Aya once again stayed silent as the boy talked. She smiled a bit as he 'gave' her a name.
"I'm Aya. Aya Takashi." she said, accepting his suggestion and sitting down, crossing her legs at the ankle. She gulped as he talked about the dangerous fish, remembering the slimy feelings against her leg earlier. She nodded at his warning, though it wasn't as if she could have stopped herself.
"We're on Yamori Isla-" she tried to answer before he had spotted the fish. Unexpectedly, she began laughing. He seemed so upbeat about everything. She wasn't used to seeing such bliss and happiness in a person, therefore seeing it seemed funny to her.

"I'll probably skip a few days, but I'll still have to go. Can't risk getting kicked out, if you know what I mean."

Lois smiled, standing up. He dusted off his butt, pulling down his shirt a little bit. He let his pants hang low, preferring to avoid the use of a belt. The jeans weren't baggy, but fell perfectly over his black flip flops. He offered his hand to Aki.

Harmony smiled as he shook her hand. Releasing his hand, she placed it back into her sweatshirt pocket with her other hand. "Eep!" Harmony suddenly jumped back and looked down at the ground. A gecko has crawled over her foot, being bare from wearing sandals. She hadn't noticed the little creatures much before and the weird feel of it crawling over her foot surprised her. Harmony looked back up at Riley and blushed. "S-sorry," she mummbled looking back at the ground.

Riley chuckled, crouching down to pick up the green reptile. He let it crawl up his arm, before feeling it settle on his shoulder.

"They're harmless," he smiled.

Of course, with science came animals. Riley had grown quite found of animals, especially reptiles. Before his parents had sent him off, the boy had owned two garter snakes and a bearded lizard. He smiled at Harmony once more before reaching to grab the gecko. He held it to her.

"Just feel it. It's really cool," he promised.

He wasn't sure what to make of the situation, but he'd got her laughing at something and that's always a good sign. "Ya-mo-ri? Is that in Russia or something?" He asked still prodding the water trying his utmost to capture the tasty morsel of fish. "If we're in Russian territory than we've nothing to worry about the fish then. Piranha only like tropic areas like Hawaii." It was obvious Lite didn't know what he was talking about, but he seemed convinced of it anyway.

Lite looked at Aya, though still carefully eying his attempted supper. "You know, I've never met anyone named Aya before. It's a pretty name, though. As pretty as erm...um...all the other really pretty names!" He thought about it for a minute. I've really never heard of that name before, but who's ever heard of the name Lite? We must be from the same origins of naming! Woah. Lite's epiphany ran short when he picked up the plant from the water with a fish dangling on it. "Woah! Would you look at that? I've never seen a fish being caught like this before. I must be one with nature!" He nodded confidently. "Do you like fish? I think they're pretty awesome, myself. I hope I'm not talking too much." Lite had grasped the fish's body with his hand and was waving it around as he spoke.

"Well, yea. But if you can get away with once or twice a week in those preppy private schools, I'm willing to bet you can here." Aki said, taking his hand and letting him help her up. She tugged her pants up, prefering to keep them on her hips. Despite what some of the other girls back home had said, she wasn't a complete slut. Only on occasion when she wanted to be.

Erin sat up groggily, blinking a few times before realizing what had happened during her catnap. Cursing silently to herself, she sat up, shouted a quick "Just a minute," and shuffled through the bag she usually carried everywhere, pulling out a scrunchie and what was now a quite necessary bra and struggling it on under her shirt before heading to the door. She looked through the peep hole only to find that the number 4 that she had put in front of the preexisting number 2 had blocked it. Sighing, she straightened up a bit and opened the door.

It was her. The girl... Arkell. Erin was nonplussed a moment, her face blank, before she realized and threw up a smile. Nothing to worry about; she was probably going around and saying hello to everybody, or happened to also like the number 42. She seemed crazy enough like that. "Oh, hello! Is there anything you need, or something?" She didn't wait for a reply, instead gathering her hair up to the back of her hair to secure it into a ponytail, thus getting it out of her face.

The months of courses and what was essentially training had led Erin to be fairly familiar with her form this way, but that didn't make it any less uncomfortable at times. It sometimes felt like such a huge lie, particularly when she spoke to people, as though any second they'd put two and two together and want nothing to do with her... or him. Add to that the knowledge that every movement, expression, word... everything would be remembered perfectly, for better or for worse. It was a lot of pressure after a while, and while they still weren't sure what caused the changes she was sure that the stresses of either form reaching a certian peak was a big part of it.

Harmony looked up and silently watched as Riley picked up the gecko. She wasn't a fan of reptiles, no matter how small they were, but she nodded her hand. Lifting her hand up, she moved it toward the gecko and stuck out her index finger. She gently placed her finger on the gecko's head and ran it down its neck. " Guess I overreacted, but I didn't know what crawled over my foot. Evil little creature." Harmony said with a joking smile. She didn't really think the gecko was evil, but it was obvious that she was just joking.

Aya shrugged. She wasn't sure how the piece of land had been named, only that it had one. She didn't know about Piranhas either, only that they had razor sharp teeth and would eat anything, including each other.
She smiled warmly at his compliment. "Well thank you."
She eyed the fish warily. "I don't really like how slimy they are." she answered, shuddering. She was hoping to God that he wouldn't accidentally lose grip of the aquatic animal, the way he was waving it around. One reason was because with her luck, it would probably land somewhere next to her. The other was knowing the fact that after he'd gone through the work to catch the fish, when he lost it, he would either get angry or disappointed. And frankly, she wasn't planning to see the angry version of his reaction.

Arkell looked up into the face of...a girl. Her shoulders fell as she looked down at her diary flipping it open. She had managed to jot down the room number and looked at the name again and then back up into the girls face. "Are you...Aaron Leerup?" she asked her breath still kind of raspy. She had been running for awhile and her self conscious nerves flaring up since it wasn't the person she had been looking for.

Her hair flared up in the pink again and her hands started to shake. "No...no i suppose you wouldn't be...Ah I'm sorry to bother you miss..." her voice fell as she turned and began walking away dejectedly.

Lite wasn't aware enough of her reaction towards the fish and he continued to wave it around as if it were a flying bird, making the corresponding noises as well. Eventually, to his dismay, the fish had struggled free and fell into the water again. "Oh, well what can you do, right? After all, it's probably happier in the water than in my stomach! Haha!" He gave a calmed smile, and picked up a gecko which had been attempting to make its way towards her. "Hey there little fella! Hey look, Aya, a gecko!" He handled it very carefully. "These things are super cool, you know. I think they have like, webbed feet and stuff." Though he absentmindedly put the gecko down before she could say anything. "Hey, that cloud looks like a kitten, awww. It's so cute!" he said without hesitation.

"Hey!" She spoke up without thinking, feeling a twinge of guilt at basically having to pretend to not know her when there was obviously some memory of Aaron dancing around in Arkell's head. "I am Erin Leerup, so you've got the right dorm... do you need me for something? Is the meeting starting up, or maybe you're just going around and saying hello to everybody?"

She smiled again, in what was supposed to be a reassuring way; her initial training had explained that people found it harder not to listen to a person when they remembered everything that person said regardless of how much they were paying attention. For that matter, when it came to Aaron and people in search of him, oftentimes a leading approach would satisfy their lingering doubts and the feeling of forgetting something without having to spill the beans, which she found useful since the beans were fairly large and hard to get anybody to swallow, be they the truth or not.

Aya cringed as the fish fell back into the water. Hearing a cheery voice instead of what she was expecting, she opened one eye, then the other. He was perfectly fine with the fish escaping. She blinked. She hadn;t expected that.
She watched him pick up the gecko and smiled. She rather liked geckos. They were so small and interesting. She thought back to the gecko she'd almost killed and frowned slightly. She planned to check on it later to make sure it had gotten away safely.
She looked up towards the cloud he spoke of.
"It does." she replied then pointed to a different, misshapen cloud. "It's a....hmm....a gargoyle without a head? Or maybe a wrecked car?" she guessed trying to play his game.

Logan heard someone knocking on the door of the room next to his. He heard voices... "Ah, so that's who my neighbor is." he murmured, frowning a little. He listened to Arkell seem dismayed, and then Erin was talking, asking if the girl needed anything. Sighing, he set his sketch materials aside and got off his bed, before wandering to the door. The training area was remotely quiet, which meant not many were in there. Looking out his door, he spied Arkell, and then Erin in the doorway of her room.

"I believe they're going to call people for the meeting... After all, they can't expect people who have just arrived to know about it." Logan stood slightly outside his door, resting his head against the frame. So much for the headache going away. "Sorry about earlier." he murmured.

He tried to look for the cloud she pointed at, but Lite was having trouble seeing it. He thought to himself, maybe if I looked down her arm I'll see it. Lite positioned his head right next to her arm and then he saw what she saw. "Oh yeah! There it is, I think it's the beheaded gargoyle, definitely more peculiar than a wrecked car. Man, there's nothing better than watching the clouds on a day like today. Say, is there anything you want to do? All we've done are things I like doing. What do you want to do Aya?" He looked gently towards her, making sure she wasn't getting the wrong impression of his dazed attitude.
