Akki looked up towards Yuuki.
"Coast clear Yuu?" Yuuki let out a few chirps to signal that all was calm.
She turned her attention back to Li.

"My name is Akki, that's Yuuki up on the roof. I wouldn't really recommend the the lodging in the city if your traveling alone.It can get a bit, well...unpleasant..." She said with a soft chuckle. Akki had been in Li's positions many times when she young, and left her mother and father to train. No place to stay, not knowing when or if you'd see a friendly face.She looked at Li, she was very pretty, but young and not quite sure of her powers, though she tried to appear that she was.
"I live about 10 min walk outside the city, your welcome to stay with us if you like." She smiled kindly at the young girl.

Akki smiled at Li's curiosity toward Yuuki.
"He is a phoenix, I found him as an egg a long time ago, before the mountain erupted and machines came to be. The lands of fire have changed much since i was first born, but that was a while ago." Akki smiled and shook her head a bit.
"Come, let me show my house." She said gesturing on away from the alley on a bit more south from the city.

" the city was founded not to long ago..well at least to me it wasnt that long ago, 100 years or so, i think...when your my age years, decades and centuries all become the same thing. Machines are a bit younger than the city but not by much. A nuisance really, I don't care much for machines never have." Akki said walking on ahead the people in the crowd moving out of her way with out hesitation. It was apparent that many people knew of Akki and respected her, not out of fear, but of her kindness that she had done to so many.Yuuki was flying over head using the warm air current to keep him up with out much effort.

Akki noticed the sound change in her voice and pace.
"Yeah I'm up there in age, nothing compared to some of the other inhabitants though."She could see her house now.

'you gotta tell her you know...' Yuuki was talking to Akki telepathically.
'i know quit naggin' me..'Akki gave him a smirk.

She paused for a bit and sighed.she know humans never really took to the information that she was cat demon, she would have been a mix of a bunch of thing had her creation not been so unique. She massaged the back of her neck and then took a death breath.
"Lin, when you look at me what do you see?"

"Close but no..I am simply put a cat demon." Akki gave her a calm look, she felt Li's energy change, even if she did attack it would not harm her. Li's powers were still young and could not harm. She waited for a respond and some how she knew what it would be.

" I do not know, but I can guess, I'm much to old and much more powerful than you, even if you do strike I will not strike back, I mean no harm only to help, you wont go very far in this city or this realm with out crossing on of my kind.Our clans leader Kagai is also a cat demon, well saber tooth to be more exact. We are not all like the demon of your past. You can not judge us simply by how we came to be. I have not harmed you nor have I been hostile to you, but that man back there..that human male accused you theft and would have been glad to take your precious dagger and throw you in jail." Akki stood her ground, her voice strong and calm.
Yuuki landed next to Akki. His golden plumage glittered in the sunlight.

"Sometimes yes, but no, not now a days, our kind is learning to hide itself ad humans, those who have never harmed a human before are being persecuted by crimes the dark demons commit. i myself have many shapes, but this one i have suits me just fine to get around the city and what not." She smiled k indly at the young girl.
"Demons come in shapes and kind, fox, wolf,cat,bird, etc. you name it and there is a demon of that kind. Some are good some are evil, just as humans are."
