The moment Jay had played the last note of the song, and the crowd starting to cheer and applaud, Zack was suddenly forced back, just barely missing the drum set, a girl in his arms. He had, however, hit his head on the hard wood floor, causing him to black out for a moment. The others on stage had to shield their eyes from dust and any debris flying about from some of the destroyed instruments.
Tristan and Sarah both saw Zack catch the girl and fly back, so they scrambled to Zack's side, Sarah trying to wake Zack up, and Tristan looking at the arrow in the girl's side. Sarah's smacking of Zack's cheeks finally made the boy come back from the black out. He coughed as there was still dust flying about, and some of it got in his throat, drying it out. he tried to sit up, but his head was in shocking pain, and Sarah advised him to stay down.
"What happened?" Zack croaked out.
"She's got an arrow in her side," Tristan said, referring to the girl Zack was holding, "but she seems to be alive still. She's got tears coming out of her eyes."
Zack looked down at the face of the girl he was holding, and his breath got caught in his throat. he could see her more clearly than when she had bumped into him earlier, and he knew that it was the angel. Zack looked around, wondering if she had just saved his life again, and, sure enough, he saw the old priest, and two shadowy figures on top of a light post near the back of the stadium.
Jay and Kevin ran up to the others, Jay propping down on the other side of Sarah, and Kevin next to Tristan. "The doors are all locked," Kevin said. "We're stuck in here."
"And with all those people panicking, I don't know what's going to happen..." Jay put in. "A riot, most likely. We gotta get out of here." Jay glanced at the girl, and Zack made a note to punch Jay if he tried anything with the girl.
"Zack is no condition to be moving around," Sarah said. "He could have a concussion."
Zack ignored his pain in his head, and sat up, still holding onto the angel in his arms. "I agree with Jay. Help me up." Kevin and Tristan held onto the girl, though she was still in Zack's arms, for he refused to let her go, while Jay helped him up by pushing up on his back. Zack gave the two demons (though he didn't realize they were demons) one last glance, and the group hurridly made their way to the door in the back stage. It was difficult, considering the people were running around in a frenzy, but they finally made it. Jay kicked the door twice, and it broke through. Before anyone else could realize that it was open, they scurried out and ran towards the van.
"Where are we going?" Jay asked, climbing into the driver's seat. Sarah pushed Kevin out of the way, giving him a look that told him to go sit in the passenger seat, and she'll sit with Zack in the back.
"We can go to my place," Sarah said. Well, despite the event, they were all relieved to be going to such a great place. Sarah lived with her parents, but they lived in a mansion, having inherited Sarah's aunt's estate and money after she had died ten years ago.
Tristan and Sarah helped Zack get settled in the back of the van, and Jay pulled away just as Tristan closed the sliding door.

Melody was sensing in semi-conscious blurs, her eyes staying shut; conversation between band members while in the arms of a familiar person. Footsteps; many many footsteps in a hurry. Sounds of falling debris, screaming, panicking, sounds of pain that scared her. A couple kicks, then a crashing sound, followed by more hurried footsteps. Then, the feeling of rain falling on her......the slamming of a car door as the rain stopped falling suddenly.
But, there were two things that suddenly made her panic with a horrible realization; the fact she could actually feel the rain, and the fact that it looks like she could be seen and felt by all. She was an angel, not a human; what had happened to her?! This was all wrong; she had screwed up somewhere, and it was going to cost a change in history. What happened, WHAT HAPPENED?!
Suddenly consious due to her panic, she finally opened her eyes and shot right up, sitting upright for a moment to see her surroundings. She felt......different, and was taking a moment for her memories to catch up with her, now having discomfort in her head for some reason. She was now inside a van, which was moving in a rather high speed, with two people sitting with her in the back and some in the front. The girl known as Sarah was on one side of her, and she was sitting in the arms of.........Zack.
So the demon lied; he wasn't dead, she wasn't dead. Thank God! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!
As she tried to turn towards the one behind her (techinacally), she let out a cry, for she felt something awful that was causing her unhappiness. She felt her wings span out now, which probably wasn't good for the girl next to her. She also felt something move down her face, and that there had been other bits of mositure doing so before now, maybe when she was asleep. Was this what humans called 'physical pain'? Looks like she was getting her crash course of Earth, but not like how it was planned. She looked to see an arrow sticking out of her side; it caused unpleasnt discomfort to move.
The young angel instead weakly turned her head towards her charge, and noticed he seemed to be in pain too. Sensing where the pain was, she placed a hand ontop of his head weakly, and found to be a bruise within his messy hair. Using what little energy she had left, she transferred it to the wound. It disappeared immediately, and his headache should now be gone.
Despite the pain, Melody was happy; she was able to keep him safe. She tried out her voice in non-speech, and after a few throat-clears, she got the hang of it. Well, for mabye a word or two.
"Zack..........you ok?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She was afraid and in pain at the same time, for the last meeting ended not to well for Zack.
Sotan took in this information, even as he was being shocked by his opponent. No matter; no pain, no gain.
"So........you are the rumored son of the King himself? You have your proof around your neck, what I had spent years searching for, as you know........" what started out as a chuckle, turned into a roar of manical laughter, and he let the fool attack him.
"After all these years, it's been laying under my very nose! Clever one, you are, but just brains and a puny necklace isn't going to save you in the long run. His son or not, I shall defeat you, whether it be now, or at a better time without all these fools running about screaming. Why? Because unlike you and the others, I have the WILL to finish what I started. ANd this time, I'm not as alone as you think." he chuckled, before staggering away a few steps and looked up at hte priest. He'd snap out of it soon.
"Until that time comes, my friend, I suggest you choose your side carefully; the wrong choice might not work out so well for you later on. Time is the most obvious medicine, and it's on my side. You will all die by the end, all the angels and humans, and you if you're not careful." he said, before giving a peace sign with his mask still one, and disappeared into a puff of smoke.
"Ouch, done a right pain to my back, that fool." the priest grumbled, noticing the demon Sotan disappear right before he could react. "Ah well, been awhile since I've encountered demon magic. I appreciate your help, whether for me or not." the man nodded to the boy, before landing back down in to the masses. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a mess here to clean up, before cleaning up other messes. This should be fun; Ohohohoho!"

((forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they're in an open-air stadium/structure))
Fool! Absolute, unbelievable fool! Stupid, stupid Amadeus! NEVER look in the eyes of a demon! What had possessed him to stare into that evil eye of Sotan, Amadeus wasn't sure, but one thing was for certain: he had paid dearly because of it. The paralyzing effect had hit him full-force, and as such, he had been unable to assist either the lady-angel or the priest in their scuffle with the demon. However, now that Amadeus's imprisoner had vanished, so had the paralyzing effect. He was free to move now, but there was nothing left for him to do. Well, nothing to help Priest Charles (as he now found out his name to be). He could, however aid the masses...
Spreading his wings, he flew up into the air, his strong beats carrying him easily. Closing his eyes and holding his hands up to heaven, Amadeus hovered in place and offered up a prayer to his Creator.
'Holy Father, I ask a simple miracle of you. Imbue this drizzle of rain with the power to calm the masses and allow them to collect their courage. Embolden them so that they know no fear in the face of what has just taken place. Help them keep their wits about them, and allow them to take the correct course of action. Do not let their confusion turn to fear, their fear turn to turmoil, and their turmoil turn to riot. Spare them the pain and suffering of mass chaos. Allow them to weather out this turbulent moment in the smoothest way possible.' Pause. He opened his eyes, returned his arms to his sides, and looked down upon the crowd as it rapidly turned to panic. 'Amen.'
Almost as soon as he finished his prayer. The rain began to change. It was no longer uncomfortable, no longer annoying, no longer cold. It turned to a light, soothing fall of water, warm and gentle kisses on the skin of the people. Even the color of the rain became lighter. It flowed down majestically, heavy enough so that it could be felt by the people, but light enough so that it felt good. Amadeus could already see the people slowly calming down and starting to look up. 'Yes. Yes, that's right my mortal brothers and sisters. Look up. Look up and think of Him, how he has provided for you all your life, and even now... in this time of chaos... he provides you with soothing rain. Look up and feel safe. Take comfort in his everlasting outreach. Feel his protection, as he loves you and wishes for the best for you. Be not afraid, brothers and sisters. For He is watching over you. Be not afraid.'
His prayer and silent speech completed, Amadeus slowly descended back to the ground. He quickly sought out the priest and made his way towards him. "My apologies for failing to assist you with the demon, Father. I was foolish and... he paralyzed me. I have done what I could to calm the people, however... perhaps that is enough to redeem myself as a Guardian of this event. You may, however, rest assured that I will not fail you again so easily in the future."

((It's cool; school becomes a heck-field when it comes to end of the year exams and stuff. Today was my first day off of high school forevers! biggrin I get to go to Graduation tomorrow night!
Well, it had a dome roof that opened and shut, but we'll just say that amid all the chaos, the lever got pushed back and it's raining in it now!))
As the Priest was now upon the ground, he had looked up to see Amadeus work some prayer to calm the people. Good, good! That was step one out of the way. As the man came down to apologize for what he called 'failing to assist' them, he merely shrugged it off. "There's nothing to apologize for, dear friend. I was a bit of a fool myself; that demon you just saw is one of the strongest in all the world of demons. Those who are not used to Earth get a definiate wake-up call from this, and as you could see, I failed to realize who it was as well. Need to work on my studies I guess;Ohohoho!" he chuckled the final part in real words as he reached the center of the stage, where there was immediate silence.
"Ok, God, let my mouth become yours and your wisdom become mine as well. Not for my sake, but for the sake of your people. Amen." He looked at the surroundings for a moment, and noticed that one of the spotlights just HAPPENED to have fallen onto the stage. With this in mind, he began.
"Well, the best way to grasp back at the situation and NOT PANIC, is to start off slow and review. For starts; good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen." the announcer man, frightened to the bone now, had given Charles the mike, and everyone immediately turned back to the stage. There were responses of his greetting.
"Now, as you can see, we've had quite a bit of issues within the past 10-15 mintues or so. I've heard many rumors; aliens, terriorism, the like. I can assure you that it was neither of these; as you can see, one of our largest spotlights unfortunately took a turn for the worse and collapsed. There was also a young staff member carried off already for help, for those of you that saw a person fall as well.
This in turn (being a large light and all and attached to many wires), set of a bit of a chain reaction for some of the equippment and lights inside, hense why there's so much dirt coming out of backstage. As for a few people ontop of the lightpost over there (as you might have seen), it was nothing more than a matience crew working on making sure the light was fixed. For some reason, they went into quarrel just after the explosion of the light, and I had to go and break up the fight. Seriously, people do the weirdest things in fear.
Now, as for the doors, they should be opened now and you may all leave. As soon as the place is repaired tonight, we'll have all the bands come back and we'll find out the winner. AFter all, you got to hear them all, since the last group just barely was able to finish the whole thing."
As he gave his speech, he had his hands folded behind him, and there was a gilttering light in his hands. He looked to be typing on it, as if a computer; it was a special and very important power; to alter what one (or masses) have seen. He had just recently been granted this power, and for a situation like this, it was needed. The crowd nodded in agreement, believing every word. The good news was; he didn't have to alter TOO much, for most of it was kept to truth-ish level. He figured that the less that was messed with, the better.
As the crowds began to flood back into town (and hte rain had stopped), he turned to the angel, the glittering ball now gone. "As soon as they all leave, I need you to come with me to visit another place, where we'll need to help a now very confused group...."

"I didn't do it for you, I did it for the angel girl, and for revenge." Strake said rudely then turned around. Strake spread his dark wings and flew down into an empty spot and changed back to his human form and began walked over to the entrance to see his bandmates standing there. "Hey, what's up? Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" Strake asked nonchalantly.
"Yeah, this chick fell on to the Zack kid, and they both got like knocked out, well she did, the guy carried her and they went to their van and left, too bad you missed their song though, it was wicked." Josh said thinking that Strake was sick and throwing up.
"Do you know where they went?" Strake asked quickly, not caring about the song at the moment.
"I think they went to one of the bandmate's houses, but I'm not sure, why do you ask?" Katie answered, knowing Josh didn't see the van leave, because she was the one who told him.
"Oh well...I guess we could like hang somewhere, how about the high school?" Strake said laughing, getting back into human character. He actually had a smart band, Katie was 22 and just recently finished getting her bachelors. Josh was 26 and got his doctorate's in advertising. The band thought that Strake was 24 and that he had actually completed grades 1-12 in only 8 years, and high school only lasted one year, and he finished highschool at age 14. They also thought that he had a PHD in chemistry and mathematics. Strake was actually in complete lack of schooling, but managed to hack the school systems and ended up get the degrees he wanted. "Hey how about the Spinning Park, I hear that it'll be 180 in a half hour." Strake said looking out to where the park was. The park was about a mile or two away.
"What about our instruments?" Asked Josh, remembering that the instruments were still inside.
"We can get them later, they've got locks on them, don't worry." Strake said beginning to walk towards the park. "Let's get going." Strake said noticing that Josh was just standing there, after he said this, Katie and Josh were walking next to Strake.

Sarah ended up being pushed back from the...wings? The fact that she was forced back into the wall of the van didn't phase her as much as it should have...The fact that the girl had wings made Sarah stare in awe. She knew it...Evil Angel was a bad idea!
Zack smiled at the angel, his headache now gone. He actually forgot about it when they started running out of the stadium. He watched her carefully when she was trying to speak. Has she ever talked before? Well, of course she did! She was the one who bumped into him earlier and had wished him luck...she talked then, didn't she?
He barely heard her, but he heard enough. He smiled at her and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. You okay?" He glanced down at the arrow, and back up at her.
Sarah and Tristan exchanged glances. Sarah bit her tongue slightly and looked towards the front of the van where Jay and Kevin were, Kevin pale and staring at the winged being, and Jay stealing glances from the review mirror. She saw that they were pulling into the road leading to her home.
"Jay, pull up to the guest house," she told him, and he took the road breaking off the main road, and towards a small house. It was secluded from the main house, giving anyone who lived there enough privacy to feel like they were on their own land. It was enough privacy for the current situation at least.
Jay stopped the van in front of the front door, and took this opprotunity to turn around and get a look at the angel for himself. "So...you weren't just hallucinating, Zack," Jay said. He was the only one Zack trusted to tell his story to.
Tristan looked from Jay to Zack. "What?"
Kevin gained his whits first, and jumped out of the van, hurrying to the back sliding door, and slid it open. "We need to get you guys inside, before someone drives by and sees her." Sarah and Tristan got out first, and offered a hand to Zack and the angel. It was a little tough, but Zack managed to squirm his way out of the van.
"Do you think you can walk?" Zack asked the angel.

Melody came to the conclusion: Oh yeah; totally screwed something up with humans!
But perhaps not; Zack was actually smiling at her....yes, smiling, the first she had ever seen after all these years of ignorace of her existance. Despite this thing called "pain" and the liquid called "tears" she was both feeling and seeing, she nodded quietly, and rested her head on his chest. He was very warm and comfy, and if it wasn't for her being alert and in pain (her pure white dress was now stained with red stuff, and was continuing to get bigger......what did that mean? It sort of scared her.), she would have fallen fast asleep. But as the car hummed on down the road, she decided to finally look around her.
It was obvious that the others could see her; why did they look so scared? Oh yeah; angels were only supposed to be myths. But yet, you would think they'd think it a good thing; angels were supposed to be guardians! But, she was turning out to be a lousy one, so she could understand. The one named Kevin looked as pale as a ghost, Sarah looked in pain and crushed........seeing why, Melody tried to shift, but it only made her cry out in pain again, so she forced herself to retract her wings to give the girl breathing room. She didn't remember even stretching them out. "S-Sorry, Sarah." she mumbled.
Oh yeah; Melody suddenly wondered if she still smelled of blueberry muffin. That'd be odd. She couldn't tell though; to stressed, and a little sleepy. Ok, back to the people.
The best friend Jay was driving, but it was obvious that he was looking through the review mirror, and very very often. She hoped he was watching the road (a collusion now would be awful!). Tristian looked nervous as well. Oh dear, she had put them all through discomfort! Nonononono; NOT her job as an angel! A bit saddened by this, she spent the rest of the ride resting on Zack's chest, playing with a tear on her cheek, in curiousity, since her human stuff was very limited.
Tension seemed to lessen slightly as they finally went into a parking area next to a secluded house. Strange, was this called a mansion? She figured it bigger, but then again, what did she know? Wait, guest house.....oooh, part of a mansion, ok! Now it made sense.
As Kevin was the ffirst to get out of the car, Jay turned around and finally got a full view of Melody, who was now curled up like a kitten on Zack. But when Jay finally spoke, she suddenly realized that Zack HAD mentioned this before. She figured it'd be Jay, since they were the best of friends since........well, forever, really.
As the others got out, then Zack (which was a little tougher, since they were trying not to harm her. God bless them all!), she sat up slowly as Zack inquired if she could walk. She glanced down at her wound; while the red spot was much bigger and she was now very sleepy, she still nodded her head and made to get out of the car. She wanted to be no troub-
"OW!"
That thought had actually been voice/squeak when she kinda......fell out of the car. It was hard to explain, but when both of her feet hit the ground she kinda...........fell flat under pressure. She had to get used to human feet; angel gliding=/=human walking. It was harder and used more energy; how did they do it, these humans?!
Staggering back up, she was finally able to hold her balance, but had her arms stretched out like wings to hold balnance for a minute til she got it right. She was standing in soft green stuff; very comfy for her bare feet! Trying to remember suddenly a good hand gesture, she then tried to smile and gave him a thumbs up. She was not yet used to using something other than Speech, which was entirely different from human voicing, hence why she struggled at first and it was soft.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the heavens, there was mass panic among the highest of the orders of the wisest of angels. The other angels watched upon a large orb located in the center of the clouds, sort of like a large television. As every single angel in the heavens gathered around the orb in eager of news of the change of history, it showed the past events in detail; Melody against the demon, the festival stage on fire, mass panic, the priest's speech, everyone being let go, the altered human news report........chaos, confusion, still those claming to see angels, asylum patients.....
Mass pandomonium; a hell leashed out upon the Earth thanks to Sotan. He had done his job.
These were quotes that came from one of hte head council members, a harsh man yet wise. But too harsh; the same one that kept singling out Melody as well as other angels that "didn't cut it".
"THIS IS MADNESS! Don't you realize what this is going to do to the public! This is going to put our words at jeporady; if humans find out about!" The man roared, as it echoed within the walls of a large church-like building in the clouds. The Hall of the Wise Ones. There were 11 men and women within the room; all with different personalities but with the same goal in mind: how to judge the situation at hand.
"Before I throw in a 'This is Spaaarta!' joke in there, Magmus, perhaps this was planned out from the start." another pointed out, slightly younger but still a good council member none the less. They were all going by code names, in case they were being spyed on. "God doesn't randomly do stuff for the sake of getting some popcorn and starting his own movie."
"I'm not sure; would the Lord want to cause this much madness?" asked a third. "You're all forgetting that he's not making it all one-sided; the great Priest Charles has been chosen to help the Other Side on this situation, as well as some angels." the others murmured in agreement. "True, but the Chosen Candidate for this job is what surprises me: Melody, out of all people! The Lord practically chose the WORST woman to be stranded upon the Earth! Why would he pick her? She knows as much about the Earth as an infant!"
You judge her too quickly, Magmus; if I remember correctly, it was YOU who decided to put off her training. Therefore her innocence is on you and no one else.
Back on topic: As we know, of course, the human fool that worked for the Evil One accidently bought Mystery arrows instead of poison, which after much research has proven to be Stranding arrows."
The doors opened as a lady spoke these words, middle aged and carrying in a scroll of recent data. The one called Magmus, now angered at the insult, objected immediately. "That's nothing more than a myth; we've studied that long ago; there's no way in that city of hell could the demons have ACTUALLY come up with a way to pull off that stunt. They tried before and were stopped, adn the product was a failure anyways." he countered immediately, smug in the face. Not the most favorable of men.
"While you all have started the meeting early, I decided to do a bit more research beore arriving. Let's see here.........."
The screen showed the scene of Zack and the band getting out of the car, but angled in so they could see the angel. "See how she's bleeding from the arrow? She can now feel pain, as well as both be seen and communicate with the humans, and her charge. Now, here's the ticket-"
she paused, as Melody's legs seemed to buckle and fall.
"-that's your human proof; what angel has ever staggered to walk among the Earth? None, because they don't REALLY walk the Earth; it's in a different relam. She's lost, and she's HUMAN!" her last word was a roar, that silenced the others for some time.
"All we can do now is watch and wait for Charles to explain to the Chosen Human how this is all gonna blow over.......until we get more information, we're sitting ducks."
"Are you serious, now I think that was there van, they just went into that house right there, near that mansion...I would be happy with just the little house, I guess it's for guests since there's no fence between them." Strake said to Katie and Josh laughing, he was pleasantly suprised to see them, because he saw the angel, and wanted to talk to her.
"I think that's a guest house, I also think that girl's hurt...who is she, I don't think she's in the band...I recognize her now she fell on Zack on the stage." Katie said taking pauses to think. "We should stop by and say 'hi'." Katie smiled pleasantly, she enjoyed the band.
"You just want to see Jay huh? Don't even lie to me." Strake said smiling, beginning to walk over to the little guest house.
"No, he's nice but I want to see the whole band Strake, is that too hard to believe?" Katie said walking between Strake and Jay.
"Actually yeah, it kind of is." Strake joked smiling, keeping his laughter in. The three got to the lot as the band was unloading the injured girl.
"Hey guy's what's going on?" Strake said nonchalantly, seeing that the girl was the angel he saw earlier. He didn't really notice the wings too much, so he hopes that they don't move so that his bandmates don't realize that angels do in fact exist. So, the angel fell onto the kid, but how did she- Sotan must have shot her. Strake thought, suddenly noticing the arrow. Why isn't she dead though? I'll bet he used a human, and a stupid one too. The human probaly mixed up the arrows. Strake was changing form when Sotan and Melody got intermixed, and he did not know that they had met.
"Is that the girl who fell on the stage after you guys finished playing your song? You guys did great by the way, I really wanted to tell you, but you guys left so fast I didn't have the chance." Katie said observing the girl, then complimenting their song.
Amadeus nodded. "If our services are needed elsewhere, then let us make haste and go there now. I assume you are speaking of the Fallen angel, Melody?" Amadeus closed his eyes for a moment and channelled his energies into locating the now-stranded girl. His ethereal essence flowed out, searching and attempting to pick up her signal. She would, of course, still be Gifted, and so she would stand out from most other humans. It took a minute, but finally...
"I know where she is, though considering your impressive skills in the art of Faith, it wouldn't surprise me if you found her faster than I did." Amadeus smirked. "So shall we be off? I'm not sure how fas you can make your way over to the house she's staying at with her charge, but I will lend you my abilities of Invisibility and Flight if you would like, so that we may reach them faster. Melody's life force is rapidly being sapped by her injuries, and so time is certainly of the essence."
((Bah! So short! But I can't have him do much else, because he needs Charles to make a decision. ;_ wink )
"Agreed; I can sense it as well. She's trying to her pain silent, though, due to her situation and not wanting to be rude. Sweet child, but that silence will be her downfall if she's not careful." he sighed. Then again, who could blame her after how she was treated by one of the officials? It had been a forced learning, even in heaven. This place might be the escape she's been needing, but they needed to be quick to keep her alive and here. She needed this place.
Upon haring Amadeus's offer, he agreed to it. "That'd be pretty good; we could reach them faster that way. I can feel the demon and his band at the place now, and that'll be a distraction to the others if they linger too long. And it's been awhile since I've been flying anywhere; Ohohoho!" he chuckled, as he too pin-pointed the location of the group.
Amadeus nodded. "Very well, then. Walk with me so that no one sees you suddenly vanishing from sight. Perhaps around the back would be ideal." So he lead Priest Charles to the backstage area. Sure enough, it was empty. Everyone who was back there scattered when things started getting dangerous. "Give me a moment. I'm not quite as adept as you are at quickly channeling Acts of Faith." Amusingly enough, Amadeus actually prided himself on how fast he was able to conjure miracles for his charges. He'd definitely taken it upon himself to train in that regard, so that no charge of his would suffer from a lack of deftness on his part. However, Charles... Charles was something different altogether. His speed and skill was incredible, which served to remind Amadeus he still had much to learn. One thing Charles wasn't, however, was an angel, and so he presently needed Amadeus's aid.
The angel laid a hand on the old man's forehead and closed his eyes. "Father in heaven, grant this man the ability to Hide from view, so that he may carry out your work without disturbing the people he serves. Let no man see him for as long as necessary, so that chaos isn't wrought out of good intentions. Also, Father, grant him the power of Flight, so that he may carry out your will with angelic speed and let no man, woman, or child incur pain or death because of time. Grant him Flight, Father, and grant him safe landing. I ask these of you so that he may more easily protect his people in your Holy Name." Amadeus opened his eyes, looked at Charles, and smiled. "Amen."
He removed his hand and stepped back. "In a moment, you should be both invisible and winged. When you are ready, we will make haste to help our Stranded friend."
((Props to anyone who recognized the last bit of Amadeus's prayer as a tag-line of the Seraphim Squad in the most recent Dawn of War PC game.))
Priest Charles said nothing but merely followed the boy and allowed him to do his work. Charles was eager to see how the young angel faired in situations such as these. Now he knew why he'd need an angel today; it made perfect sense! He only hoped he wasn't too late for the injured one, who with his mind could see that although she stood, it wouldn't be for very long. The other band arriving was only going to complicate things.
As the boy finished his very nice prayer and lifted his hands from the priest's forehead, the aged one suddenly felt something large come out of his back painlessly, and his body for a moment felt like he went underwater as he could see his own hands disappearing infront of his own eyes. To test it, he went in front of a man nearby and to test out such a power............ he stuck out his tounge while doing moose antlers. The man saw nothing and continued to run about in panic. The priest chuckled before returning to the angel's side.
"Ah; good work, Amadeus! Once we get there we'll have to be visiable, but this is perfect for getting there quickly and without issues." he nodded, ready to leave.
