of a softball back over her mangled wrist as her eyes went back to regular pupils and her fangs retracted slightly. She put pressure on her wrist, trying to keep anymore blood from spilling. Kinda need it, she thought sarcastically. She looked around for a long bandage of some kind to bind her wrist until it would stop bleeding.

Alaric panted for a moment, leaning on his sword. He walked slowly over to his shirt and crammed it over his sweaty figure. Then he sat down cross-legged with his sword in his lap. He regulated his breathing and took stock. He'd been going at it for a while now, and he was almost at his limit, but all in all it had gone well. He'd been able to pace himself a little better than usual. He closed his eyes, torn between a shower and his bed.
Then he heard a scream. Damn! What now?! He took one more moment of quick rest and headed out, ready for pretty much anything. What greeted him, however, was bizarre beyond what he expected. The group was just leaping out what appeared to be a newly broken window, one after another. Alaric just stood there quizzically, contemplating the situation. Then he approached the nearest person. It was one of the turned females. She wasn't trueborn, but at least she was nocturnal. What was her name, again? Shiva, Syvna, Syvra...Syvra sounded right.
"Hey, Syvra right?" She was looking for something and he smelled an injury, but he needed to know what was going on. "Why in hell did a group of night-creatures just leap out a window into the blazing sun?" He wasn't sure if he really cared. Bed was sounding good.

Jess was starting to fall into another one of her famous flashbacks, but just before she did she heard Jasper appologize. "Haha..that wasn't necessary, but it's always nice to hear." As she started to crawl back out of the flashback she shook her head and heard Jasper say something along the lines of, "What're you thinking about? You have that drugged, distant look in your eye." She laughed and said, "Really Jasper...it wasn't necessary for you to appologize, I did deserve what you said..I admit that. But, I was thinking about when I first joined the group and how I got to know you and Logan...that's all." She turned her attention to what was happening in front of them, she could see the excitement and anxiousness radiateing from Logan, and she knew that Jasper could too. "Welcome Home," he told Alice as they finally made their way to the warehouse. Alice, however...didn't share their excitement and pulled a silver blade on Logan. Not knowing what else to do, everyone stepped forward, ready to protect him. However, he signaled for them to back off and showed her what he truly was.."Probably not the best time for that Logan.." She was right.. Alice broke the window and dashed out. Jasper was the first to jump out to follow her, then Jess.
Jess followed further back, as to not look suspicious to nosy on-lookers. She heard Alice threaten to jump, and Jasper threaten right back to get over there or he would knock her out and carry her back himself. Next thing she knew Alice was knocked out and in Jasper's arms, and he began to walk back to wear Jess was. Then, out of nowhere a nosy human comes and threatens Jasper and throws blood in his eyes. Jess ran over and saw where the human escaped with Alice, she would have to go get her..she knew it. "Jasper! Are you alright?" He nodded and rubbed at his eyes, trying to get his vision back. "Go back to the house..I'll handle the human and get back the girl." Jasper looked furious, "I can go, too!" he started to say angrily. "Jasper.. be reasonable. The human saw you, the human knows you. I can blend in..pretend to be her sister or friend. You knocked Alice out pretty good... she'll be delusional." She said trying to calm him down. She hugged him and whispered, "I promise...I'll get her back..this wasn't your fault. Not at all."
Jasper started back to the warehouse where the others were and Jess began to walk where she had saw the human girl run to. She passed a window and saw that she looked a bit shaggy, so she ran her fingers through her hair and straightened everything out the best she could. When she was done she looked presentable, just as she had wanted. She walked to the doorway and began walking up the stairs...there was only two closed doors in the appartment building, weird? She knocked on one of the doors and an old woman answered. "Excuse me ma'am, I'm looking for my friend..she ran off before and I can't seem to find her..I think I heard her not too far from here. Have you seen her?" The woman appologized and said she hadn't and that she should check next door. "Thank you very much, ma'am." "If I was human I would look just like her...scary." She walked to the next door and knocked. The girl came to the door, timidly. "Excuse me, miss. My friend ran off not too long ago and I can't seem to find her. Someone told me that she might've came this way and the woman next door told me to check here...Have you seen her?" Jess peaked around the girl and saw Alice. "Oh my..she's here...what happened to her...why is she passed out?" She walked around the human and walked over to Alice. "Thanks so much for finding here..I should get her home though, and maybe get her checked out by a doctor." She pulled Alice off teh couch and wrapped her arm around her and picked her up wedding style. The human tried to stop her, no weapons though. "I need to get her to a doctor, now. I have to go." Then, Jess walked out the door with Alice and down the stairs and once she was out began walking quickly around the block and up a different street, just in case the girl was watching her and walked into a street doctor. Once she saw her leave the window she went back to the warehouse.
"Miss me?" Jess said with a smile as she walked in and the others stared at her with a good mixture of shock and surprise.

'What the?' Lila watched the stranger who claimed to be the knocked out girls friend through the windows. 'She seems legit enough...' She walked off back to where she had splash the blood on the vampire's eyes with a bag of items that would help clean up any kind of blood related stains, even in the eyes... 'Oh, that reminds me. Where's my bag?' She searches for her bag desperately and found nothing. "Dam!" She searched for a stick and wrote on the ground: Please don't go hurting poor girls who are defenseless with suicidal thoughts. She placed the bag down with the treatment and left a container of blood. Hopefully, she thought, he wouldn't go looking for that girl or her friend again. "Ah shoot, need to go shopping for some new supplies." She headed back home and though over the fact why didn't she just kill both the girl and vampire at once. But she casually brushed it off and dismissed it by believing it was because of the good mood from earlier.
((Sorry, I just wanted to find a way to enter Lila before she got erased from the rp >//<))

After Neasa's comment Ebony nodded in understanding and looked at the younger lycan critically. To Ebony, the younger lycan looked a mess with ruffled hair, and loosely tied boots as well as stretching and popping joints. Before she could snap a hateful remark however Ebony turned and walked down the corridor to the elevator. Right now wasn't the time to start pointless fights and bickering, what would Alec think if they were late to their destination or failed their mission? No, snapping could wait. Pushing the urge down Ebony pressed the button for the elevator, and looking at her watch timed the transports arrival. When, seconds later the elevator arrived Ebony walked in, her heels echoing down the long corridor. Turning to face outwards Ebony held the elevator door open and gave the two rogues in the corridor a pointed look, urging them to hurry and join her. The rest of the rogues could catch up later.

Jasper rubbed his eyes and grumbled, walking down the street at a hurried pace. Logan was going to chew his face off when he found out that he had lost the little runt…And worst yet, the blood smeared across his face was making him hungrier. “Jasper! Where is she? What happened? Why is there blood on your face?” Jasper looked up but could only see a blur. He rubbed his eyes again to reveal Logan wearing only pants running in his direction. “Jeez Logan, put some damn clothes on.” “There wasn’t time and- Jasper just shut up for once!” Logan looked more frantic then he could ever remember. Jasper sighed and waved a hand in the direction of the lake. “She threatened to jump so I knocked her out. But then some crazy human came and threw, yes threw, blood in my face. That crazy chick carried Alice off. No worries though, Jess followed her.” Logan’s eyes grew wide, but Jasper shrugged. “Have faith in her. Jess knows what she is doing. Come on.” The two walked back to the warehouse together, but the trek was anything but pleasant. Logan kept mumbling about how they should go after the human themselves and Jasper had to keep yanking his own leader’s arm to pull him back on track. Rosen was already boarding up the broken window when they arrived. Shards of bloody glass were pilling in the corner where they had been swept aside. Jasper’s stomach gave a little lurch and Rosen looked up from hammering a nail. Their eyes met, and Jasper suddenly got the impression that she knew exactly how he felt. As he passed by her he tossed down the bag he had accidenly grabbed from earlier, forgetting it for the moment. “Hey Logan, why don’t you clean up this mess…and put a shirt on or something.” Jasper didn’t feel entirely comfortable giving orders like that but he knew he had to keep the Lycan busy. Almost an hour went by before Jess returned. Logan was pacing in front of the door and Jasper had been helping Rosen with the finishing touches on the window repair. Logan ran over to the door and threw it open when he saw Jess coming up the path, an unconscious Alice dangling in her arms. “Miss me?” Jess said with a satisfied smile. Jasper could help but chuckle. “Of course darlin’. Have any trouble with the human?” Jess shook her head. “No, I lost her a few blocks down.”
Logan gently took Alice from Jess and carried her over to the couch. He laid her down, taking care to place a pillow beneath her head and move her arms so she wouldn’t fall on them. He knelt at her side and examined the torn skin. “There is still a lot of glass, but the bump on her head doesn’t look to bad.” He looked over at Jasper who threw up his hands. “She deserved it!” Rosen stepped forward. There was already a pair of tweezers and a roll of gauze in her hands. “Let me take care of her,” she said gently. “I took a course on first aid…when I was human.” Rosen bent low over Alice and set to work removing the shards of glass. Logan was glad Alice was asleep; he had a feeling she wouldn’t enjoy this. As Rose rolled the last bit of gauze across Alice’s wrist Logan stepped forward once more. He gently touched Alice’s forehead and pushed back a strand of loose hair. “Wake up kid. That wasn’t even the worst part of the story.”
Jasper was standing next to Jess a few feet away from the hospital scene. His fists were clenched firmly at his side and he was staring intently at his feet. His blue eyes looked bright but gray and his fangs threatened to spill over his bottom lip. Jess looked up at him and placed a concerned hand on his shoulder. “Everything alright?” “Only hungry,” Jasper whispered. He had no idea how Rose had been able to fix up Alice and walk away. In all his years as a vampire he still couldn’t control himself when too much blood was present. It was just one more reason to get the curse removed.

((Got permission from my cousin, Wandering_Samuraii, to write this while his internet is temprarily out of comisson.))
At the prompting to go in, Ronin began his usual slow, methodical, walk, only now headed towards the elevator with Ebony inside. Just because he could move faster, didn't mean he had to.
On the otherside of this spectrum was Neasa, who began to walk quickly towards the elevator, completely over taking Ronin and making it inside before he was halfway there. She glanced over at Ebony and frowned, crossing her arms behind her head and leaning heavily against the wall, crossing one foot over the other at the ankles. Oh yea, Ebony wasn't in a better mood than any other day, and somehow or another that had just become Neasa's fault.
Ronin stepped into the elevator at last and took up one of the corners, standing there quietly and staring ahead blankly as if nothing in the world would ever bother him.

"Alice, I want you to go into the cellar and lock the door. Do you understand me?" "But Luke!" "Go!" Alice heard a loud bang in the kitchen, followed my the shatter of glass. She saw Luke slip a blade from the pocket of his cloak. The vision faded. She was suddenly running through the back woods of her parent's house. Her mother's screams in the distance. Alice could see her house just beyond the trees, but no matter how hard she ran, she couldn't reach it. Alice tripped on a root and fell forward, landing in a pool of blood. She looked up in fright and bewilderment to see her mother's body before her. Wake up kid...
Alice's eyes fluttered open, reality seeping back, like a plague upon her mind. Logan stood over her, looking as human as ever. She sat up, a million questions on the tip of her tongue when she was stopped short. Her head wringing with pain. Alice clasped a hand to head and saw the gauze. "Ouch..." She muttered as she decided that laying back down would be the best option. "Logan! You got some s'plaining to do!" She yelled.

Logan couldn’t help but laugh. It felt strange but good; he hadn’t really laughed in a very long time. “Its good to have you back,” he muttered, his words barely audible. Logan sat back on his heels so that he was almost eye level with Alice. “Alright, I’ll explain everything, but only if you promise not to go jumping off of anything anymore. If you try it again Im going to tie you to Jasper,” “Can I throw her off of something?” Jasper called from across the room. “A bridge, perhaps?” “Uhg, fine. No jumping, But you have to promise not to strip in front of me anymore, you naked fool.” Alice said, glowering. Logan ignored the comments. “What do you want to know first?” Alice thought for a moment. “How long have you been…like this?” “Diseased? Its alright, you can say it.” He scratched his chin. “For as long as you have known me, that’s for sure. Longer. I stopped counting, but I believe its been 16 or 17 years.” “Luke…was the same, wasn’t he? That makes sense now…” Logan nodded solemnly. “Yes, he too was Diseased. But that is a story for another time.” “Then what is a story for now?” Alice asked eagerly. Logan sighed. “For as long as I have been gone I have thought of how to tell you…but it is difficult and I never thought of a way. I guess I should just…start from the beginning.” He ran a hand through his hair and stared at the broken window, unable to make eye contact anymore. “Your mother was a turned vampire, your father a turned werewolf. But you were born a human. A human that was a carrier of both diseases but showed no sign of infection. And you had the birthmark. The night you were born the moon turned the color of blood and the shadows were at their darkest. The sun didn’t even shine through them for three days. All of the humans were clueless, but the rest of us, we knew. We all knew.” Alice sat up, despite the intense pain it brought to her head. “Logan…” He had stopped talking. He looked up at Alice. Her eyes were wide, afraid but intrigued. He couldn’t tell if she believed him or not, but she wanted him to go on. “Alice, do you remember the story I told you when the nightmares of vampires and giant wolves kept you from sleeping? The one about how one day all of those beasts would be gone because a cure would come along? I wasn’t lying.” Logan saw something click behind Alice’s eyes. “Me?” She breathed. “I am supposed to help you find the Cure?” “You are the Cure, Alice. You have no idea how many people are born and die just to find you. Your mother, father…Luke. They died to protect you. All of us-” he gestured around the warehouse, “and many others are willing to die to keep you safe. You are our only hope to fix this mess, Alice.”

Alice stared at him like he was a mental patient. "You have got to be kidding me...I'm not the-....NO! I can't be..." She felt like her brain was going to explode. "And why exactly are you deciding to spring this on me now?" Alice thought out loud. Then another question struck her. "And why the hell did you leave!?! Luke died the same way as my parents and where the hell where you? Doing tricks for scooby-snacks!?" Yelled, all the hurt and betrayal bubbling back up to the surface. Alice heard Jasper make a sound that sounded like giggle disguised as a cough. And Jess smack him on the back of the head.

Syvra stopped looking for a bandage and looked at Alaric with her blood red eyes. "The Cure just jumped out the window," she simply said, and as Jess, Logan, and Jaspar walked back in with Alice, she said, "And now The Cure is back." She turned her face away from saw that Jasper was struggling. She could see his fangs protruding over his bottom lip and knew that he wouldn't be able to hold himself back for much longer. Putting pressure on her wrist forgotten, she walked over and tapped Jasper on the shoulder with her good arm while offering her torn wrist with the other. "You're not the only one who got hungry when you saw her. Want some?" The blood made trails down her arm, and they seemed to be winking mockingly at Jasper. "It's only to slake the thirst. You should have some."

When Alaric was told the Cure had jumped out the window, he wasn't quite sure how to react. He sat down on a nearby chair and thought it over. The Cure was finally found. They had the Cure here, and it had jumped out the window. That idiot Logan must have just come out and told it everything, expecting some human to just understand, wag its tail and follow him around obediently. If that mangy dog got the Cure killed, Alaric would end him or die trying. He sighed. There was really no point in worrying about it now. After all, he wasn't about to go outside to catch her. Rest would be good. Maybe the Cure would even be there when he got up. They couldn't be so useless that they would be unable to retrieve a runaway human.
He once again entered his tiny abode and settled down to some sleep. Some time later he was vaguely aware of people returning to the warehouse, but the new noise didn't interrupt his sleep for long. Maybe this ragtag bunch wasn't completely hopeless. After all, they did manage to find the Cure before he did.

As Alice was being bandaged up, everyone stood back and watched...some hiding their hunger better than others. Jess looked over to Jasper, his fists were clenched tightly and he was staring at his feet, "...Everything alright?" she asked putting her hand on his shoulder. He whispered, "Only hungry.." She knew the feeling, she hadn't had human blood in two years and she was usually able to control her hunger better than other vampires. This might've been the reason that Rosen was able to control herself well enough to bandage her up. Jess whispered back to Jasper even quieter, "If you want to know the truth..I am too. I know this place I used to go for blood. It's a blood bank for vampires only. We can go and get enough for everybody. God knows everyone needs blood now." Jasper nodded and said, "Alright..let's go." Logan looked up from talking to Alice, "Where the hell do you two think you're going?" Jess laughed and said, "Blood bank...I have a feeling all of the vampires could use some blood without harming anyone right now.." Logan nodded then continued to talk to Alice.
Jess zipped the jacket up half way as they exited the warehouse. "It's completely normal to feel hungry after seeing that much blood.. I was too." Jasper looked over to her with a questioning look, "You didn't show it." Jess smirked, knowingly, "I hide it well, Jasper." As they continued on, they turned into a building that looked like it was closed down and abandoned. Jess stopped and grabbed Jasper's arm. "What? It's just another abandoned building, Jess. Let's go," he said confused. "That's..what they want you to think." she rebutted. Then knocked on the door, in a pattern she learned years ago, then a minute later the door opened up to a long hallway. Jess singaled for Jasper to follow her and whispered, "Don't stray." They walked around and around and finally reached an office.
"Jessica! Come in!" said a handsome vampire, who seemed to be in his thirties. He smiled a fanged grin, "We haven't seen you in years. Oh and you brought a boy this time..who may I ask is he?" Jess laughed, "Geez Andrew..nobody's called me Jessica in such a long time. This is Jasper, he's a very good friend of mine..and yes I know you're thinking it. You can trust him...Anyway.. The reason I'm here...I need enough blood for roughly.. 3 vampires.. to last a week. Can you help?" Jasper stood next to Jess in amazement, looking around the room. Andrew smiled again and said, "Of course, anything for you Jessica. You've been a family friend for decades." Andrew then led them into a vault and supplied them with what she asked for and gave her a black backpack to put them in. "I don't know how we could possibly thank you, Andrew. This is really going to help the crew.. I'm sorry to leave so soon, but we really need to get back." Andrew gave her a weird look and said, "Alright..come back anytime." With that they walked out of the building. "I told you we could get it, Jasper." He wasn't listening, "Who was that guy?" Jess looked up to him, "He's somebody that I met when I was changed. He helped save my life. That's all." They continued to walk and finally made it back to the warehouse.
"Attention all Vampires of the Cursed Warehouse....come here." she said laughing. Nobody listened, however she saw a girl in the corner holding her wrist from where she just bit it. She walked over to her and unzipped the backpack. "Here...this should be better than you're own blood, dear. Jasper...here's one for you, too. I'm taking one and putting the rest in the fridge, don't take too many..I only have enough for each of us for a week."

Logan reached out to touch Alice’s arm but she pulled away from him. He let his arm drop to his side and looked down. “Luke was supposed to explain everything to you….this isn’t the way we wanted this to be. We didn’t want to dump it all on you at once…” He sighed deeply and met Alice’s eyes. “You turned twenty-one this year. According to legend, that is the year that the Ritual must be performed that will cure us.” “What Ritual?” Alice asked suspiciously. “You never told me that story.” “I didn’t know it at the time. Luke told me about it when I was leaving. The legend says that when the Earth created the Cure She entrusted the knowledge of how to use and find It to a select group of guards. The group has long since been separated or killed off, but Luke was part of the bloodline and carried with him the knowledge of his ancestors. He passed on the information to me despite it being against the old group’s laws.” Alice paused a moment to take everything in before continuing, her tone a little less suspicious now that she knew Luke was more involved with this crazy scheme. “And what exactly does this Ritual consist of? You aren’t going to sacrifice any lambs or anything are you?” Logan shook his head. “No lambs. But don’t worry about it, Ill explain everything when the time comes.” He stood up, crossing his arms behind his back after running his hand through his hair one more time. His mouth was set in a firm line and he seemed reluctant to say anything further. Alice gave an unhappy grunt and looked like she wanted to hit him very badly. “None of this explains why you left Logan!” He closed his eyes. “I left because protecting you was my job, and because I cared about you very much Alice. The groups working to save you, including the one I now run, is called the Cursed. But there is a rival group, the one that wants very much to stay Diseased. They are the Rouges, and I once worked for them.” Alice opened her mouth but Logan held up a hand to silence her. “I was tricked by their leader, Alec,” he continued. “Alec saved me, so I believed what he said to me about saving the Cure. But after seven years as working for an assassin, the b*****d told me the truth, that I had been killing innocent people for him. I tried to kill him, but failed and was almost killed myself. And for the second time in my life I was saved. Luke found me and took me in. And I met you.” Logan chuckled sadly. “For some reason that old man trusted me without question. He had me babysitting you within a week.” Alice clenched her fists and looked down. She remembered that Luke had introduced Logan to her as a guy who needed a job and a place to stay, so he would be living with them and doing odd jobs since Luke was getting older. She shook her head. How could she have believed that too? “So why did you leave us? If you cared about me and Luke so much why did you leave us to fight on our own?” “Because Alec wants to kill me almost as bad as he wants to find you. He knew my face and was bound to find me eventually. I was a threat to you, don’t you understand?” Logan watched as Alice’s kitten came out of nowhere and hopped onto her lap. It nuzzled into her stomach, mewing in protest for having been ignored for so long. He almost smiled thinking of Luke naming the little hairy thing. But any chances of a smile melted away when he looked back up at Alice. “I’m sorry,” Logan said quietly. “I was coming back. It was only a few years and then Luke and I would look for each other. I never suspected that Luke…” Logan looked away. “It wasn’t goodbye forever.” He turned away, his face looking like stone. “But you are here now and that’s what matters. Soon we can perform the Ritual and we can all go back to our normal lives. You and your fleabag will go back to your cozy apartment and us terrible creatures will only be a bad memory.” Logan walked over to the kitchen, throwing open the refrigerator to sift through it. He came back out with a pile of food similar to breakfast’s ingredients. Not even Jasper noted that it was a bit early for lunch when Logan clicked on the burners to the stove.
Jasper was still a little astounded by the blood bank to say much, but he took the pack of blood with a nod of thanks. He smiled over at Syvra. “Thanks for the wrist offerin’, Syvra darlin’, but I guess your personal café is closed now that we got ourselves some blood that isn’t still pumpin’ through veins.” Jasper walked over to the window to have a little privacy, carefully avoiding Logan in his moody cloud of angst. He turned his back on the group and sank his fangs straight into the bag, cringing at how cold the blood was. The taste was horrible, but just like any starving individual he got down every bit without complaint. Crumpling the empty bag within his fingers, Jasper returned to Jess and Syvra’s side. There was still one thing on Jasper’s mind. “So uhh…Jess…” He coughed. “How do you, uh, know that guy? The one at the blood bank? Any…relation…ship?”
Rosen listened intently to the whole story Logan told, standing only a few feet away. It angered her that Logan had known the Cure for years and hadn’t told a soul about it, but she found that she wasn’t surprised. After thinking it over a second she even understood his motives. It would be much to dangerous to give any indication that he had person relations with the Cure or her caretaker. It was like painting a target on your forehead, and Logan already had quiet a large one there. So Rosen sighed and shrugged it off. Besides, why trust her with that kind of information anyway? She had only been here a few weeks and had gone remotely unnoticed for the entire duration of the time. Rosen watched as Logan stormed over to the kitchen. In her short time being here Rose had learned that cooking was Logan’s little way of relieving stress. She thought he might strangle somebody if the stove ever broke. On her first day she had seen Jasper try to get Logan to cook a hot pocket, and being unable, unplug the stove while the Lycan had his back turned. Around dinner time there had been a bang and she had run downstairs to see Jasper bursting out of the oven. How Logan had gotten him in there she would never know and didn’t dare ask. Rosen looked back over to Alice and gave a sympathetic sigh. She walked over to the young girl. “Here, let me check your bandages.” She gave a kind smile and knelt down at Alice’s said, picking up her arm gently and turning it around. When she was sure that no one was paying attention, most notably Logan, she leaned in a little closer. “Don’t let him fool you,” Rose whispered. “Logan has been worrying about you every minute that I have been here; every minute that he has been gone I’m sure. He is always preaching about how important it is to find you and keep you safe.” Rose leaned in even closer. “And sometimes, when it is in the middle of the night and he sleeps, I lay awake and I can hear him mumbling in his sleep about you. I didn’t know he was talking about the Cure, though. He never told any of us he knew the Cure.” Rosen leaned back again and nodded, smiling. “Your bandages seem just fine. You heal quickly.” She stood and walked over to Jess, Syvra, and Jasper. Silent once more, she reached over and plucked a blood bag from Jess without making eye contact. She gave a small nod of thanks and slid into a chair at the table. ((Hahaha, sorry for the novel guys))

Alice sat there for a moment, taking in Rosen's words. So...he didn't forget about me. He mumbled my name... in his sleep? Alice felt herself blush. Whether it was from the thought of being in his dreams or from the mere fact that she couldn't see to remove the image of half-naked Logan from her mind, she wasn't sure. Rosen leaned out from the kitchen and said, "Hey kid why don't you come in here." Alice nodded and stood, blood rushed to her head making her vision fade in and out. She staggered into the kitchen and took a seat in the chair next to Rose. "A little punch-drunk?" Jasper said, Alice stuck her tongue out at him and continued to rub her temples. The smell of fried ramen wafted from the stove, causing numerous flash backs. Alice remembered when Luke would cook that for her when she was sad, or sick. He wound up having to cook it for a week straight when Logan left. Was he making fried ramen because of her? No...he wouldn't... Logan's words ran through her mind, “But you are here now and that’s what matters. Soon we can perform the Ritual and we can all go back to our normal lives. You and your fleabag will go back to your cozy apartment and us terrible creatures will only be a bad memory.” What did he mean by that? Was he going to just disappear after the ritual? Leave her alone again. Alice felt a pang of loneliness at the prospect of him leaving her again.
