Alex just stared at the hand that was offered to him, actually a little confused. " So, you'd offer your hand to the very race that demands nothing else but your extinction?" He asked her as he looked up. " I guess i've seen crazier things. Thanks. Oh, and trust me. His 'deals' have a habit of giving the reciever more then what they bargain for." He told her as he glared back at Styx.

Christian stood, finally turning his attention to the human. "What's your name? I'm Angel." "Stop saying that as your name! It's makes you sound gay, and I don't want to hang out with a gay guy." Sonney said, poking Christian's head. Christian punched Sonney in the nose, adding to the pain that was already coursing though his body because of the poison that was on Christian's weapons. "Aww, I got blood and snot on my knuckles, gross." Christian took out a tissue and wiped his hand off and looked around for somewhere to put the dirtied cloth. Not finding anywhere, he shoved it into Sonney's pocket. "Ah! Don't do that!" Sonney said, pulling the tissue out of his pocket, throwing it back at Christian, only to have wind throw it back in his face. Christian laughed once again, and jumped back when Sonney took a swipe at him. Christian walked up to the human, and tried to introduce himself again. "I'm Angel, and this is Sonney. He's the god of the Sun." He smiled, not sticking out his hand, but rocking back and forth on his heels. When Sonney tried to sneak up behind him, he turned on the balls of his feet, and kicked him square in the forehead. He turned back around and waited for a name from the newcomer human.

Alex just watched the feud between this fighter and the god, and he only sighed. "Apparently, you're situation is no different from mine. If anything, the roles seem to be reversed." He said as he offered his hand to either one. "The name's Alexander. Alexander Keith. I'm guessing you know the name of the damn leech over here. Formally known as Styx, god of the underworld."
Stix, just levitating by, seemed to look down at him. "I'm glad you think of me as such a companion." He teased to him as he placed his scythe upon his shoulder.

"No, not quite totally reversed. I bet you don't hang out with him all the time like I do with him," Christian said, nodding first to Styx and then to Sonney. He grabbed Alex's hand before Mari could, "Nice to meet you, Alex!"

Mari shook his hand after Angel. With a sigh, she glanced at everybody. '
"This might sound like a really silly question, but what are you guys doing here on the outskirts of town? After all, its not usual for so many fighter . . . . and gods to be in the same place at the same time."
Taking a breath, she paused. "And . . . well, I have a house nearby. If you guys want to take a break. It's on the outskirts. The townspeople don't know who I am, and they usually steer clear."
Looking at Styx, she smiled. "And . . . I would like to talk to you a little bit. I may have a proposition to make."

Alex just made a small laugh. "No, only at the worst times." He then looked at Mari, and sighed. 'Well, it's a long story, but I guess I have nothing else better to do. You see, a fighter visited my village not too long ago. When he lived in my house, I admired him. Like a goal I wished to reach, and somehow overcome. Until the village found out about him. The entire populus of the village overcame him, even when I tried to defend him. Because I defended him, I was banned from my village, and they publically executed the fighter. So, I begged to Styx to gain the strength of a fighter, and all he did was have anyone who ever met me erase their thoughts of me. After then, I took the fighter's armor, had it re-forged in my size, and even took the liberty of taking his symbol as a means of apology." He said as he removed his sleeve, releaving the dragon encircling his arm. "I'm trying to find a way for fighters and humans to co-exist." He told them as he put his sleeve back down. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Styx, however, was just dragging on, glad to have the attention of the girl. " Ah, I see you're here to make a bargain with me, young lady. Would you like yo discuss the terms of your deal?" He asked her, fiddling one of his skulls.

"Hm?" Christian said, "oh, Sonney and I were just passing through when we found a few travelers who were stumbled upon a scene of a few dead fighters. We decided to stay with them a few hundred meters north of here." Sonney nodded in agreement. "Oh, we would love to stay at your place, by the way," Sonney piped in, giving up on sneaking up on Christian and going to stand next to him.

Amaria thought silently about Alex's story. It was something that her father had been trying to do for a very long time. But . . . his dreams had been short-lived, and he had been unable to succeed. Possibly, she'd help Alex. Her goals had very much been the same. Yet, she'd wait to mention anything about it.
Glancing up at Styx, she smiled. "Someone seems eager to discuss another deal." Waving her hand, she turned away. "Not now. Eventually I'll discuss it with you. Looks like you'll just have to stick around."
At Sonney's words, she gestured towards the woods. "Alright. It's getting late . . . follow me. I'll take you guys to the house." With that said, she began to walk towards the northern side of the town, going slowly for the others to follow.

Alex just looked to Amaria, and tried to re-assure her. "Trust me, he's REALLY not the type of person you'd want to strike a deal with. His deals are more....lessons. He tries to teach people that life is something you can't cheat. Not to mention he has a sick sense of humor. So be careful of what you wish for." He warned her for the last time.

Christian and Sonney didn't really care what Mari did with Styx, but she was giving them a decent place to sleep and food. They followed happily and Sonney tried to reinforce Alex's argument, "Yea, we don't know exactly what you want to talk to Styx for, but I agree with Alex. Styx just likes to torture people with his random deals." "But, Alex made a deal with Styx, and he doesn't seem so bad," Christian pointed out, weakening what Sonney and Alex had said, "Kinda makes Alex a hypocrite, huh?" Christian was right, and Sonney knew it, so he had nothing further to say to Mari about it. He didn't want to get into another fight with Christian, anyways.

Dimitri sat in the tree watching all of this silently. great...first god of war, then god of death, then god of the underworld...how many freaking gods are there that center around the dead and what happens, war kills, death collects, underworld sorts...what else is therehe thought. He jumped out of the tree and headed back towards the town, he was meeting someone very important.

Amaria glanced over at Alex as she walked. "I'll be careful. I can . . . " she paused for a moment, making sure that what she said would be true, "I can take what I've reaped." Surprised that Sonney and Alex cared about the deals she made with people, she laughed lightly. "It's fine. He's going to have to wait a little while before i fully propose anything to him anyways."
Finally, the trees began to thin. And there stood the house. It wasn't enormous, in urban standards, but for a house on the outskirts of Farransworth, it was fairly large. In total, if Amaria could remember correctly, the house had twenty rooms, fully equiped. She considered opening the place up as an inn one day.
Walking towards the large wooden door that signified the main entrance, she knocked once. Slowly, the door opened and an older man, lean, yet wirey, appeared behind the door.
"Miss . . . " he paused at the sight of the guests. "Miss Amaria."
"Goodevening Fiscal. Sorry if we came too late. I ran into a bit of a distraction." Smiling, she stepped inside as Fiscal opened the door further. Leaving the door open for the others, Amaria glanced around at the meager yet full decorations and the tidy state of things. Fiscal had done a good job of keeping things in order.

Dimitri walked into a tavern and sat at the bar. "What do you want?" Tge innkeeper asked in a gruff voice. he was a tall man, and probally as wide as he was tall, he had a scar over his left eye and his left arm missing. "I'm looking for...relic" Dimitri said, sliding the sleeve on his left arm up abit just showing his hidden blade."second floor first one on the right". "Thank you" Dimitri said before heading upstairs. He stopped infront of the door the innkeeper had told him. He knocked three times. "on nockso hen shi?". "Ich shone jatu" Dimtri said rolling his ehyes. The sound of several different bolts and various locks being opened then the door swung open. a old man peeked his head out. He was probally about 50 years old. his face covered in wrinkles, his hair greying and falling out. "Dimitri my boy, come in come in" He opened the door wider. Dimitri stepped through the door.

Alex walked inside the house, and sighed a bit with relief. "It's about time i've had a wooden roof over ym head. And not just a bunch of tree branches either. Now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to grab a well-deserved shower." He said as he began taking of the top part of his armor as he tried to find the bathroom.

The old man shuffled and sat down onto the bed after resecuring all the locks. "So my boy how did the"job" go?...I assume that by the fact you're still alive to come and report back too this old man that you succeded in your task?" The old man said. "Yes master Jericho, it was just like you had said, the perimeter was very tight but the inner patrols were too lax". "And so ends another pompious politicain...a toast is in order I beleive" The old man said and fished out two small wine glasses and a bottle of wine, he poured them with shackey hands and handed one to Dimitri. "To the end of another thorn in the side of Fighters everywhere" jericho put the glass to his lipsand tilted his head back breifly showing part of his mark that ran over his body andup his neck, Jericho was one of the oldest living fighters to date and was quiet possably able too beat anyone. "I must ask thought. you were late...why is that?". "I ran into some trouble...it was...a god". Jericho's patient eyes widened slightly. " A god you say...what was his name...or was it a her?". "Well...his name was mallik". "mallik...as in the god of war...the man who could slayed an entire birgade of fighters... and yet you have no injuries?". Dimitri took off his shirt showing the bandages. The master began examaning. "well you have three broken ribs and matbe some internal bleeding...but I guess your lucky...from the stories I had heard it could have ended much worse".
