WiskersThCatfish Well coming back to answer fer serious, I'd have to say... my favorite character from an anime, ie. the one I'd like to think I could be, would be Gene from Outlaw Star, being a fan of cowboys myself. However, if we're talking "connection" I'll have to go with Haruhi. When I go out to ogle girls, I find myself comparing them to her, oddly enough; since I first saw that anime a while ago, I've questioned where "my" Haruhi is, exactly... hopefully not too far away; I'm only getting older... I've gleaned, from a number of... erm... fanarts, that Haruhi is something of a b***h. Great fanart. Still no desire to watch the show.

I just watched the whole series today. . . From what I've seen, she's a bit eccentric and a little childish and bossy, but otherwise an okay girl. I definitely wouldn't date someone like that, myself. But that's because she's not really my type. . .

What the hell is wrong with you? @Jimmy — You're apparently not the only fan that has a thing for her. I've seen the pictures, you can't be the only person that has an awkward crush on her. Anyway, it'll be interesting to hear if you figure out the "why".

I've been watching a show recently that contains another character that I think I've "fallen" for, and this topic had me comparing her to Haruhi. By crossing the two girl's personalities to see what matched, I think I found that what I like is a spastic, intelligent girl, who's just a tad commandeering. Not a lot, mind you. Just enough. Though, above all, I think I require just a bit of quirkiness. I need her to be weird or different. I need her to definitely stand out. Whatever the reason.
So I think Haruhi is definitely the end of that spectrum. For me, all women fall on the line somewhere, where she is the model at the end. However, there is a half-way mark, I think. I'm looking for someone between that seventy five and fifty percent mark. Anyone closer then that would just be to overbearing for me.
Also Lord Mikey should probably be warned. confused

This is a toughy but I would say tenchi muyo for me, he is generally kind and caring and that is why he gets all the girls smile !!! Also you see him fight he can handle himself too. Pretty much is laid back so yea he pretty much is the man.
