My friend was reading one of the books and I saw that one of the toys looked a lot like Al... so we ended up getting two. rofl
Such a memorable way to get attached to an anime...
My first episode and I actually wanted more was part of episode 23 I think. XD First full episode was 18. whee

my friend told me about it, she had found on the internet when it was airing on cartoon network soo i waited for it and watched it. its such an awsome show blaugh

I was at my friends and I saw it the first time. I think it was the Phantom Thief episode. Since then, I was hooked to it. But I didn't see the first episode, so I was a bit confused. When I saw Al, I was thinking he has some kind of deep voice, but when I heard it, he sounded like a kid. My reaction was: wtf?
But later on, I kept watching it and now I understand the entire show.

well.... My friend got hooked on manga, and i had ben tapping InuYasha, but adult swim canged times, so i taped something else.
I kepted taping fma 4 2 or 3 weeks, when episode 3 came out. I was getting wicked annoyed with the show, cause i caught only glimpes of it, and i thought it was just another anime with a robot. (i dont thinkthat now cause after all, every time u call al a robot, god kills a kitten! crying {poor kities})
anyway, so when ep 3 was on my tape, it was all little kids. I figure it was the ep that explained everything, so i thought i'd see what the h**l i was taping. After i understood what was going on, i fell in love with the show! 3nodding it's the best show eva!! lol!

I just say an episode, fell in love with it, learned how it ends and all the little secrets, and watch it for fun.

I was channel surfing one night in the summer and I stopped on adult swim for a quick break and when I came back FMA was on...now that school is in I record it every night and watch it in the morning...

It all started when it showed up on adult swim, then the comedy of fma caught me.... so now i love it. heart
Oh and yesh the hawt, and kewt ppls that be in it.

Neko Kafweenu But then it came on CN, so I decided to watch it and find out what it was all about. I saw the one episode, was completely confused, but I still liked it! So I watched it again. And again... so here I am. =P same here, i still havent finished the series but im going to soon. I know a ton about the plot though =P

Hm...I found it the same way as most of you...I just decided to watch it one day after seeing the commercial. And I'm so glad I did because I don't know what I'd do without it now... xd

I got into it at my friends house like he wanted to watch it and I though I wasn't reallly interested I only had to watch like five minutes of those who challenge the sun (ep 1) and was hooked afterwards.

One of the guys from the place where I work recommended it to me, explained the whole backstory and said it was playing on CN.
