Celebor laughed heartily at the idea of Niyana running around like he usually did, but he didn't comment on it. He did, however, watch, grinning, as she changed her clothes.
"If you'd like," he offered when she turned to face him again, "I can braid your hair for you when we get back ... and in exchange, I might be willing to allow you to braid mine."
He winked at her, but he was perfectly serious. He had always been possessive of his little half-braid, always been wary of letting people touch it, had never let anyone but his mother braid it for him - but he somehow was amused by the idea of having Niyana take care of it for him.
He stepped forward and took her hand, clasping it tightly in his own, and smiled warmly at her. "Yes," he agreed happily, "let's go."
And he opened the door and led Niyana out into the grove of trees that surrounded the entrance to their cave.

Niyana gave him a soft warm smiled, "Well I hope I can braid it back the way you have it...I would love to do your hair, my lord...alright then we will take a bath tonight and fix each other's hair." She gave a soft velvety laugh.
As he took her hand and started to lead her away she grabed her jar and followed him out. "Well I wonder where we should start?" She looked around at the bright sunny day. "You know this really is a perfect day to start a family."
She laughed and squeezing his hand softly she moved them out of the grove and into the open field.

Celebor chuckled softly. "Well, when I first met Raspy, I was by the river," he suggested, "so why don't we- wait, I forgot my bag, I'll be right back."
He squeezed her hand and ran back into the grove, then the cave, and grabbed his bag from the ground. He had no idea where they would end up going or how long they would be gone, but there was food in his bag, as well as supplies for whatever situation might arise.
He swiftly returned outside to join Niyana once again, reaching for her hand as he slung his bag over his shoulder. "Sorry about that," he smiled at her. "I thought it might be a good idea. Now ... where were we ... yes, the river. I first met the goddess Raspy there, why don't we head there first? And if they're not there, it's at least a beautiful area, we could just relax for a bit."

Niyana laughs and watches him run back in. She smiled and looked up at the beautiful clouds. "Its a prefect day to form a child." she said to herself then hearing him comming back out she nods, "That is a very good idea. Oh? I have not met the goddess Raspy, but I have met the goddess Minty. She is very kinda."
She smiled remembering the image she painted on a tree coming to life. She didn't forget to keep the promise she made the goddess and often tried to paint on none living flesh. "I met her in a field with a tree....not this one though...hmm...maybe it was this one...it seems so very long ago." She took her mate's hand and kissed it, "The river first then...hopefully we do not get too relaxed.

Celebor smiled warmly and nodded at Niyana. "I've met the goddess Minty as well," he murmured, "a long ... long time ago. She gave me my spell, to breathe under the water ... but I haven't seen her since then. They're both very kind."
The pointed tips of his ears reddened slightly when she kissed his hand, and he squeezed her hand gently in return.
"Perhaps we should occupy ourselves in some other manner, just in case?" he chuckled at her. "Something that would not ... tempt us?"
If there was such a thing.

Niyana smiles, "I am very glad to hear you have met goddess Minty!" she smiled, "It will make it easier because you know them both. So I am sure both like you. " she smiled and allowed him to lead her towards the river.
"Hmm...something to not tempt us....well you could teach me to read better...or i can help you train?" She tried to think of something that would not lead them into a position they would not want the goddesses to see them in.
She laughed lightly, well it would give one of two signs, she was sure. One they were really in love and wanted a family or two that they were people who only wanted to fool around. She really did not want them to see her and Celebor like that so they would have to fight the temptation.
Okay she was 100% determined not to get distracted by her mate...not until after they show they were worthy of raise children...then she would give him some congratulations.

Celebor thought about her suggestions for activities and nodded slowly. "I think either would be good," he agreed. "But ... I did leave the books at home ..."
He felt a strange feeling in his chest, a warm feeling, when he called the cave home, and it made his smile grow even more.
"... so reading will have to wait," he concluded, still smiling widely. "But training, I think we could ..."
He trailed off again. He had left his weapons back at the cave, too.
He laughed. "I've gone and left my weapons at home, too," he admitted sheepishly. "So I'm not sure ... unless you wanted to try hand to hand ... though we could also look for more henna leaves, if you want, I'm not sure how much dye we have left."
After all, finding the dye didn't mean making it or using it, so that was a safe activity, right? On the other hand ... it did mean wandering in the tall grass ...
He shook off his thoughts. They had to be good ... they had to show the goddesses that they would be good parents ...

Niyana smiled each time one of her eyes almost worked then sighed when he pointed out how they couldn't. "Well we could always practice knife and daggers with thick sticks?"
She nods, "Well we might want to stalk up on the dye and colors...we are having guest soon." She laughed, "And I want to make sure I have the right color for Jair." She sighed, "Oh crap I forgot to ask what colors Idhril will need."
She looked up at Celebor with a slightly sadden face. She did not want to disappoint her new sister. "Well...I guess we will just have to get a bit of every color?" She laughed, "Well we can get enough to fill my jar up I am sure...and we can look along the river for colors and henna plants."
Yes this should keep them away from temptation. They were doing good.

Celebor felt a pang of guilt each time the disappointment showed in Niyana's eyes, and he was very glad when she made some suggestions of her own to replace the ones that he had failed her on.
"If we can find some sticks of the right size," he smiled, "I would love to try that ... but I do think we need to stock up on dye and colours. Even though I know we need some for Jair and Idhril when they come, it's been a while since we've painted on each other ... perhaps we could do a bit of painting when we get home from meeting with the goddesses?"
He smiled warmly at her, waiting for the sadness to vanish from her face, but kept his distance so that they wouldn't be tempted to go back right away. Not that they would, he thought - after all they couldn't paint on each other without more paint anyways.

Niyana nods, "Well we will keep an eye out for stick that size and thickness. But we really should be good and collect some herbs." She winked at him and of course we can paint tonight in celebration if we can get our vases, but love...we have to save our cheeks for Idhril I promised her she could paint them."
She smiled and moved a hand to softly stroke his cheek then laughs, "Alright lets go looking." she smiled and headed off hopefully still towards the stream her messy blonde hair swaying behind her.
She hummed softly then turned to face him as she walked backwards, "So do you remember what it looks like dear Celebor?" Her face was soft and smiling now.

Celebor smiled, grinning widely and chuckling when she winked at him, and he nodded at her first comment.
"All right, then," he smiled, "cheeks are out of the question. But there are many more parts of us that are free to be painted then, are there not? Places that I would let no one else paint, as well you know."
When she stroked his cheek he turned his head and kissed the inside of her wrist, and then followed her towards the stream. He had to fight the urge to reach out and tug on her loose hairs - he just wanted to feel them in his hand, honestly - but he kept his hands properly at his sides.
At her question, he felt his face growing warm. "I ... don't know," he admitted. "So much has happened since you first showed it to me ... perhaps if you could show me once more time?"

Niyana laughed fully at his comment, "Well you are welcome to everything from my chin down my love." She ran her hand down herself.
The kiss to her wrist though lightening sparked threw her..She wanted to feel his lips on more of her. She blushed at the thought and could just feel him touching her. She shook her head her cheeks bright and her eye wide in shock and a slight need.
"Um...what they look like?" She tilted her head, "Oh yeah...I mean yes my lord I can show you them again...um..." she looked around and luckily for her found a small henna plant. She knelt down, "Here you are....I don't think we should leave this one here so it can grow nice and strong." She smiled up at him her fingers soft and gentle on the leaves of the small plant

Celebor chuckled at her reaction to his kiss. He hadn't really meant to fluster her like that ... though if they were back home he would have done more to see her like that.
Yes. They would definitely be painting as soon as they got back.
"Ah, yes," he smiled, kneeling next to her, careful not to touch her at all as he peered down at the plant in her hands. "I remember now. We should collect as much as we can, then ... we're going to be needing quite a bit, if Idhril gets her way."
He started looking around for some more of the plant, deliberately not touching or looking at Niyana so that he wouldn't have to fight his body again.

Niyana would have normally been upset if he was not looking or touching her but this time she let out a long sigh. It was for the best. She nods and smiles moving away from him, "Try not to pick too young of ones...we need to let those grow...and reproduce." She smiles and seeing some flowers perfect for white dye. She moved to pick them and put them in her pouch.
As long as she did not look at him or think about him right now she would do alright. She just had to calm down then she would be fine.

Raspy was off wandering around in their little world with her sister. It didn't take them a long time to end up in the meadow, because their house was actually near the place. The sun was high in the sky and various birds sang in the treetops. It was a beautiful day.
"we havent been out like this in ages. Sure does feel great to come out to the sunshine again." Raspy mused.
