Gosh, I wish I could take a Portuguese (specifically that spoken in Brazil) in my area. I would in a heartbeat, since that's where I plan on going when I'm out of high school and college, to study the life in the rain forest.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be much of a teacher either, but whenever you want to practice or something, please, do use your PM - I'm at your disposal. My brother and a friend of ours want to learn Portugese. Hopefully we can start learning soon. Anyone have any suggestions on curriculum?

^^ Just started learning Portuguese. I mostly studied Japanese before, so I was used to having a lot of resources to learn from (books (went on a trip to Japan and visited a bookstore), anime, the increasing amount of Japanese spoken on the internet, imported video games, etc.), but I'm a bit lost as to where I might find such resources for Portuguese. It doesn't strike me as a common language that one can find here in the US, or by importing things we usually buy anyway.

What do you guys use other than study books?
