To be honest, Koreck wasn't entirely sure why he disliked fairies so much. He guessed it was because they disliked and hunted the kinds of creatures he tended to associate with when in the human world. Things had improved to some extent since his coming here. He had managed to convince Veera to not send many convicts and other fairies that were normally banished to the human world in the fairy one.

He simply nodded at Elc's statement, "There are worse places."

Koreck glanced at the princes and the lady human fairy, his eyes blank. Most fairies didn't much like him either. He couldn't blame them. They would like him even less if they realized who he was, and he didn't intend to let that happen any time soon. He wasn't ready to go home just yet.

"Yeah, I think it was cause I had kept my head stuck in books up in the library. I dunno if I could be as chatty as I was back then, though; either I'd run out of things to say, or my mouth would run off from me." she also laughed as the two took seats a bit away from the commotion up front. It was nice to be able to talk to someone other than her brother for a change.

"Reading is a very healthy habit, though lately I've taken to observations, finally. I've been researching and studying the plants and animals back at home, and recording all sorts of stuff. Perhaps I'll make a book one day." she shrugged. "But I mainly do it for fun."

Evan looked at the boy as he was obviously having some family issues; most likely from the stresses of working with this whole marry-the-Golden-Fairy-to-stop-the-war thing. "Eh, I think everyone's been tense lately, with all the stuff going on." he agreed.

To his complete and utter surprise Cain's hands relaxed and he didn't feel quite so angry anymore. "I suppose you're right... My father told me that "The hope of the entire kingdom lies in you, don't let us down." As if I needed anymore stress..." He sighed, shaking his head.

Elc laughed. "Indeed there are."

(( ... not really sure what else to put there sweatdrop ))

Evan sighed. "Arg, I've been through the same mess with my father. Says that I should not worry about it and just try my best. Too bad his tone and face said otherwise." he sighed in agreement, and kept his voice low despite the fact that the parents were at the other side of the table, in their own conversation.

((Sorry, should have given you more to work with, I guess))

"Tell me," Koreck mused, not looking at Elc but instead the threads of the table cloth, "How much do you know about this legend of the Fairy of Gold?" he tried to speak quietly, as to not attract the attention of those nearby. He was quite curious as to how much information Veera had given out. The tale was quite extensive, and he knew that many of the less important details must have been left out. But he had never actually asked anyone. And since this man was the Oracle, he seemed like someone that would know more than most anyways. And Koreck was not one to withold interesting tidbits when it suited him to reveal them. Besides, Veera wouldn't mind too much.

Lasarina smiled, an actual warm and friendly smile. "Well, how bout this? When you write your book, I'll be the first to buy a copy." She offered.

Elc frowned and he glanced over at the Lady in question. "Not much, I'm afraid," he replied in an equally low tone, "Only that she used to be a human. I've only just recently returned from a trip to the human world, so I'm as in the dark as anyone about this." He looked at Koreck, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "I was going to ask her some things tonight if I got the chance," he said slowly. "And you? Being so close to Queen Veera, perhaps you've heard something?"

"Hm, that's kind of you to offer, but it'll take awhile to finish." Violet answered. Lasarina seemed interested, so she decided to continue.

"You see, I've been working on the plants and animals of just one realm so far, my homeland, and I was going to try as many realms as I can. Then there's all the stuff included: class, habits, color, texture, mating patterns, interaction with humans, and other stuff. Then I'd make one giant encyclopedia (or just a guide) that'd be very useful for the townsfolk. That way (let's use water realm as example), since many don't leave their hometown and would never know much about water creatures, they'll have a better idea about the outside worlds. It helps to spread culture, and it'd be fun along the way. Of course, my brother thinks I'm nuts cause of it (as well as dad, most likely...), but it's really very interesting." she babbled on, without realizing it.

Koreck snickered, "Oh I've heard all I need and more. Lady Veera is not entitled to keep information from me if I request it. But that's another story," he coughed, and folded his hands on the table, "Miss Faye has no memory of the transformation, which I suppose is for the best. Whenever a being turns from one thing to another, it is never without pain. Just having wings grow out of one back would likely be painful enough to make her faint on her own. She's lucky that whatever turned her into what she is now was merciful enough to knock her out first."

He shook his head, a slight grimace on his face He knew what that pain was like. He had to go through it any time he shifted forms, so naturally, he tried to avoid that whenever possible, even if he was use to it to some extent.

"Do you have any specific questions?" he cocked he head, pushing his thoughts aside.

That night, Wafiya laid in bed and wondered what on earth she's going to do for an entire week until she goes to the Moon Temple for the gathering of the entire royal family. Wafiya could hardly wait! She liked being with people from other realms. Wafiya rolled over to look out the window at the starry sky. Then Wafiya began to think. She knew she had nothing to do all week. She couldn't find anything to do all week. Why couldn't she just go to the Moon Temple early? Wafiya jumped out of bed and turned on the light. She ran to her closet to get her suitcase. She threw it on her bed and went back into the closet to get clothes and such. She came out barely able to hold all her clothes she needed and dropped them on the bed. She began folding and packing all the clothes.

Wafiya eventually finished packing and put her suitcases on the couch to get ready to go tomorrow morning. Oh, wait. How will she get there? Wafiya went over to the kitchen and made herself a cup of hot chocolate. Wafiya sat down at the kitchen table sipping hot chocolate and thinking. Maybe she could take a unicorn? She debated about that because she wanted to travel comfortably, maybe sneak in a few naps on the way. No. Better idea, she could call a carriage service. That would be good. Wafiya decided to call even though it was well after 10pm.

The arrangements were made, everything was packed, all Wafiya had to do was go to bed, so she did.

It was with a small amount of surprise that Cain realized that he actually liked Evan. Well, wasn't that shocking? And once he realized and accepted that little tid bit he relaxed a little bit and felt less on edge and like he had to compete with the other prince; Maybe if he thought of Evan more as a friend and less as competion then if he didn't win Faye over and Evan did he could accept it more and be happy for the Wind fairy. Yes, that was it, that was exactly how he'd view things from now on. After all, he had no real quarrel with him. "I have a feeling that my father might actually disown me if I "fail him" this time, though. I've never been quite the son he wanted." Cain laughed in a slightly bitter but still amused sounding tone.

Lasarina leaned forward, completely absorbed. She didn't very often read books of that particular type, but she had a lust for knowledge that would definetly be satisfied by all of that information.

Evan noticed now that Cain seemed more relaxed now, as if he was more comfortable talking with the two. "Why would he do that?" Evan asked, rather surprsied. He knew that the family never got along well with each other, but they obviously needed a heir, right? Sure, they could put Lasarina in charge, but it'd still be a cheap shot.

Violet noticed the girl lean foward sudddenly, hanging on to every word. That was odd; perhaps they were more alike than she realized. "U-uh, well, I still have what I've got so far with me, if you want to take a look...just be careful." Violet said, and reached into her bag that was around her shoulder. She took out the decorated notebook and sat it on the table, being careful not to spill anything on it. She had no backup copy, but a notebook cover that was waterproof, to a point.

Lasarina carefully pulled the natebook towards her and eased it open, then with her amazing multitasking powers she scanned and talked. "After this all resolved your book will probably be alot eaier to write. With no wars going on there'll be no restrictions on travel between kingdoms, right?" She asked.
